Hardly the deal of the century, but it was $49.99 just yesterday (I know because I check daily for the elusive used copy). Not bad for those who have to have it new and missed it when it was $35 at CC. Other stores show it at $49.99 to $59.99, but I wouldn't be surprised to see similar drops elsewhere soon.

The box is pretty big. More like 2.5x the side of the DK drum box if I remember. At least it's not nearly as big as a _real_ Taiko drum. =)

I do wish that they had kept more of the traditional Japanese Taiko music in the game though. It's just not quite the same to beat the drum to western pop music. =( I'm suprised that they sold out so quick again though...there were over 100 when I ordered mine earlier (grabbing a second one; already got one at what I thought was a great deal for $35 at CC a little while back!).
 
I finally got in on this. Of course by the time I ordered, MP2 and the Bond game were removed from my cart. I was left with Brute Force, the one I wanted the least of the three... I thought this deal was dead this morning when it went back up to $39.99 and not $29.99 .

The point we need to learn here is that one cannot sleep, work, or eat... when it comes to snagging some of these deals from CAG

Personally, I was lucky to have had a small window for web surfing from work when I stumbled across the deal yesterday

Hardy har har....*grumble grumble grumble grumble* Missed out on it again. Woke up early for the EB updates, didn't see much when back to bed and then didn't even think about checking it before I left the house for GCs and school/work. Only got a chance now to check on CAG and I see that I already missed. Please have it again EB.

The main real reason I wanted this was to get the drum cheap so I can buy the Japanese version alone. ^_^

It's a great price but I can't stand the drumming games. Everytime I go to a store someone's pounding on one at CC, TRU, EB (but for Donkey Konga)... drives me nuts.

Ditto, but I'd be surprised if it lasts much past 1pm. I got a day off monday hopefully so I'm hoping they still have some copies for then.

I Got paid 30$ an hour to basically walk around and ocassionally throw a ball around or play 2 hand touch football and now I got in on Taiko, could the day get any better?
