when i called eb up monday they said there will be some titles they will be putting up as a test and pulling right back down. I think this title was just a test title how quickly it was pulled down. I might be wrong.
 
didn't see much I wanted today... so I jumped on some cheap GBA games for nintendogs trade in offer and got me a sealed mega man extreme for a 2 bucks (only one this morning)

Mine was too. I had it already typed up. I believe that Slide is right and that it was never in stock to begin with. This makes me think it is false advertising in a way. Kind of frustrating!!!
 
Sweet Merciful Jesus, they had Soul Blazer in and I GOT it. That single game is the main reason I DO the morning update, and hang out in SNES when the update hits. Also got R-Type Delta (got screwed out of it 2 days ago when checkout wouldn't load for me). It's all downhill from here now.

I'm a fan of the trilogy and am missing the first and third titles. :whistle2:(

what is werid is Why would they be trying to update their site if they are going to close it down once the gamestop/eb game merger takes place. All i can figure is maybe Gamestop is going to use Ebs online system?

isnt Megaman Xtreme a gameboy color game. i though they only took in Gameboy advance games

the gallop racer was part 1 for 7.99.. your going to need tons of luck to find 2004 online

I only picked up Stella Deus for PS2. The only way to get it that cheap was with my $10 overstock credit that I would rather burn on a hardcover book. I'm with slidecage, I'm tired of getting disc only games. I'm gonna start driving around instead to game stores I think.

I think my cracked Saga Frontier 1 was the last straw. Great job checking the games, EB!

I do check for the closest B&M stores for stuff in stock though. And I might still pull the trigger on games that are super rare (like Persona, Suikoden II, etc) someday.
 
BoF DQ isn't bad though it may not be everyone's cup of tea. It's a definite departure from what you may be use to in RPG's. For one thing, in DQ you DON'T go to an inn and recover health. I would explain but it's lengthy, just know it's different.
 
Ah, nothing for me today. It was fun watching to see how quickly Valkyrie Profile went out of stock though.

Ogre Battle was back again too. I got my copy yesterday and it actually came with the original case, however no manual sadly. I can order the manual from Atlus when I get a chance though.

man i hope mine comes with a case .. anyone know if that Chart come with the manual or is that different
 
I don't know why I try to check out with Lunar 2 new every time I see it, because I know it is a losing battle (especially if they do cancel it each and every time)

Managed to have Vandal Hearts 2 snagged from my cart, but I wound up picking up Tail Of The Sun and Kartia before they disappeared. I have no clue if Kartia is any good but I figured it was worth a shot at least :)

Ogre Battle is fucking overrated. I had a SNES copy and I'm glad I got rid of it, that Reputation meter was a pain in the ass and OB singlehandly turned me OFF to Strategy games till I played Dragon Force. Now OB64 on the other hand is quite good, especially with the exclusion the the Reputation Meter.
 
im starting to think im glad i didnt get in on the Valkyrie Profile it would been what 35 bucks after coupon and 99% chance that would ship Disc only. by the time i found the book and box for it im sure that price would be around Ebay prices. Nice grab whoever got it. Hope it ships out to you.

Mine came with case and manual earlier this week. And the character chart is separate.

if you like ogre battle and YU gi oh trying that Kingdom game on the Gamecube. its just like ogre battle sending out people. very short game though but i still glad i got it
 
Well today and yesterday haven't gone as well as the two games that I wanted (one each day) were snatched from my cart, at the very end.

I received my order for Ogre Battle and Dragon Spirit yesterday. Was expecting a envelope as usual but they came in a box. I lucked out as Ogre battle had the case and inserts (but not the manual) and the disc was in very good condition. This was one I thought I would have to return but it looks like I will now keep it. Though it was weird because I received a different case as it had spots for extra discs on the other side (instead of just the smooth side for the manual).

if it comes complete its worth it. if it comes just with case sort of worth it cause you can get the manual for 3 bucks. If it comes DISC ONLY send that sucker back.

i liked ogre battle more the tactics ogre

Plus is actually getting hard to find?

I bought it when it came out and i've played it for a total of I think 10 minutes. Even online PSO just lost its appeal with me very quickly.

Of course i've been ruined by Guild Wars so it's expected.

How can I find a manual for that price?

Rock why not get the Majesco XBox one? That one has XBL play enabled.
