I have sold more games on the cheap (where's the person I sold LaPucelle to for $5 shipped new?), turned down more deals, and grabbed copies for more gamers on these boards than 96% of the users here. Hell, you yourself have bought things in this thread (and prior ones) that I pointed out and could have easily bought out from under you, but didn't. Lunar 2 is in stock, and immediately disappears from the site.

Suikoden 2 had the same symptoms of a game that was recently bought, and pulled from the search query. Suikoden 2 still showed up in the search results for a minute or so, until that disappeared.

I bet it was legit. Congrats to whomever got it.

Agreed.

It's not like we're robbing a store for games, and then taking those copies to another store for credit. We're patient, persistant, and spending our own cash to obtain games. If stores are stupid enough to have high prices on trade-ins, they're asking for trouble. (In my opinion)
 
Picked up King Of Fighter EX2 :) Thanks for listing this original poster...We'll see if this is as good as they say for GBA (it almost cries for the GB Player)

Hmm, I wonder if it includes the eyetoy. It states it comes with original packaging, and IIRC, antigrav was only available as a bundle. Anyone gonna give it a shot? I would, but I already have the game, and 2 eyetoys.

I know a CAG once ordered eye toy play and got the camera along with it, so it has happened...but I think the chances are mighty slim. My TRU has tons of Antigrav that are game only, no camera -- my hunch is this won't include the camera, and will just be another hassling return.

I totally need to get an eye toy though (have two games, but no camera!!).

makes you wonder why all of a sudden all of these Suilkdoen 2s are showing. I wonder if Eb and gamestop is getting ready for the merger and cleaning out wherehouses and coming across these games.

When does the merger take place? Do you think it will affect Eb's operations? I can't stand Gamestop's deals and I hope all the promotion codes won't die with the merge.

dude at Gamestop is saying March 2006 maybe Jan 2006 but not before the end of year. they also said watch for a BIG SALE cause they dont not have enough room to store both companies games at one place

if you're so generous and so in touch with these forums, you should know better than to post what you did in a thread like this. this thread is for linking each other to good deals, not saying there was a good deal but it's over thanks to you. that belongs in bragging rights.

That'd have to be the demo UMD that came with the PSP Value pack. It has some video clips, but no playable game demos. I don't recall off the top of my head what is on it.

I've ordered a few Eyetoy Antigrav and never received the camera. I was the one who got the camera when I ordered Eyetoy Play, but that was one out of about four times that I ordered Play.

If you were in touch with this thread, you'd be aware that talking about what you bought (or got pulled from your cart) is the norm--dafoomie, for example, managed to grab the elusive Valkyrie Profile a few days ago, and felt no hesitation mentioning that, nor should he have... if this thread was only about posting the deals, half the posts in it wouldn't be here.

EB had Valkyrie profile MAN I miss all the great games DOH!!!!!!!!!!

slide--everyone feels that way about VP... games like it and Rez and Gitaroo Man are the games you live to see updated on the webpage, and then pray that you're the guy lucky enough to get it :)

And since you most likely won't be the one, just be thankful for all the games you DO grab ;)

I'm still backordered on that, don't think I'll get it this time.

Its good to post about things that went in stock and sold out, for informational purposes, so you can see if theres a pattern. Sometimes, certain rare games will appear in spurts, which could happen when stores across the chain are asked to send back their copies of a certain game.

Well I talked to someone at EB and they said Gamestop is trying to follow their model and I have to say GOD I hope so because GS are total fucking pricks with their prices i.e. no great below $10 deals new, at least for the most part. It figures that the company giving us good deals would be bought by the one's that are stubborn bastards on pricing.

Think about it though. Gamestop bought out EB. Gamestop made a significant profit last year - EB did not. I doubt if Gamestop would automatically be able to embrace all of EB's low prices and still turn a profit.

Hopefully you're right and GS has realized they can use some of EB's promotions to their advantage. However, I still think the days of EB's best deals are relatively numbered.

yea that makes me think we might see another sulkiden 2 sometime around sept (think last one was like in may) HOpeing for a good update today
 
i think it sucks you cant use gamestops 10% off card online and you cant combine codes... about them only giving 2 for a game and selling for 20 ijust went over to a game trader to trade in BOF3 and since i didnt have the book they go UMMM we cant allow you to trade it in BUT we will buy it for 4 bucks .. I look up on the wall and got one with no book selling for 34 bucks i was yea right im going to sell you a game for 4 while you turn around and resell it for 34.. I turned around and walked out

While you do have a point, in terms of a website gamestops is pretty much unsuable. The addition of codes for the gamestop side is a promising look they might take the website style.
 
is it just me or is ebgames getting cheaper in shipping. the used gameboy games used to come in a little cardboard box that said PREPLAY now they are just coming in a little plastic bag giving no protection to the games in shipment

It's likely to be PO, so you could get $10 if you put it on a tradein deal (just cancel the preorder and get something else)
