Pepsi's "Drink up, Rock out" promotion - Win DLC and Games! STARTS JUNE 2ND!
Ive officially entered half of the amount of allowed caps per person this morning to bring my grand total entered so far to 500 lol.

I didn't even know there was a limit.. so only 1000 caps huh... geez.

Yep from the rules- To enter a Code into your Account, follow the instructions on screen to enter the Code exactly as it appears and then click "Submit". Limit 1,000 Points per Account. Individuals who enter a Code into the Website will be referred to herein as "Participant".

i got about 16 unused song redemptions left and don't entirely want much that is left. I will use them but if theres anyone that has arcade game codes they don't want i'm open to some offers by pm's.

Isn't it a little early to be cashing out? There's still a month left in the promotion and, even though it's been ages since we've seen the track list updated, I'd like to think that the response on Twitter and on the Rock Band forums might help spur Pepsi and Harmonix to put more songs up.

Right now, I'm holding onto the codes I have in case something new shows up. If that doesn't happen, then I'll just use them all at the end of the promotion to finish up a few track packs, and pick whatever I'm interested in that is in the list.

I use up all my song tokens right away. I don't want there to be a fiasco where the website shuts down early and I'm screwed out of my songs. Holding on to any type of unused store credit is always risky.

im hoping theres something good in a update, but i bought most of the recent songs using live points before i found out it would update again. If they get the new pearl jam, up ill be happy but not really hoping for much more.

They really need to add Gorillaz or the Dropkick Murphys soon, I have 2 codes sitting collecting dust in my account that I need to get rid of before I end up buying stuff I don't really want out of boredom.

In NYC, the promotion is starting to die. I see yellow caps less frequently. That paired with the crappier odds... blah.

For a promotion that started off amazing, it fell flat at the end.

I agree. It's getting harder and harder in my area to find caps.
Also I noticed I went from a 75% or more chance of getting a song to a 25% chance of getting one. They really dropped the chance to win.

I've had to start buying pepsi now. The Mountain Dew Game Fuel promo is ending. I loved the blue one and it's harder to find. Im gonna have to get a 12-pack before its gone.

I have a code for Bankshot Billards 2 that I'd be willing to trade for some codes should you have extras. PM me if interested. I would only want like 8 codes for it.

8 codes for a bad game? Ouch. I wouldn't even offer 1...........

I have no idea why you people think they will update. Harmoix claimed at the beginning that the list would not be added to (a lie, I know, but still). They added the Green Day songs so they could be part of the video contest. The others: eh, I don't know. They, however, have not done an update (to my knowledge, at least) since the video contest ended, which I believe was July 31st, nor do I expect them too. They should, however, add more Wii points, being as that is a legitimate win. The contest is in the wind-down phase. I seriously doubt they would bother adding any at this point.

Just like the soda...

Back on track though, I seem to have gone from terrible luck to a bit of a hot streak. Not only that, but employees at two stores I frequent are saving me caps, and one of those stores just restocked cherry pepsi and thank the FSM, they have yellow caps on them.

Now that I've got enough points to get the rest of the DLC for the FF4 sequel, I'm contepmplating what to get next - probably gonna try to get the other 3 Strong Bad Games, then move on to Bust a Move.

I don't think they added Green Day just for the video contest; the other updates they've had to the track list added recently released songs too. Between the Twitter and the Rock Band forums, it sounds like there's been a lack of communication between Pepsi and Harmonix. Whether or not that translates to more songs is anyone's guess.

As for Wii points...given that there's a month left there will probably be more added, but I don't think they'll make it to the end of the promotion.

guess we will have to start looking forward to the red and orange caps next, starting 09/09/09 for the Mountain Dew "Green Label Gear" promotion. cant wait, except for the fact that it usually takes 4-6 weeks into the promotion before the caps start showing up at work. that part really sucks :booty: I seen there is already a thread for that promotion http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=234236

I just want to know if we have Avatar of the year awards, because, if so, frushie should win it. THAT is fucking old school. God I wish my 5200 controllers still worked (and yes, I know that's not from the 5200 version, but still, it was better).

i play at 8 am est every day and win about 4 in a row while waitng like 20 sec to a minute. You may want to start playing then. I think they a lot so many wins for ever hour.

I think something may happen today. The site has been slightly updated. The big prizes on the right has the rock band beatles set added to it but its not available to enter to win it yet. Im hoping that since they updated that today the song list or wii points will be updated today too.

yeah i noticed that TBRB thing as well, but i didn't see any updates in the song list that I noticed immediately (blink, foo, etc). My win rate seems to be hovering at about 60-65%, with streaks as long as 12 wins.

Is anyone having troubles connecting to the Wii Shop Channel? I entered 15 Wii point codes in then came back to enter 1 more and I can't even connect. It gives me error code 20588.
Does the bundle come with one guitar or two? My guitar is from GH3 and my drums are (broken) from Rock Band 1.
One. The Hofner bass. The drums are supposed to be slightly better than Rock Band 2 drums.
I'm saving my points for Beatles now... I really want that bundle. >_>
Me too. I think that unless Pepsi updates the list of songs we can download (to a point where I would need to try and play for more tokens), then I'm just going to enter all my codes for that bundle. I have ~20 unredeemed tokens left, and 10 codes just sitting in my account.

I'm only a little worried about the bundle being in the weekly drawing. That means only one bundle per week, right? And there's only two weeks left of this promotion..

If you go to the learn more tab, it says that they are giving out 200 a week.

*Note: 400 "The Beatles: Rock Band" bundles will be given away. The breakdown for each platform will be as follows: Xbox - 65, Wii - 87, and PS3 - 48 each week.
