i was very decived by u guys and i will not order from ur links again. i expected best service than this.,
lolz

I wonder how much this will drop the value of the original Persona 3 sealed with the artbook and cd. It sucks for those of us sitting on a sealed copy waiting to catch a quick buck on it cause you're basically holding onto a sealed paperweight.

It won't be a paperweight; the artbook and soundtrack will hold some value to it. Sealed copies will probably go for MSRP down from eBay's prices, and opened, complete copies will go for less. Disc-only copies will be impossible to sell at GS/EB unless they're $4.99.

People who've opened their copies may want to trade/sell their copies soon. Sealed copies will still have value, though that defeats the purpose of playing it. (Unless you keep it sealed and will play FES instead, like me.)
i bought from gamestop it only had cd and manuel.. thanx 4 postng ur false deals 2 try 2 pawn off s*** u dont want. i would not order from the link posted on this site again!
Which part of this info on the item page wasn't clear?
This is a preowned video game. It is guaranteed to work on your PlayStation 2 video game console and may not include a box, instruction manual or the special edition items.
It's guaranteed to work, and might not have the special order items, box or the manual. You ended up with a manual, which is better than a lot of games that come from there.

Not anyone's fault except your own if you failed basic literacy. Go bother someone else who cares.
So, um, anyone interested in Persona 3, complete with case and manual, no artbook or sountrack, for about $45ish shipped?
why don't you just return it to your local gamestop. You'll get all but shipping costs back. That's what I did when I got DDS2 in disc only same as Devil Summoner. No hassles!

the hell?
BK claimed it will release persona 3 along with fes, which was bullshit hence the double stack of shit whopper.

I plan on getting Persona 3 FES when it is released. At least now I don't have to open my sealed Persona 3 to play the game (and I was so close to doing so a couple of weeks ago).
BK claimed it will release persona 3 along with fes, which was bullshit hence the double stack of shit whopper.
No, I didn't say they would rerelease Persona 3 with Fes. I said that we would get the version of Fes that comes with the full Persona 3.

If they only released FES as an expansion, that would have only empowered hoarders and re-sellers. Even though it kind of screws over those who bought the game originally, it was definitely a wise choice (especially the price). Those who bought the original will still have an artbook and soundtrack that the FES only people won't get. I'm one of those people, and I'm not too pissed about it. If I had a disc only copy I would be though.

If you read all of that too, you'll know I'm not saying anything new. :)
I'm really enjoying laughing at all the hoarders who were holding these waiting to make a profit. They'll be lucky to break even now.
good.

Just got back from pre-ordering, totally worth it. :D

Anyone feeling like selling their Collector's Edition box, artbook, and soundtrack? Assuming FES doesn't come with those, it would be nice to put the FES case in with the rest of that stuff.
anyone that brought a copy at GS without the artbook or soundtrack should just return it.
I bought this game with the artbook and soundtrack for $29.24+tax at gamestop I used coupons +edge card. Is there anyway to just get a copy of FES episode.

I don't know why everyone is showing so much emotion (BS) against "hoarders"...

I brought TWO copies of P3 when it came out, I still haven't the time to play it yet, so both are sealed... Does that make me a hoarder? If a sealed copy of P3 had when up to $100+ on ebay, I'd have definitely sold one of my sealed copy - does that make me a fucken hoarder? WTF? I mean, I paid hard earned cash for my sealed games. If I could sell for a profit, why the fuck not? I'm also one of those "bastards" that found mint *spare* copies of Nocturne and DDS1 in GS for ~ $20 each (after B2G1F) and sold them for $100 each on ebay. Does that mean I am a Hoarder? Or did I save those awesome games for a deserving collector?

In the view point as a fan of Atlus, I did my part to support their games! To me (as a fan), buying their games at release is better support to Atlus than the fucken idoits who sits on the fence wishing for a fucken price drop, then whines when the stock runs low and prices starts to rise. If you are a fan, put in your fucken pre-order and you would never have to fork out big bucks on ebay for games!

In the view of a game collector, I've too paid upwards of $90+ for a single PS1 game, that's because when those games were out, I was in school, never even knew such awesome games existed. So now, I have to pay big to collect them, so what, that's the way it is. Good for those who had managed to keep those old games in mint condition and thank god they are willing to let them go for a price! For me, my most treasured games, like tactics ogre, ogre battle, brigandine, SaGa, etc., I'd never sell them - unless I KNOW I can replace them later and make a PROFIT... As an old fart would say "That's the way the cookie crumbles" - lol..

This new version of P3 does "screw" me over a little (not as much as the first re-release of Disgaea by Atlus), I'm a little pissed that Atlus decides to sell the new version with extras for only $30, but hey, it's another awesome new game to collect.. and lucky for those who holdout/missed out on the original P3...

I've already put in my TWO pre-orders for P3 FES, so am I fucken hoarding again?

PS: Sorry for the long runt, I'm usually not this angry, bad traffic does that to me somtimes..

I know hoarders, I have seen hoarders here posting.

YOU SIR are NOT A HOARDER! So relax, you are just another collector like the rest of us.

Here is an example of a hoarder - non game related.

Bubba TLS is doing a show in vegas. He released a limited 'meet and greet front row" special tickets, they sold out in minutes. Magically they are all up on ebay and stubhub for sale. Bubba TLS took note of this and has informed all the fans to NOT buy the ebay/stubhub tix as he will be avail for informal meet and greets at the casino as long as his staff get's their 'riders'

Hoarding is when people buy up ALL the sealed copies they can find and flip them on ebay. Buying 1-2 copies of a game you intend to play from a publisher like Atlus is not a big deal.

Hoarding scumbags do things like get jobs at gamestop and intentionally NOT SELL semi rare games to customers so they can buy them for themselves.

Yup, you're a hoarder. And ya, the people that whine about wanting a pricedrop that'll never happen, or won't buy something cuz it's $5 too expensive for their tastes, and bitch about it, suck.

You're a light hoarder, but, you still hoarding that one copy. Don't try to justify it, you're gonna do what you're gonna do, and trying to justify it to the internet is a waste of time.
BK claimed it will release persona 3 along with fes, which was bullshit hence the double stack of shit whopper.
How is it bullshit? They are releasing the full version of Persona 3: FES.

I haven't read the whole thread, don't have the time right now, so with that in mind...

Does any one know if I should just stop playing my copy til FES comes out? Or can I take my Persona3 Normal Version save and use it in FES somehow? Thanks for any input and sorry if this has been answered 20 times already in this thread.

That's what transfers.

Hoarders are the bastards that buy early and then wait to resell for profit. I wanted Disgaea 1 about a year and a half ago and it was $100+ on eBay. Thankfully NIS released another reprint and i got it for $40 from their site.
