I checked I-240 and Sante Fe today and the black controller (yes there was only one) was full price. As for any other black accessories, I was unable to find them anywhere. Also worth mentioning that this location has recently gone through a remodel as the game section is on the complete opposite side from where it used to be.

Anyone else??

News flash: The Big Lots near the May Best Buy just restocked on Cinemaware Marquee games. That means there's enough Space Rangers 2 and Darwinia for the entire CAG area. Go there and get you some. Also, they still have Tribes: Vengeance and Space Colony, both of which I recommend if they sound at all interesting to you.
That's a big negatory. Never saw them stock Psychonauts to begin with.
Yeah, me neither. But I still hopelessly check everytime I go by...

FYI the Toys R Us on 71st near Woodland Hills Mall in Tulsa has a bunch of Phoenix Wright still at the $10 clearence price. This was as of closing Monday night.
A few others of note:
Rumble Rosses XX
GT4
Contact

The EB games in the Promenade mall in Tulsa (41st & Yale) had a bargain bin with Pheonix Wright 33% off, Age of Empires DS 25% off, and a bunch of other stuff. I know thats a clearance going on nation wide, but I was surprised to see so much good stuff still available for sale.

Of course, PW for $10 at TRU is still a better deal. I'll have to check that out.

In fact I probably touched those very same games, cause I had both of those games in hand ready to buy before I changed my mind (better deals can be found). FYI I live off Pitttsburg off 33rd.

best buy on may in okc had a bin of half priced games up front with the 3.99 and 6.99 DVDs. i am sure this is a YMMV at other best buys. can't remember all that was in there, but there was a Yakuza for PS2 for 14.99. not as good as the 9.99 front lane deal but not bad, if someone was looking for it....

Been a while since there was activity here, so thought I'd post some findings on the FYE front.

The store on NW Expressway has 30% off new GBA, DS, PS2, and XBox games. Used are not included, neither are 360, PS3, Wii, and Madden 2008 (All systems). Nothing particularly intersting left. However, if it goes to 50% someone might find something worth while.
Anyone know of any Halo 3 stuff happing Tulsa area?
I haven't heard of anything. Wal-Mart is doing a midnight sale but they are open 24 hours so it isn't anything special anyway.

The F.Y.E. store at OKC NW Exp location has 50% off all video games and video game accessories in stock until Wed. the 26th. Then they are sending everything back to corporate on Wednesday. Still had some PS3, 360, PS2, PSP and DS games left, but they sold most of the stuff this weekend at a tent sale. SALE NOT FOR WII GAMES/ACCESSORIES and NOT FOR MADDEN 08.

Thanks for the head's up Sonner! Was able to pick up a play and charge kit for $10, Lost Planet for $20, and Fear for $15.

They told me the same thing about shipping the remainder of the games out on 9/26.

Anyone in OKC able to find the clearanced Guitar Hero bags at Target? None at the two locations in Tulsa and I'd like to get one for my wife.

I'm looking for Official X-Box Magazine #77 for the Guitar Hero 3 demo that is included. This is the December issue with Call of Duty 4 on the cover. Haven't had any luck as of yet. If anyone happens upon a location that has one, I would appreciate a head's up. I'm in OKC, but I'm travelling to Tulsa later in the week, so that would work as well.

Thanks in advance!

I was at the Targets near Memorial and Penn and on Northwest Expressway and May and neither of them had the bundle

Will keep an eye out

Hmmm...turns out the Guitar Hero bags don't appear to be first-party as I was initially led to believe. I was thinking they would fit the GHIII Wii controller, but some of the clearanced ones are fitted for the X-plorer controller, which will not (easily) fit any other controllers. The SG version was also clearanced, which probably would fit, though, based on shape.

I was thinking it was the first-party dual gig bags that were on clearance.

No bags at the Rockwell Target or SW 44th Target in OKC. I'll continue to keep an eye out

Also, I located the new OXM (#77) at Barnes and Noble at 63rd and N. May.

Yes, I have thoroughly enjoyed the GH3 demo. I am a big GH fan, so it was worth buying the magazine for a chance to play the demo early. It's basically the same game. HO/PO's seem easier to accomplish, but not so easy to make the songs a breeze on expert. I also went to Game Crazy to check out the Les Paul guitar. It feels more right than the Xplorer. It has a longer neck and more heft to it which felt really good.

I'm really tempted to get this Sunday, but that would put my fake guitar total at 4 (2 Gibson SGs and 1 Xplorer). Not to mention I am definitely picking up Rock Band, which will have their own guitar. And at this point, I'm not willing to give up GH1 or 80's since I can only play them on PS2. I'm kicking myself for not preordering this from DD when they had the $77 price tag. :bomb:

Anyone know if either Circuit City in Tulsa have Condemed in stock? I'm looking to get my scary on this Halloween and have a gift card to blow.

Found at Kmart at I-44 and Harvard (or thereabouts):

360
Superman Returns $7
Star Trek Legacy $7
Bionicle $4.50
Open Season $7
Quake 4 $7
Perfect Dark Zero $10
Prey $15?
Monster Madness $40?
March Madness ??
Madden ??
Gun ??
Battle for middle earth 2 ??

PS2
Rogue Galaxy ??

The prices are all after the additional 30% off that is still going until this Saturday. I also checked the Kmart by 169. They had 2 xbox live kits for $20, but I purchased those and didn't see anything else on clearance at all. The kits were not marked, so there could possibly be some games hidden in there somewhere.

This might be a little off topic but if any CAGs in Oklahoma, or Tulsa in particular want any game son my trade list I'd be more than happy to do a trade in person to save us both on shipping. Also, I'm on the hunt for a replacement PS2 if anyone knows of any at a good prcie/trade.

I've also seen this at Best Buy for $20. It's a front row game...
I've also seen this at Best Buy for $20. It's a front row game...
I haven't seen Condemed at the BB near me (right off I-44) for months. Maybe I'll make the trip down to Memorial as I have a gift card at BB as well. Or maybe it's time to finally use some of my Game Rush credit.

Anyway, thanks as always Brainwave.

Any good clearence stuff at Target or K-Mart in Tulsa lately? I'm getting my little bro a 360 for christmas and it would be nice to snag a clearence Live Card or something.

I haven't found anything new lately. However, the Kmart on Harvard still has the following when I checked this past week:

360
Star Trek Legacy $10
Bionicle $7
Open Season $10
Perfect Dark Zero $10
Any word on closings in OK? I've heard that the one in OKC is closing "after Christmas". Of course, that could mean anything...
Which one in OKC? The one off of I-240 is still really new (just opened about a year ago, I think). I would be surprised if that one closed.

I found out that the one in Norman opens this Thursday, the 13th.
