That's clever! Good job. It's called "growing up". Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. Buying stolen goods gives incentive for criminals to steal, duh. Think about it, if no one buys the stereo some idiot took out of my car, he'd lose his inducement to steal another one. If my 8 year old sister can understand that, I hope you would be able to as well. Not to mention buying stolen property is a crime. Just trying to give you some helpful advice.

How am I a hypocrite? Did I say it was okay to pirate software or download mp3s (but not okay to steal anything else)? I think you don't know what "hypocrite" means either. My original point was that when you knowingly buy stolen goods, you're essentially stealing too.

Oh ok, so if you directly steal it, it's ok ( like copying software or MP3s) but if you buy it from someone who stole it, then it's wrong........ Gotcha

Just to throw out there: buying stolen merchandise is definitely not illegal if you do not know it is stolen. I am not completely sure about buying stolen material that you know to be stolen, but I do know that in either case title never passes to you (as you can never be a good faith purchaser).

Good to see the $50+ grand I spent on college is paying dividends.

anyone know what Ephemeral Fantasia goes for when it comes back in stock? want to start a moring update budget since its the 1st of the month.

Dam that's exactly what I did and how I feel as I also bought Suikoden 2 at Circuit City years ago as that's the 1st place I saw it at $20, opened it and never got around to playing it even though I bought Suikoden when it first came out played it right away finished and liked it.
 
Man just noticed an influx of noobs, they should ban all cheap noobs and regs from being able to view this thread. Not only would it help curb the horders, but I wouldn't have to thumb through, 30 dumb ass noob comments per page.

That would require CheapyD creating another forum for deals, and I don't see him doing that.

In the past, he's always seemed to encourage leaving the deals open to as many people as possible (assuming you take the minute to register, of course).
 
this is related to the stolen merchandise thread. My friend have an xbox with a mod chip in it so he can download games and he is having trouble trying to sell it. what would you do?

Let's not get too ridiculous here. I mean I agree that there are a lot of stupid comments and crap in this thread as of late, but not all of us who don't post a whole lot are all bad. And as for hoarding, I doubt banning noobs from looking at this thread would stop that.

And i'm not trying to sound like a jerk or anything, but you can always just put the morons on ignore.
 
Also, not all of us new people are bad. I always click links to support Cheapy when I can. I think banning all new people from a thread is a bit overboard, banning people who post stupid things sounds better to me.

I hope Incredible Crisis comes back in stock for $3.99 some morning. I'll most likely miss it though.

So, I try to get XX/XY Feel the Magic, used, for about 15 bucks. I wait for it to ship. And i wait, and wait. About 2 weeks later (today) I get this:

Now, I ordered the game, while it was in stock. In fucking stock, how the hell do I not get the game, and how the hell are they not getting any more used copies? Are they dumping them with E.T. somewhere in Mexico? Has anyone else had this happen? Why today? Its been a crappy day anyway, why ruin it more? Dang it, I wanted to play this game!!!!

only back order i got cancelled was

new lunar 2 and new King feild 2 . i knew i would never got that king game i never seen a new sealed copy for years

i plan on getting cancell notices soon for

orge battle 64
sulkidon 2 and another rpg i got on backorder

Well today on a trip down to southern Michigan I stopped at a used video game store in Flint we used to go to sometimes...got my hands on Vandal Hearts complete for $9.50ish, Parasite Eve complete for $4.75ish, and a Vandal Hearts II strategy guide for $6 or so. 40-50% sale was going on :D

Watching the update, looking for similiar luck.

PS Anyone looking for Thousand Arms, PM me, I will be selling a complete copy of it. :D

vandal hearts 2 guide fell hard. I thought they were getting 20 or more years ago. Looked last night its like 10-15 nice grabs though

how much for the thousand arms ... no wait must not buy another copy. must not buy another copy : )
 
Possibly dumb question, while waiting for the update--Beyond Dreamcasts, does EB online carry other 'classic' systems? I'd kind of like to pick up an SNES, but I'm not in a hurry, so does anyone know if I'd ever be able to get one from them?

Sounds like something I did. I'm up here in Illinois and checking out some GameStops, EBs, Best Buys, and Walmarts. I grabbed a complete and mint Brigandine(with map) and a perfect Legend of Legaia and I mean PERFECT. This game is flawless.
