Ok, anything I said before wasn't true. The odds suck now. I played 28 more codes today and only won 7 times. Wait, 6 of those plays were for a 360 bundle actually. So tossing those out it was 7 out of 22 on tries for songs. That's a 32% win percentage if I'm doing my math right.
This particularly sucks as I opted to buy caps from ebay this time, having paid $13.14 for 27, plus 1 from an actual purchased bottle (it didn't win.) So tossing out the one from the bottle which I would have bought anyway, and just going on the ones I paid for on ebay, that means I paid $1.88 per 200 points=$2, plus 6 failed attempts at a 360 RB2 bundle which I could have opted not to try. Had I put those into songs I probably would have won 1 or 2 more, but who knows. So I still profited *if* the Wii points come back. We shall see - still a no go as of a few minutes ago.
EDIT: I'm wondering if being more patient and spreading the attempts out over the whole day would have produce better results. If they limit the number per hour, then this might be the case, but I don't know. I'm not a statistician.
