Xenogears should be $20 new anywhere, it was rerealesed. Since then the prices for it have plummeted. I've seen non-GH copies go for under $20.
I know that xenogears was re-released but I have never even seen the re-released GH copies. ONly place that I have seen them was on Ebay and that doesn't count IMO. Still, the price they have it at is a little steep.
Man, just got my second defective gba game. Game and WAtch Gallery which I paid $4.20 for... but still. It doesn't even load, u would think EB would atleast test that much. Thank god it's easy to return their used games.
I got Zelda Oracle of Ages and so far it seems to be working OK. But I got a copy of Link's Awakening DX that is all messed up. I can't even create a new game, there is garbage data in all the save slots that I can't erase. Although it was a good deal I don't know if I'll be buying any more used games from them.
Tell that to EBGames, where a used copy is $29.99
Gamestop's the only place I've seen have used copies for under $20, but they never have any copies available. But can you blame people when they know they get more at other stores(EB & Game Crazy offer $15 for it, you're lucky if Gamestop gives you $7 for it).

Also you can't expect EB to test all the games, so you're going to get a few defective ones.

And if anyone was wondering, XIII is OOS.

Just curious;

Not to be a smartass, but are you folks who are getting defective cartridges trying to clean them out? Sometimes they require a little bit of copper cleaner or witch hazel and a Q-Tip to get going. I'm thinking that this might not be apparent to anybody who didn't start gaming before CDs became the media of choice.

I haven't seen them in stores too much. When I wrote that it was common with the re-release, I guess I hadn't really looked for one any time recently. I searched most of the major online sites and they don't seem to list the GH version anymore either. I agree with you not counting eBay, but that seems to be the only place I can find one now. Its kind of strange, I know they were all over the place a couple months ago and now they seem to have disappeared. To contribute, for anyone who doesn't know you can add a cheap used accessory or game to get the free shipping if you are only ordering new items. If you're going to have to pay the $2 to ship anyway you might as well get some other filler with it.

If they ever get pokemon puzzle back in stock i'm buying every copy that's the greatest game in the universe. I lost mine in my sisters room and i was so sad i was going to cry.

I tried cleaning the contacts, but that didn't make a difference. I think the game is just corrupt somehow, as it starts up fine but the save slots all have garbage characters in them and save games cannot be erased. I guess I can't complain too much though, it only cost $4 and change.

They had a big update this morning! I snagged a Kirby Tilt and Tumble after weeks of lurking for it and got a Mario Tennis for good measure. I'll leave it up to somebody else to post links.

Konami Krazy Racers is a great little game BTW. Who needs Mario Kart?

wow, great, great prices. I paid much more than that recently for some of those games. Sadly, I don't have the cash now to make the above purchases. I'll just have to wait.

No problem, I'm just glad people were able to get in on some of these. I got up a little later than I'd like that's I was late in putting these up.

Hey, have any of you ever ordered a Gameboy Player used from EB. Does it come witht he boot up disk?

I'd hate to buy it used and then have to shell out more money for a boot up disc.

I ordered a used GB Player from EB about a year ago and it came with the boot disc. I assume you could return it to your local EB if the disc wasn't included.

EB does include the boot up discs with all of their GameBoy Players. I'm 97.5% sure of it. That's how I've seen them every time I've gone into an EB that has a used one.

It should come with a disc because the player is useless without it. It's like how they can't take a system trade in without hookups...

I've actually seen them take in a couple of consoles that weren't working without the hook-ups.

It depends on how gamesmart (or dumb) the sales associate is. There are a couple peopel working at my store who don't play games at all (this isn't a fun job to them; this is their career pretty much) and they didn't know about the boot disc until i told them.

you could always return it if it didnt come with a boot disc

I ordered one used once from EBGames.com and it came looking like someone dumped it in a pile of rock salt. I couldn't believe it, but they took it back in-store, no questions asked. I'm weary of ordering another used one since.
