WAI!

Mine is going up too, don't need it when it'll be on the Xbox Live Arcade. I have no problems with owning a copy of the game like that ;)

Yeah, I can sort of see why people bitch about Shamans. You can melee pretty decently, cast mage-type spells pretty decently, and heal yourself and others pretty decently. You're basically the jack of all trades of the classes.
When I cleaned my room. I think I thew away my plug n play kit.
How the fuck did you do that?

Jack of all trades but master of none.

And in the end, in the level 60 instances, most people want pure classes over a Shaman any day of the week. Same thing with a Paladin.

Many Level 60 Shaman's I know focused on Battlegrounds at the end more than instances, since they are awesome at PvP.

I wish I knew. It always stays in my top draw, and now its gone. I've tossed my room looking for it. Can't find it. Damn!

That may be, but I do know my one friend who was a Shaman became the leader of one of the best guilds on the server I used to play on and was constantly one of the best people in the raids I watched them do. They were one of the first guilds to beat Molten Core, which was pretty cool. So I do know that Shamans do have potential to end up doing well in end-game instances.

They have the potential to do well, but I know when I played there were too many shaman's at level 60, and most people preferred a priest over them to heal or a warrior to deal straight DPS (or absorb it).

I'm not saying Shaman's are flat out bad, but I imagine if times are still the same they are hugely overpopulated, and I know alot of level 60 Shaman friends had trouble getting into a guild or even getting into instances since there was just so many of them. I can imagine now that everyone in the world is going to be a Draenai Shaman or a Blood Elf Paladin. I think I'm rolling a priest with one of the new characters, cause everyone needs a priest.

Hunters have it ALOT worse. They aren't ever really needed in instances, and when I played many people despised them.

Things are probably alot different now. I remember when Molten Core was brand new ;) What guild was your friend in? I noticed alot of Shaman's I know ended up just making their own guild too because well, this way they couldn't get denied into a guild ;)

The game had a very elitist attitude at level 60, but that was before half the free world played it.

Got warioware for the Wii.

Gonna play it tomorrow.

Hope it isn't as unlockable-less and flower-on-minigames-less as I hear.
Hey, I've been getting a chronic sort of stinging pain in my lower back... this started happening as I started running. Even when I take a day off from it, it still hurts... always the same place, it feels like needles are being poked into me.

I don't even know where to begin looking for what this is, or if its something serious, and I'm trying to avoid a trip to the doctor. Anyone have any suggestions?
Do you properly stretch and warm up? it could be an aggrivated muscle, tendon or ligament. It could also be sciatica

Well this sucks ass. I have to retake a math course I barely failed last semester again but am forced to buy a new edition of the book for this semester.
Do you properly stretch and warm up? it could be an aggrivated muscle, tendon or ligament. It could also be sciatica
Yea, every time now.

Can you really aggrivate a lower back muscle just running? How is that even possible and how do you fix such a thing?

Crazytalk - Talk with your professor, all of my professors ALWAYS let people use the books from last year if they cleared it with them ahead of time.

muscles in your back stabilize your body and can get aggrivated through dozens of different body movements or position. it could be the way you move your legs when you run, the way you move your arms when you run, the way your heel strikes the ground, dozens of other things.

it could be a type of sciatica where the nerve that runs from your spine to your leg gets aggrivated, which can have just as many cause and an aggrivated muscle. sometimes, sciatica has no identifiable cause. it can be anywhere from crippling, stabbing pain to an ache.

Yeah, I can imagine hunters have it the worst. I originally made a hunter but I just wasn't that thrilled with them. They were fun to play as, but I couldn't see myself going all the way to 60 with one.

My friend was in Served on Nathrezim. It was hard to keep up with what the guild's name was because they definitely ended up changing guilds multiple times. They were basically the premiere Hoarde guild on Nathrezim for awhile. But he actually didn't create it, he sort of inherited it when the original leader decided to retire from WoW.

And there are DEFINITELY a lot of Draenei shamans. I'm still not sure if I'm gonna stick with a shaman. I had my most fun playing as a Tauren warrior so I may end up restarting as a Draenei warrior. I chose to go shaman for now because my friend and I are gonna try playing together and he's looking at being a Dwarven hunter so I figured we might need someway to heal ourselves down the road. But I'm not sure how it'd go if I went as a pure tank while he went pure DPS and relied on food and potions to heal.

Wow, thanks... didn't realize back pain was so intricate. So what's the cure?

The only problem is that the chapters are different and it's a math book (homework problems, ahh). I'll check with her the first day of class just to be sure though.

One time, when my school changed Math books, the teacher actually told us all that was different was the order of the problems, and the school was just scamming us to make us buy new textbooks.

have you tried heat packs? massage? stretching after the run? Ibprofen? back pain is a bitch. thankfully, i had epidural cortisone injections almost 2 weeks ago and it's made a world of difference.

apparently, according to an article on CNN Health right now, caffeine may help with pain after workouts. it helps blood vessles.

Yeah, I've pulled my back jogging. But then, I did jog six miles. But this was my upper back below my right shoulder blade.

I pulled my back humping your mom...

...eh, it's just not fun anymore.

i finally hooked up the 3-in-1 printer i got from BestBuy for $17.88 last week. It seems to have a really sharp picture and the scan/copy features seem to work fairly quickly with decent quality. I'm very pleased.

I'm gonna try stretching after the run... that's the easiest solution right now.

And I've cut back my caffeine alot so I don't want to start a bad habit again ;)

A lot of running is form. Sometimes my lowerback will cramp up, depending on how I'm carrying my weight. My worst problem is that I run like a sprinter, even when I'm going for distance, so I'm mostly on my toes. This causes all sorts of issues... Try running a little slower and paying attention to how you carry yourself... if you're leaning the slightest bit back or foward, that could be putting a constant strain on your lower back muscles...

Thanks for the advice... I'm definitely gonna keep an eye out on it. This is some good advice right here.

At that price, might as well buy another printer, cos the ink will double that cost easily.

All the more reason why I bought a laser printer. The MFC gets used for copies, color prints, faxing and scanning. And when the laser dies, they'll both get replaced by a color laser MFC.

CitizenB, I'll keep an eye on it. I would love to get another console, especially an xbox, I just don't know if I can afford it.

In other news, I actually played RE4 for a little while tonight and got sucked in pretty good. I kept getting my ass kicked and then I realized how helpful it was to shoot bitches in the legs and just rolled through them. I haven't been scared yet though, even when I turn the corner to see a lady pinned to the wall via pitchfork to the face. I should get some headphones so I can turn it way up at night, that should do the trick.

In more news, my back hurts from humping WhipSmartBanky's joke.

Blood for ink. Blood for ink.

we really don't. we havent had a printer in a year or so, but for the $17, i figured it would be good to have one for those occasions you wanna print a rebate, etc. i mostly use my superduper color laser printer at work if i wanna do any big/colorful jobs. my boss doesnt mind if i print a couple things here or there. i actually have stock of about 3 years worth of color laser printer refills. since my job is grant funded, last year at the end of the fiscal/contract year they bought massive quantities of the toner-stuff to spend down since it's a justifiable and defendable expense.

When I went through two sets of ink in a few months, I decided it was time for a laser printer. That'll be your break point.
