Why is Phantom 2040 $19.99 for SNES? Its not rare at all, or very good.
I'm hoping that's a price mistake (maybe they confused it with Phantom Dust or Phantom Brave) but the price didn't change with the update. I had it on my wish list for several months and it was $3.99.
:whistle2:k X-Files just keeps getting lower. I wait till it drops to 9.99 before I pick it up.
if i only had a PS2, i woudl get that, i may even buy it to play over my girl's crib...
Damn it I can never get a copy of Dragon Warrior. It's always sold out. :(
I know what you mean Indi, all I need is another DW3 since mine has broke but it's always sold out. Argh.
Hey, exactly what time (and time zone) do these deals take effect? Precisely how long do they last? I'm often up super-late and see the posts, but I've never once caught one in time. Edify me please.
I would recommend that you pull up EB's lists by price, and then create bookmarks or toolbar buttons to easily and quickly access them. This helps.

Well I suppose if you have a computer and the right software and really wanted to play it you could always...

...Of course it's just not the same. I had to settle for a copy of Magi-Nation this week.

It's definitely not the same. I also want the portability of it, as well as the option to play it on my t.v. through the GB player.

Kirby Tilt N Tumble is now out of stock, but I'm wondering if it plays properly on a GBA SP since you have to tilt the system around (I know it wont work with the GB player).

It would be friggin' brilliant if you could play it by tilting a Gamecube around.

Well, the sensor is in the cartridge, so as long as the cart is moving around I think it would work. Hm... maybe you could play it by shaking your Gamecube.

It does NOT work properly on the SP or the DS, since the cart is upside down. You could play it on the GBP by tilting the GC, but be sure to remove the GBP disc first, because you need to snap the system upwards to make Kirby jump.

Ummm....am I the only one that thinks its funny that you think the game is more playable with a gameboy player than an SP or DS?

If you ask me, having reversed up/down controls on the SP and the DS is much more playable than tilting the gamecube.

Anyway, I had an idea about this game: why not just open up the cart and resolder the sensor in upside down?

It's reversed left and right as well, playing with a Gamecube is much easier (I've tried both multiple times). Luckily I now an old GBA to play Kirby with.

That's so awesome.

Is the jump control reversed on the SP and DS as well, so that you would have to move your system down (like you were throwing it on the ground) instead of up?

Yeah. Just picture in your head what it would look like if you were sitting on top of the cart (facing toward the player instead of away).

I just feel like I need to clear this up a bit. You cannot play GameBoy Color games on the DS so Kirby would not be playable on that at all. That's all I have to say. :)

I think I've heard of it before. I don't know if it is any good but it looks like it is made by Enix

Edit - I see what you're talking about now. Weird.
Anyone know what's the deal on this game? The name sounds fake to me.

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/118013.asp
Fake sounding? Man, you wouldn't believe some of the names games had back in the day. "Cacoma Knight in Bizyland" sounds tame compared to some. Anyway, it's a real game.

Anyway, if that listing was actually for Paladin's Quest, then that would be a great price for it, but in cases like these (difference between listing title and listing picture), you always take the title of the listing as being correct. $3.99 is about the usual price for Cacoma Knight, nothing special.

Is Illusion of Gaia any good? I saw a few of these at one of the GCs that I went to over the weekend. They were only pirced $8 but I had never played it back in the day.

I enjoyed it. I remember picking this up at a local K-Mart when the SNES died out. Played all the way through it, and I had fun. A lot of people missed out on the game.

YES. It's one of my favorite SNES games.
I just an eb edge card so where in the card is the code for the discount for online orders?

(UPDATE GOT IT :))
I just got en Edge card myself this weekend. I had to return my pre-played SSX anyway. (The replacement still dosen't work... ) I figured with the last couple orders I've made with ebgames.com that this card should pay for itself in no time. It's a real bargain at $5.

The Edge Card really pays for itself after seeing this site. You'll find tons of great deals and offers and you'll be amazed at how often you'll use it.

So can you use Credit from the edge card online? EBgames.com says no, i thought otherwise? If so, where to you enter that info?

Easily pays for itself quick! Especially compared to the Gamestop and Gamecrazy cards. Gamecrazy wants $20, not sure how much gamestop is but I am sure it's more than $5. Maybe GR will offer a card pretty soon, that would be sweet!

Be sure to use CAG15 and Saver in addition to your edge card # when placing orders. That's 25% off all used games and accessories plus free shipping. I very rarely buy anything B&M anymore, plus I don't worry about making multiple orders with the free shipping.
