OTT expectation fails...
Eh...depends. Since I can't afford dual layers and they tend to fail on me, there are a few more steps involved (DVD Decrypter, then VOB Blanker and DVD Shrink to get rid of extraeneous crap and then to compress it to fit onto a single layer disc, if need be), so it depends on the situation.
Eh, yeah, sometimes I need DVD Shrink. I watch a lot of foreign films though that have no special features, so I can sometimes do direct copies.
That would be the Irish whisky, laddie! Good stuff. I believe it's also a favorite of CAG All-Star Myke Vermin.

never could get into that paddy-wagon mcwater.

it's bourbon all the way for me.
Its hard to find good duck in restaurant without paying $50+ for it.
You pay for your duck? I just get mine from the local lake.

Just throw a heavy rock at the duck's neck, and *SNAP*. You've just caught your dinner!

I had bad duck a few times in restaurants. No local grocery store carries it for me to make at home.

mmm, homemade tortillas.

I tried hitting a duck with a rock at the canal, it hit the canal pipe, richocheted off and hit some kid fishing with his dad. so YMMV on killing a duck with a heavy rock. :[

Hahaha! I used to drink Jack on the rocks with a twist of lemon when I was out. I picked up a bottle of some froo-froo top shelf single barrel Kentucky gold about a month ago and got absolutely ripped on half a bottle. I should've paid more attention to the proof. :)

So, yeah, I'm burned out on bourbon for a while. Jameson is like sweet, cooling water to me.
mmm, homemade tortillas.
mmm I'm jealous. All I can get around me is flour tortillas. When I get the chance I'm moving out of this state. Job, and food wise it sucks.

I would like to move closer to the ocean. I could get lots of new seafood

Perhaps someone should post a deal about this:

Free Duck at Your Local Body of Water-YMMV

"I was at my lake the other day, and I threw a rock at a duck. It made a delicous meal. There were two ducks left, and I'm not sure if this is nationwide, so YMMV. There was a kid who I almost hit with the rock, so hopefully you have a good lake to kill ducks at."

And the inevitable response:

"If anyone kills an extra duck, I will gladly buy it from you! PM me if you can get one, I'll even pay a little extra for gas, shipping, and labor!"

Any of you gang-stars play Xenosaga I or II on the PS-double? They're in my backlog, and I'm debating playing or trading. Any maniacal thoughts?

Nah man, you gotta upgrade to da PSTRIPLE!

You'd think that, but I live in a coastal town (that they forgot to close down, come armageddon, come, etc.) and there isn't much in the way of decent seafood down here. We've got Hank's which is superb but pricey, and a couple of greasy-but-decent dives, but everything else is seriously risking food poisoning.

anyone got good suggestions for making some home made hot wings. Basically the chicken. I wanted to make some tonight but when walking through the meat department and then checking the frozen section a the store I couldn't find any good small sized pieces of chicken to use. And everything else already had spices and sauces added to it.

Either way I still bought a bottle of franks red hot, that I plan on mixing with my dave's insane sauce I got.

I don't even hear that PS-Triple talk, dawg... what I'm tryin' to say is it's still all about the PS-Double. :D

I'm speaking more of local markets having fresh seafodd then eating at restaurants.
damn, butterbean kicking johnny knoxvilles ass = yeeeah.
Fun fact my nickname in middle school was Butterbean.

They most notable fresh seafood we have down here is local shrimp. There's dudes that sell it by the side of the road all over town.

Where would you be exactly?

Roadside shrimp doesn't sound safe.

Lies! You haven't been posting puppies here for years!

I think I'm going to call it a night now. Why does Adult Swim suck so much now?
Anything without a penis really. He admitted he was gay earlier. :)

Where would you be exactly?

Roadside shrimp doesn't sound safe.
apparently you've never been out of the country. in Spain and France roadside shrimp is the only way to go. when i was in san sebastian, a spanish-basque resort town on the northern Atlantic coast, every couple hundred feet there was a roadside seafood stand. shrimp, mussles and various other bite-sized morsels.
Where would you be exactly?

Charlestowne, South Cackalacky. Home of the Spoleto arts festival: http://www.spoletousa.org/ and the insane and insanely rich tourists that go along with it.

Anyway, the shrimp vendors keep 'em in iced coolers, so I guess it's modestly safe. There's also a fair amount of crabbin' that goes on around here.
Lies! You haven't been posting puppies here for years!
*practically* years. Maybe weeks or days. Who cares. I still mean it like it's been years.

but I like depp too.

roadside shrimp IS safe, well atleast from what I've had, there's a guy who rides his bike with a big ol cooler attached to it that carries all sorts of seafood, and it's MAGNIFICENT.
according to the neighbors, i make some pretty damn awesome wings. i might be willing to share my secret.
I don't really want to know your secret sauce or how you cook them.

Just where do you get the chicken from?!
