lol I sent you a pm just after you pmed me. I love you!! Thanks. I'll pm you the codes I have right away Link. Thank you so much.
don't worry about the codes - you might need them later to trade with someone else

tasr, I have a request - send me a PM so that I don't forget to ask you after I get off work

They've updated the list. Apparently more of their DVDs have codes as of today. Here's the new list for those that don't want to go to the site and sift through everything to check. Point values and when they became available and all.

PM me with offers!!!
I am currently 750 POINTS AWAY from the BLURAY PLAYER if anyone can help me that would be awesome!!!!!!! The quantities are now limited for the player if anyone can help me get the 875 point before that would be really great

I might be missing something totally obvious here, but what's the point of trading Disney Movie Rewards Codes? Why would I trade you a blu-ray Code worth 125 for another blu-ray code worth 125? It's like give you my $5 for your $5... pointless right? And obviously I wouldn't want to trade a code worth 125 for a code worth 100, and neither would I expect someone else to be willing to do the same.

The only reason I can see doing this would be beneficial is if you have 2 of one movie, but when would that situation come up?

Am I missing something here, or what? Sorry in advance for the newbie question.

I have some DVD points for trade:

Ratatouille
Meet the Robinsons
Aristocats

I am willing to trade for anything BUT the following (DVD):

1) My Friends Tigger & Pooh: Super Sleuth Christmas Movie
2) My Friends Tigger and Pooh: Friendly Tails
3) Peter Pan In Return To Never Land: Pixie-Powered Edition
4) 101 Dalmatians Platinum Edition
5) Snow Buddies
6) The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause
7) The Game Plan
8) Underdog
9) High School Musical 2
10) Hannah Montana: One In A Million
11) Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
12) The Jungle Book 40th Anniversary Platinum Edition
13) Ratatouille
14) Meet The Robinsons
15) Aristocats

I would also gladly accept any giveaways. Thanks!

i think a lot of people steal the codes out of the rental boxes at blockbuster or wherever and end up with a lot of one code

Newbie here too, i'm thinking people get multiple codes from video stores and trade them. Can only use codes one per movie, per format.
Trading 125 points for 100 is useful if the 125 point card you have is extra.
Is there a FAQ somewhere here?

I've updated my what I have to trade list. My ex gave me three codes that I already had. As for the video store I don't think they have them. I asked at Blockbuster yesterday because they were having a 4 for $20 sale and the girl said they don't have the codes.

Go to ebay and see what codes go for that gives you a good idea. Some codes that are only worth 75 pts. are just as valuable then some blu-rays worth 125 pts. The harder to get the more they are worth.

Awesome. Thanks for that info Mr. Phelps! Congrats on getting so many! They are definitely a hard find.

bluescluesmama named a bunch of codes that I can't find. Is there really a code in all of those baby einstein movies, most of the ones she listed are old releases and she said that on march 18th that a bugs life had a code in it. Can't find them on the DMR website at all. Please help and explain it to me blucluesmama; I am confused

it depends on the store. I go to family videos around green bay and they have the cases with the inserts still in them. As far as Blockbuster goes if you go to a corprate store that has all the movie cases locked then no codes, but if you go to a franchise that has movie case unlocked then you can grab some codes.

They updated the site today and I'm thinking that any DVDs that are shipped out from now on may have them. Check the site. I'm not all too sure. They have all of those on the eligible list.

We've more than doubled the
number of movies that are eligible
for Disney Movie Rewards points.
Check out the full list by clicking
MORE TITLES.

*Newly added titles are eligible for points only if purchased 3/18/08 and after. Not every eligible title will have an insert with a Magic Code. To learn how to collect points on these titles, CLICK HERE.

You have to purchase the movies after 3/18/08, and you must send a copy of your cash register receipt as proof of purchase after that date.
Yeah, but do you have the original cash register receipt for them. If they don't have a code, you need both a proof of purchase AND the cash register receipt to get a replacement code. Ugh.
According to the email I got from disney if you fax them then you only need the reciept and if you mail it then you only need the proof of purchase. That is how I read it and am sending out the proof for roving mars in the next couple days.

Right - that's how it has been working for the old movies on the list. But for all of the movies added 3/18/08, you must present both the cash register receipt and proof of purchase. Apparently, they want proof that you purchased the movies after 3/18/08.

They'd have to do it that way. I've got a shitload of those movies in my collection from before the DMR program began. If you just started buying Disney dvds you could get a ton of points really fast.

Blu ray player is now out of stock. HDTV is still out of stock too(of course).

Thanks for the heads up bluescluesmama on the new movies. Looks like they will probably be extending it past this summer. Don't think they would go through the trouble of the new packaging (adding the DMR logo) if it was ending in a few months. :D

Maybe I shouldn't have quoted you entirely. Oh well
You have a lot of movies in your list that came out before the program started. Such as Lilo and Stitch and the Emperor's New Groove. I have those as well as a few more on your list that didn't have any points. Can we write to disney and get points for older movies as well?
Cause if this is true I know I have about an additional 1000 in points that I sure could use.

I wonder if now that they added so many new movies they will raise the point levels needed for the rewards like the 23' TV.......

But some of those movies are not even sold in stores anylonger, how are we supposed to get points for those?

It seems to me that all of the new titles will eventually have a code card in them along with the "Movie Rewards" symbol on the outside of the packaging. It will probably depend on when the store orders them and if their source has the new packaging or not. Saving a receipt and POP and mailing them seems like a hassle. Although, sending in the movie stubs isnt too bad.

I just past over 11k! I am sad to say that i dont believe they will be getting in any of the "big" prizes...I think they added all these new movies so they could get rid of all the prizes that they have and then drop the program! I truly believe that they know people are trading and buying codes and they didnt intend for the program to run like that! If they did, they would have stocked more 23" lcds then 2 or 3! They couldnt afford to have 100-200 people getting $500 tvs just for buying their movies! I am stuck getting those shitty little figures most likely. Or a shitty gibson guitar you can buy for $225!!
codes i have for sale only ok for 3 for dvd and 4 for blu-ray ok pm me back

sadly it's not even listed as a Gibson anymore - they changed the description to "Epiphone", Gibson's cheap brand... wtf?

I called to ask if they would be getting more DVD players or Televisions. The lady who helped me said there was nothing in the computer about them coming back in, so she couldn't tell me whether or not they would be back in stock.

Do you really think they would go through the trouble of repackaging all those movies and the small cost of putting the codes. (that adds up w/ the thousands of movies shipped) to get rid of the prizes and end the promo in 3 or 4 months?! It would not make very good business sense to do that. They could just lower the amount of points needed for a prize to be redeemed. I think the DMR promo is here to stay for a while. Disney probably is seeing that it is more successfull then they anticipated. They probably assumed that the 23" tv would not go nearly as quickly as it would

The program still has 10 months 12 days to go & then another month to cash in. They had BETTER get the tv back in or other equal or better high point prizes. If not I'll just keep gathering points & for about 14,000 points you can get every dvd they have listed including the Zorro box. Most of them bring a pretty good price on ebay. If you got all & sold them you could finance a 23" lcd hdtv purchase. I hope it doesn't come to that but I don't want any friggin posters or sculptures or just about any of the other useless prizes they have listed.

Program is scheduled to end January 31, 2009 & you have February of 2009 to spend your points. Thems the rules in the FAQ.

Did they just change that? Last I heard it was like June of 08

For those of you that already have the newly added movies you could still get the code for them. It would be alot of work but if you need only a few codes it might be worth it. Just rebuy the movie and make a copy of the receipt then return it for a refund. You will have a receipt and as long as the new ones proof of purchase stock no. matches you can take the one from your personal movie and you get the code.

The only figures I'd be interested in is the Snow White one and the Cinderella shoe but at the rate I'm going I'd never be able to get them. I have codes I already have that not too many people want. lol Plus I can't buy anymore DVDs cuz my husband will kill me. I bought like four dvds this week and we really can't afford it. He gave me this look that could kill. I'd REALLY like that Cinderella shoe. And I'm loving the Little Mermaid poster, the Lion King poster, the Princess TV, and the Cars TV. But I have kids so thats why. LOL

Disney told me that it had to be the original receipt (no copy).

Like i said.......disney did not anticipate people trading and buying codes since it goes against the terms and conditions in the program!

Well I'm a parent and personally I was just doing what I had to to get my kids each a prize equally. I had already ordered my daughter the Baby Einstein CDs and a hat and got my son a Ratatouille poster but he needed CDs. Then I discovered they were going fast and I started to panic so I had to do what I had to as a mother. If they can't keep things in stock then oh well! *does a raspberry* Pfft on them! I wanted the Cars hat for my son originally and couldn't even get that! They should really clean up their list so that its not taunting me everytime I see that its still out of stock.

FAQ still says program runs till January 31, 2009. Redeem until February 28, 2009. I checked this morning. I'll keep checking to see if they change it.

i have given up on the tv! i know it is not coming back.......they allocated a certain amount of money to the program and once they are out, they are OUT!! RIDICULOUS!!

ok I might be crazy and all, but when I check the disney movie list I do not see the older movies added in. Can someone please explain to me how I will get credit for these older movies?

Thank you everyone

Ya not questioning you I just thought that when I started collecting in Feb. That it ended this summer. Has it always been until Jan 09??

I don't think you got my whole logic. Businessly speaking, spending the money to add codes to movies just to drop the program makes no sense. They are in the business to make money and I believe this program is working out better then they expected it too. Look at the communities on the web that have come together for this promo. Also how many of you bought a movie that you prolly would have just rented or might not have gotten just for the code. I will be the first to say I have. Disney is in the business of selling merchandise and if they can spend a little money to make a lot then they will.
Ya not questioning you I just thought that when I started collecting in Feb. That it ended this summer. Has it always been until Jan 09??
I think they changed it in the middle of February. That's the first time I heard about the change.
