Hardly the deal of the century, but it was $49.99 just yesterday (I know because I check daily for the elusive used copy). Not bad for those who have to have it new and missed it when it was $35 at CC. Other stores show it at $49.99 to $59.99, but I wouldn't be surprised to see similar drops elsewhere soon.

I just called, and didn't have any problems getting it adjusted either. I think I might get another one just for the second set of drums.

So far I'm what 3 for 3. I think I will predict next that they'll drop it again n price to 9.99. Just watch, in a few day's it'll drop again:lol:

After updating, I decided to get a second set, too. BTW, they are showing > 100 units, but I'd hurry anyway -- I don't expect it to drop to $9.99.

Hard to believe that a week and a half ago I was hoping a used one would show up in stock so I could get it for about $28.

Edit: hiccup, why not predict $1.99? Or maybe they could penny them out :D
 
Holy crap! $20 is a steal. When I bought it CC for $35 I thought that would be the best I would get. I could use an extra drum, but what to do with the extra game then?

Is there any coupon codes for EB Games to get free shipping or something? I don't order from them much, so I don't remember if there are any valid coupon codes going now.

throw a used $1-$2 game in the basket, (tons of used psx games are only $1.49) use cag15, your edge card, and saver to get 25% off your used game, and free shipping on your whole order! borat rules!

Coupon code is saver, but you have to have a PO game in your cart as well for it to work.

Put a cheap preowned game in your cart and use the following codes:

SAVER -- Free Saver Shipping
CAG15 -- 15% off of the used game

If you have an EDGE card, you can stack the yellow sticker code for another 10% off the used game.

I just bought this sucker for $39.99 several days ago. Just arrived yesterday and still unopened. This sucker is getting returned; just ordered two for a penny less than one cost.

What the heck is going on with this? Ever get the feeling that the EB pricemasters are like magical little elves, and that they sometimes like to throw hidden gems out for whatever bargain hunters happen to be around at the moment?
 
There's no trade-in value at EB for just the game. Game + drum is $7, at least at the EB's out here.

Didn't check with other places.

Call up EB customer service, while it's still in stock, and have them credit you the $10 back on it.

Shipping alone is going to eat them up at $1.99 for shipping, for both of them.

Glad I returned my CC copy a couple of months back.

Never played it, but for $20 I caved. Like I said before, is it just me or is EB going NUTSO with all these price drops?

I have been saving my money for a while, but in the past 2 weeks, I have spent probably $400-$500 at EB alone!

Not to mention the $96 I dropped at K-mart this weekend.

I have so many good games now, I could probably play them for a couple years and not repeat a single game.

I think the first step is admitting you have a problem.

I heard the drums are kind of unreliable. Is that true? Something like a deadspot?

If anyone has the game, please comment on it. I know it's very cheap now but something like that can kill the enjoyment

And is this confirmed B&M too?

Sometimes that's the best thing to do. I've lost more than one deal out of my cart while I was searching around for a suitable preowned game. That's why, during downtime (i.e. when I am not actively making a purchase), I will search for such a game and add it to my cart. As long as it isn't something that is highly sought after, it'll often stay in there until a deal comes along (even days or weeks). But if you don't shop at EBgames.com that much, it probably isn't worth the effort.

The drums are kinda tricky to use. There are some deadspots, and for some beats, you gotta hit it just right for it to register. Because of this, if someone can beat this game on the highest difficulty, you just may be my new God. It's still a very fun game though.

These are nothing like the Donkey Konga bongos.

No GR here either, and my FYE doesn't buy or sell games last I checked (although I have read that even the ones that don't sell them DO buy them, but I haven't gone back to check again since reading that). My money is on Rhino. I traded a game-only Donkey Konga for $30 a while back, so I am hoping to do something similar with my second copy of Taiko DM.
