And personally, I think there is no cost too high for super bomberman! Get the second one though, not this one. Over my high school career, I probably spent a year's worth of time solely on Super bomberman 2, multiplayer level 10 ("the jumpy level"). Crazy friends to play with are required.

(and i haven't been following the market, etc. etc. please shop around and get a good deal. But EVERY person on earth should own that game!)
For some reason this is just calling to me ...

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/234747.asp
It's calling you cause it's a cool game.... and if you don't buy it now (and play it now) you won't be able to play it until next summer.... you basically have to play it outside :)

I'm pretty certain it's also eligiable for a $5 pricegrabber rebate.

Damn you Wampa. I'm having a hard enough time resisting as it is. Must ... keep ... wallet ... closed.

You must give in.... it's Boktai, Hideo Kojima's handheld love, and you're getting it at an incredible price, not to mention the $5 Pricegrabber rebate....

Open that wallet. Now.

Then you can buy the sequel next week ;)

Ebgames.com can thank you wampa .. you talked me into it. I couldnt resist any longer. There's one copy of Boktai left if anyone is intersted.
CVan't comment on deus ex nor giants, but fur fighters was a somewhat decent title on DC
Check reviews on the fur fighters games -- I think the PS2 sequel fares FAR worse than the DC one. Could still be worth it if the price is low enough, but don't expect the same quality level.

Deus Ex and Giants are both good games. At this point you'll have to get past the obvious first generation PS2 graphics though. If you can handle visuals a little rough aound the edges you have a very solid adventure/stealth game and a comedic FPS kinda along the lines of Armed and Dangerous.

Both games are great games. I've had alot of fun playing them. But just as PAD says, if you can get past the 1st gen PS2 graphics, your golden.
If you are bored with all the games you have . . . then any would be decent purchases . . . but sometimes being cheap is not enough (sacrilege?).

I'd pass unless you have no unplayed games on hand (impossible for a CAGer???)
Ain't that the truth. Prior to my time on this site, I never bought a new game until I finished the one I was playing. I now have the following games unplayed:

GC
Bond Nightfire
Megaman Aniversary
Billy Hatcher
Sonic Heroes
F-Zero
Eternal Darkness
Blood Omen 2
SpyHunter
Rocket Power
Looney Tunes Back in Action
Camen San Diego
Xmen Legends
MX Superfly
Kelly Slater Pro Surfer
Mario Golf
Cabela's Big Game Hunter
Freestyle Metal X
Wave Race
NFL Street

PS2
Beyond Good and Evil
Zone of the Enders
Corvette
Metal Gear 3
Silent Hill 2

GBA
Salt Lake 2002
Iriondin 3D
Konami Arcade Classics
Road Rash Jailbreak
SI Football
Virtua Tennis

DS
Ping Pals

I did not realize I had so many until now. I got to leave this website to keep from spending more.

Supply and demand. I guess the Silent Hill craze has finally died down too. Like before, I couldn't find a copy of Silent Hill 2 and now I see EB has like 10 used copies in store.

I now also have a whole bunch of RPGs that I bought from EB and they just sit on the shelves and catch dust (they are all good games but I just don't find the time to play them all, yet I keep buy them when I see a good deal). Must....control...the CAG within.

How can you do the rebate when EBGames never ships the box with the UPC?
Silent Hill on psx seems to have had a major price reduction recently (it was in the $19.99-24.99 price range last time I saw it in stock).

$7.99

Oh skippy, you just sent me out the door. I know an EB that has an absolutely perfect one in new condition that isn't a GH.

Laters, you just made my day. Thanks a lot Strider Turbulence!

There is a UPC on back of the generic plastic box the game is sealed in.

So true... I still have a bunch of games that are SEALED..... oh well... I'll just think of them as for collection purpose for now
Magic Pengel (although it seems they raised the price to $14.99) - 2 left
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/234034.asp
At first I thought the art style of this game might irritate me (the girl on the back cover had a weirdly pointy head, I thought), but turns out I really really like it. The art is busy, colorful and immersive. And man, I drew a random green blob with a yellow feather-like shape on top of it -- and watching that thing come to life and start hopping around was the coolest thing ever! I know it always sells out, but get this one if you can.

I think this was posted before... but I'll do it again:

http://f58.aaa.livedoor.jp/~oukoku/

Scroll past the amazon stuff and click around.... these are from Magic Pengel 2.. (Grafitti Kingdom?) contest in Japan. Some of them are fucking amazing.....
Think about it though. Gamestop bought out EB. Gamestop made a significant profit last year - EB did not. I doubt if Gamestop would automatically be able to embrace all of EB's low prices and still turn a profit.

Hopefully you're right and GS has realized they can use some of EB's promotions to their advantage. However, I still think the days of EB's best deals are relatively numbered.
Well I hope your wrong, but from what I remember, Gamestop has higher revenue and profit, but EB has a better ratio of revenue to profit with a lot less stores to get almost the same as Gamestop
does anyone want to share their edge card number for the 10% discount?
dude.... its $5 for a YEAR.....
does anyone want to share their edge card number for the 10% discount?
i don't think you can share it.. because when you sign up for the edge card you give them a bunch of personal information which they can track to that number and if it is getting abused they'll probably just cancel the membership and/or ban the person from getting one again.. go to eb and spend the 5 bucks.. then go home and make a purchase.. its not that hard and who cares if its your first time buying from the ebgames.com.. make sure you're order is 25 dollars and it pays for itself

Ten percent of $25 = $2.50

Your order would need to be at least $50 to have the card pay for itself.

Someone has some math issues... ;)

You mean $50? 10% of $25 is only $2.50.

Edit: Just beat to it. Same timestamp though.
You mean $50? 10% of $25 is only $2.50.
well don't you stack the edge with cag15 for 25%?... yes the edge alone with 25 isn't going to pay for itself.. but using the edge in conjection with cag15 does.. not to mention you could also have saver shipping which would save you a couple dollars too (which is generally 2-3 bucks on its own) so it would pay for itself on a 25 dollar purchase using all the codes.

Ah, but you can get CAG15 and SAVER without the edge card. So you still are only gaining an additional 10%. But the real point is "get one, it's worth it." Speaking of which, I should get one; I've never had one.
