Official Sears Clearance Thread II - post Sears finds/deals here

Clearance has finally started to happen though the last few months. Lots of stuff is getting down to 10-20. Ill have to see if some of the stuff at least dropped by 1 or 2$

Nothing good on clearance, but saw someone push a cart with a 42in LG tv out the door. LP came out and said yo. The guy ran and the LP was jogging to get him. The female came out a sec later acting like she didnt know what to do. The guy got away, but at least no one got hurt.

"the female" ? lol

I noticed that GH Metallica 360 went from $23.97 to $19.97 (or $18.97). Other than that pretty much everything that was $9.97-$18.97 dropped by $1. This was at the store that charges $3 more than the rest of the stores in Tampa, so it may have just been a bad store to go to.

Wow. Best Buy LP sucks. There office is right by the entrance/exit door.

Guess they didnt want to do anything since they didnt see it.
I remember a few years ago a guy comes in, goes to the stockroom, comes out with a 52 in LCD tv, goes downstairs, get two pillows, put it on top of the tv, and push it out the door. It was funny cause he took it to the Ride On bus stop and try to sell it since it couldnt fit on the bus.

Fable 3 - $19.99
Dark Void (360) - $7.97
Mercury Meltdown (Wii) - $3.97

There was some other stuff that's finally getting reasonable but it's got 3-4 more months of drops before I'm willing to get it.
Just wondering, has anyone seen the PS3 Orange Box at any Sears in Southern California by any chance?
I did, many months ago. Haven't been to Sears much since the clearances dried up.
I did, many months ago. Haven't been to Sears much since the clearances dried up.
Yeah same here. Was hoping somebody would be able to offer some insight since lots of people here still check for clearances. Which Sears was it if you don't mind me asking?
I found a bunch of Orange Boxes for the Xbox 360 for $15 a couple of weeks ago. Don't know if that is really cheap.
Its a good buy at that price. If it was the PS3 version it would have been a steal.
Went back today, some notables...all for $10 (9.XX)

PSP - KH: Birth by Sleep, MGS Peace Walker, ModNation and LBP

360 - Halo Wars, Singularity, Halo 3, Fallout 3 (normal), Beatles RB, Battlestations Midway

PS3 - ModNation Racers, Singularity, R & C: Tools of Destruction

Sorry I can't remember more at the moment, should have posted right when I got home.
Dammit. I saw copies of :ps3:Singularity at the other Sears by me last night and I passed on them because I figured they hadn't dropped at all.:bomb:

This is what happens when clearance is non existent for months and I decide to start going back to check again.

But I did notice something I don't think has been mentioned as of yet that's on the clearance cycle.

:360: 60gb(fat) HDD-$73.97

It was marked $73.97 on the peghook but could be cheaper.

I also noticed they're finally clearing out copies of :psp:Jeanne D'Arc and they had a may sticker on them for $11.97.

For $10 I'd try out Singularity since I missed out on the Gamefly sale a while back, so I guess I'm stopping back today sometime to grab a copy. Here's to hoping the price is the same as has been reported.;)

Oh and before I forget I saw some placards for other items on clearance, including what I believe was one for possibly a 15" LCD tv for a lil over $100 and one for an RCA camcorder for $39-ish(down from $100). I'll try to get some model #'s and a more in depth list should I stop back today.

It's a safe bet that those $10 games are YMMV at a store that is actually serious about clearing out some games. I saw Singularity the other day and it was $25-30 IIRC.

You're most likely right, as the stores here clearly mark everything that's on clearance and miss NOTHING anymore. But it's worth a shot, as I've pulled some surprise clearance titles outta the cases before.;)
No go for KH and Peace Walker for me. Also, those 360 hard drives are $73
This. This. And that.

Now that I have a month off, I really wanted to pick up KH too z.z.

So about two weeks ago, me and the fiancé went to Sears to check out some clearance games.

We asked an employee to open the case so we could check out a few games and he flat out told us "someone stole the only set of keys we have".

He was polite about it and apologized but it's like.. c'mon Sears..

Now that is love. Do not chicken out on marrying this girl because you will regret it forever!

I'd pick up some of those $10 games for CAGs but it's such a pain to get out for stuff like that with my two Sons that it's not worth it for me. I could check and see what's left when I'm back that way and report here... if anybody wants to make an offer where it's a little more worth my time please feel free to do so.

Singularity is definately worth $10. I bought it around launch when K-mart had it for cheap. It's not a AAA title or anything, but the story was interesting, and the time stuff was fun once i stopped being so conservative with it. Most importantly though, it controlled well.

LMAO that happened to me at Sears years ago. I went in there to get "The World is not enough" on N64(!), and they couldn't find the key to open the case. So it was goodbye Sears, hello TRU.

3 month Live cards are clearanced to 13.97 at one Sears near me. Another has the Fat 120gb 360 Elites for 149.97. A PSP is 99.97 at one store, I'm almost positive it is the 2000 model. I'm basing these off of google shopping results.

Just an FYI that the $10 prices mentioned recently are definitely YMMV.

I was able to scan a half dozen of them (MGS Peacewalker, Modnation PSP and PS3, etc) and all came up $20 or higher.

Saw this today @ Sears (Bayamon, PR).

Beatles Rock Band Value Bundle for $50. Of course YMMV.

Good deal?

not really. Beatles rock band game is worth $10. You're paying $40 for the rock band 1 (2?) instruments.

I'd buy the Beatles Bundle SE for $50 though.

Did not know that, thank you for the clarification.

Good thing I didn't jump on this.

Not many clearance games at my Sears anymore, did get a Punch Out Wii for $13.97. Also picked up a few 4gb Sandisk Pro Duo cards for $6.97 and an RCA EZ2000 720p Small Wonder Camcorder for $39.97.

Thanks. I was trying to remember what the name of that mini camcorder I saw the placard for was. I knew it was about $40 on clearance and knew it was an RCA, but I didn't remember what the rest of the name was.

Checked out a new Sears, came out with :psp: Patapon 2 ($2) and :360: Singularity ($10). Not too bad I guess.

EDIT: Was looking for a :ps3: copy, so if anyone wants to swap for a :360: copy, PM me.

Take this for what you will, but I saw a sheet of markdown stickers today at my closest Sears. On the sheet was a listing for under $10 for a 'cordless mediaboard'.

Now the only cordless mediaboard I know of is the PS3 Bluetooth mediaboard from Logitech. That thing is normally $79.99 most places, so if it IS on clearance and UNDER $10 then that's a steal of a deal for a wirless keyboard. I'm not sure how it is on battery life and/or if it has a built in battery or if you need to use AA/AAA's or not.

If anyone can verify that would be great. I looked around electronics while I was there and saw none of those Logitech mediaboards, so it is a distinct possibility.

It is possibly the ihome wireless keyboard and iPod dock.

Hmmmm. Does that say mediaboard on it anywhere cuz I distinctly remember the sticker saying mediaboard on it.

First time I went to a Sears for game shopping. Definitely slim pickings. Apparently CAG is considered a porn site at the Sears I was at. The little net cafe computers blocked CAG.

Picked up Forza 2 (Platinum Hits) The Complete Collection for $12.97. Picked up Boom Blox Bash Party for $9.97.

So Sears changes the clearance prices each month? I see on the labels little APR's and MAY's.

The prices change typically on a monthly basis, although them actually marking the prices is YMMV. I just got Patapon 2 and it was marked as $9.97 but rang up as $1.97.
