I managed to grab what was might have been the only copy of Suikoden II this morning (haven't seen it there in a while) along with both Tales of Destiny games.
darn it...suikoden 2 grabbed out of my cart :p
EBgames has MUCH better prices and deals then Gamestop could have ever dreamt of. Most of the Gamestop deals were carbon copies of EB's /pricematching to get even, now that GS owns EB I see alot less deals floating around. We can only hope GS adopts EB's pricing structure but alas it prolly wont happen.
Agreed, I've gotten maybe 2 good deals at GS in the past five years. EB has given me tons of good deals.
Is there a code to get free shipping on new games under $20?
Just ad some cheap used game like a .99 cent genesis game and then put in saver, CAG15, and your edge card. Gives you free shipping and a game that would have cost you shipping.
Agreed, I've gotten maybe 2 good deals at GS in the past five years. EB has given me tons of good deals.
Most of the Gamestop I have gone to in town suck. Some get so-so merchandise in but most have terrible employees that just sit around and smoke inside the store. At one store it was the manager who's name is Big George. Can't stand the freaking place.

R.I.P EBgames. You were good to us. Unless GS keeps them seperate of each other, I do not see many good things coming out of this merger/buy out.

And for the Trifecta, Damn it! I so want Deja Vu but I always wake up to late and miss it or today when I had it in my cart and was trying to get something else, and then bamo it's gone.

Oh and EBgames has a far superior site compared to GS. The only thing that I like about GS's site is that you can see if the closest store to you has a game in-stock, but still the system isn't fool proof and many times the games that were supposed to have been at the store weren't.
Thanks ordered one. I got this used ages ago only to relize years later that when I bought it they gave me the game disc for Saga Frontier 1 -_-
Also ordered. I have the case and manual but lost the game disc.
Is there a certain way to find out how many are in stock?
Add a ton of them to your cart and it will adjust down to the number that are actually in stock.
Is there a certain way to find out how many are in stock?
Add 99 to your cart (or a similar high #) and when you go to checkout, the amount they have left will be in your cart.

Very clever. Thanks for the tip. It couldn't be more obvious than a brick to the head.

got one too early today. Game is awful but for under 5 bucks cant pass it up
got one too early today. Game is awful but for under 5 bucks cant pass it up
i dunno i found it enjoyable, not as good as unlimited saga (which is amazing!) but its a different kind of game, the frontire games are more traditional rpgs

Just went through this whole thread, there's not much of the games I'm interested in, in stock. But I have a question, is MVC2 really worth 54 bucks used?

well, you can buy the xbox version of MvC2 for $35 @ gamestop. MvC is really the only fighting game I will play, and MvC 1 is the reason I bought a dreamcast back in the day. So I would say that it is definitly not worth it if you have a Dreamcast or Xbox as you can find a cheaper copy with little effort.

However, it is a really, really cool game.

After my splurge last week I wasn't planning on picking any more games up - ever, but for 2.39 I was able to get a copy of Bionic Commando. For that price WTF. Might as well enjoy it because I have a feeling gamestop is going to ruin our fun soon enough.

Last week I actually got my first non-working GBC game (Uno). After cleaning the contacts nice and shiny it still wouldn't boot. No big deal, EBGames has been good to me and I was going to take something else back to their B&M store anyway. Getting these old games on Half or Ebay or even my local pawn shops and flea markets costs twice as much and even more.

Yup, that's why I'm scooping up the licensed/decent gameboy titles now. Be aware that some Bionic Commando carts have a save glitch, so be sure to test it out right away.

Check out the FAQS for more info.

DW3 for GBC is gone. I've been needing to get another for at least 6 months now but I always miss it when it comes in-stock. My other one broke on me some how.
Lots of unusual used games popping up today...I'm so tempted by Ghosthunter, but I've already have a pile of shame reaching 40-50 games (and that's just PS2)*yikes*
Cleanse your collection of the garbage games. Go for quality, not quantity.

Why not sell your pile of shame in a bulk auction and use the money to buy something you'd actually want?

It was gone at 8am EST. Anything Dragon Warrior sells out in minutes.

Everything I have I do want to play, it's just a question of time allocation for me right now. I'm working 9-10 hours a day, add the gym, hanging out with the boys and I find myself not having enough time to play my pile o shame. I just have to stop spending time here :)) and playing my games instead (easier said than done...)

Yaeh i know that's the time. Thing is I can't wake up 5 A.M. PST everyday hoping for one to be there. It's just not natural.

that's exactly the same for me. Everything I buy I want to play and games that stink to you might not stink for me.
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/134777.asp - I think this one was added today as I don't think I saw it yesterday. By the way, 3 left.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/215720.asp - I think this GameBoy game is supposedly rare. I know that it's always posted in the EBgames Morning Update.
i remember getting Hearts used back in 97 for around 30 bucks. I played that sucker for 14 hours that day. I remember it cause my cat had kittens the night before and i was always running in to check on them between breaks : )
