Hardly the deal of the century, but it was $49.99 just yesterday (I know because I check daily for the elusive used copy). Not bad for those who have to have it new and missed it when it was $35 at CC. Other stores show it at $49.99 to $59.99, but I wouldn't be surprised to see similar drops elsewhere soon.

Yes, but it's out of stock now (therefore the product page doesn't even show up), so would they still do that?
 
I sent an email this morning as well to get a credit for the $10 difference.

The first email from them stated that he can't find the Taiko game and asked if I could provide a link for him. I had to politely explain to him how their website works, that if a game is out of stock, it will not show up on the website. But that he should look it up in the computer database.

Second response from the same rep states the price is now $39.99 and that he could not credit me the difference.

Customer service like this makes me wonder why I even bother...
 
My local EB set this up in their demo kiosk last week. Man, I had no idea the drum was so fat, and the drumsticks are very fat too...

(It did seem to have quite a few dead spots though...)

Don't forget, somebody banging on that drum all day would make such spots.

Now didn't I say for you guys to hold out on this one till 5:00 and then to go crazy over it. I missed it. I will not let that ever happen again if I'm up for a deal like this. Hopefully they'll have it again tomorrow. Oh please oh please oh please EBgames have it in tomorrow.

I do the same thing with games on which I'm waiting for price drops. That way all I have to do is check my cart to instantly see if the stuff I want has gotten any cheaper.

I talked to a EBgames rep, and he said I could get the price deference if I could prove that it was 19.99. I asked if a another person order number would work, he said yes. If someone can list 1 order number from today with the 20 price, that would be cool.

Back to regular price again?! This sucks...I was hoping it was still going to be $20. I got to check CAG more often next time.
 
Good news: They've updated the site and added what I"m guessing is over 100 for the Taiko. Bad News is that the price went back up to 39.99 and straight out skipped the 29.99 price level. I want it so much for 19.99...Hopefuly they update it later.
 
I am glad I got a couple of minutes to check CAG from here at work yesterday... picked up Drum Master, NBA Live 2004, Cyber Tiger (my free shipping game), and later picked up a mispriced Target copy of Doom 3 Collectors Edition, and a clearanced out Gamecube gameshark... all for about 70 bucks

it rang up at 37.77 (sale price on the OTHER version, but this Target only had CE's... and was clearly marked 37.77)

what was funny was when it rang up... it did at 49.99 (CE sale price)... and I told the cashier it was marked on sale in the back (which it was clearly)... she asked me the price... told her 37.77, and she manually overrided the price without even checking... of course if I had got greedy and told her 19.99 or something outrageous, it probably would have raised some red flags... and I am not that way anyway

O yes! Lucky I decided to check right now and got me 2 (1 for me and 1 for my friend) now we can really see who is a better drummer. Also does anyone know if you can use 2 drums to play single player?

I'm tempted to get another one for this price just cause it could be as cheap as this is gonna get even though I wouldn't be making use of it doing alot of 2 player.
