I'm not "trolling" lol. The video I saw showed glimpses of most of the main cast. Had Gordon talking to bruce in a hospital bed about needing batman back. Its a crap copy but you can see it. I don't know if the 1 warner is showing is the exact but thats what I saw. Looks over a minute long not including what else was in it.

Ah ok. Red one was fake as hell but I kind of liked it. With the bats flying away. Wife wants to go watch Harry Potter this weekend so I'm going a long to watch the trailer on a nice big screen. Really hope the movie isn't rushed. I doubt Batman gets his back broken then comes back to whoop bane.

its gordon asking for batman to come back. but its bruce who is replying.

i know its just an assumption, but i guess gordon knows who batman is? because i cant picture gordon talking to batman (in costume) and asking him to come back, and batman replying, "what if he doesnt exist".

it makes more sense for batman to say that as bruce unmasked. and also hes been gone! meaning that batman hasnt been watching over gotham. another speculation that gordon might know who batman is.

i feel like a retard coming up with these assumptions to be honest.

To be fair I think Nolan wants us to feel retarded in making assumptions, hence why all the websites with hidden messages, images and such. So in that sense we're all a bit retarded.

There's always the slight chance it maybe a scene just for the trailer since the movie is still pretty early in filming and doesn't show anything too important (like say, a giant action scene). In the comics people always have said that Gordan probably could figure out Bruce Wayne is Batman if he so desired, but knew his importance so if they went the route of Gordan knowing Bruce is Batman then I'm totally fine with that. Though it doesn't help his chances of surviving if he knows his identity...

It wouldn't surprise me if Gordon "figures" it out, but the audio was spliced so I don't think that the reveal is in that scene, if there is one.
 
Its the last Nolan Batman film so I'd say Gordon will find out. Or he at least knows Bruce can get in touch with batman. I hope it opens ups with that scene near the beginning. Batman hasn't been around for awhile. Banes coming from his prison wanting to trump his adversary. Breaks Arkham criminals out and draws the bat in. I really can go without Catwoman though, I trust Nolan so I'm sure he'll bring her out right. I just don't know about her in the story. She could see Bruce as a nice money grab while being Selina and break into his house as catwoman. I dunno. Thinking about it too much and we have a damn year to go!

Yea I really wished there was time for Batman and Gordan to build a good relationship but pretty much the ending of TDK fucked it over as you saw Gordan smashed the bat signal and ordered the hunt for batman since he decided to take the fall for Harvey's actions.
That ending left me saying "wow..."

oh come on , give us a freaking picture of catwoman in her outfit and none of this tease crap.

I'm not sure if you watched the same Dark Knight I did but at the end their relationship was stronger than ever. Gordon knows Batman took the blame for Dent's actions but publicly he has to maintain an image of not partnering with Batman anymore because of the implication that Batman was a murderer.

If anything I'm going to guess Nolan is going to leave it wide open for an ending where really it establishes characters, but it's up to the next director and writer to figure where it goes from there.

Also the teaser did exactly what was necessary, which was get the hype wagon started for Dark Knight Rises. Probably won't get a real trailer until the holiday movie season, but eitherway it got me excited. For people bitching about it I REALLY don't know what you were expecting when it was clearly stated as a teaser.

There have been several set reports of the Batpod and Batmobile....looking exactly like the tumbler from the previous 2 movies so it doesn't look like he is getting a new Bat-vehicle in this flick so far.

Bruce will be driving the new Lambo Aventador LP-700 in the flick.

In the bootleg video of the trailer I couldn't tell if it was Batman or Catwoman. That's how shit the quality was.
 
I'm not sure how I feel about the trailer. I mean it was ok, and I know it's just a teaser, but it didn't pump me up all that much. I just have to hope this will be good in the end, have faith that Nolan won't screw it up.
 
The speculation is that the muzzle Bain is seen wearing is where he inhales a gas version of Venom (instead of the injection system). I think it's a better, more plausible idea, but the muzzle itself looks sorta, uh, obscene? I dunno, but it just doesn't look right. But, I'm sure, in the film, it works well and looks better.
 
I believe Neeson's role will be limited to providing spiritual council to Bruce Wayne/Batman in the form of an apparition.
 
Hope that's an early pre-mask costume. Maybe she catches Batman's attention after stealing his bike then adds a cat hood later.

I'm wondering whats up. Shes got the batbike. Bane has a few tumblers. So I'm assuming the League of Shadows is helping these people and as for the costume. I hope its before and not a normal Catwoman costume. Be no point in calling her that if they stick with the current look.
 
Not really feeling the costume but maybe she'll look better when we see her standing up (I just really wanna see how tight that leather is *droool*).

I think it will be fine.

I don't think Catwoman will really be a villain in this film. She'll be more another vigilante type crossing paths with Batman and maybe helping him some and fighting him some as usual with that charcter.

Bane will be a villain like Scarecrow in the first--i.e. just the henchman. While Talia as the new head of the League of Shadows is the main villain.

That's my guess on how it will play out anyway.
 
I'm with Dmaul I think catwoman will be more like she was in the animated series, not a villain, more of an anti-hero. Helps batman, but also a thief
 
i hate that so much of this is being leaked I remember seeing one very blurry shot of Ledger and it didn't do it justice at all. but nothing that gave any plot away.
