Petition to release the ORIGINAL, unmodified Star Wars series on Bluray

Someone has beat me to the punch by starting a petition to have Disney release Blu-rays of the original, unmodified Star Wars trilogy. This is a cause that is dear to my heart.

I was surprised that it is currently VERY low in signatures; let's give it a run.

Disney could always undo the changes and re-release the set to generate more sales in a couple years. I know Lucas lost a sale from me once the changes were announced and I still don't own it. DVD set still works just fine.

This petition is useless considering Disney doesn't own the release rights to the original trilogy. 20th Century Fox still does.

If FOX actually still owns the rights with Lucas' hand no longer in the pie it could actually happen given Lucas likely stopped offering the unmodified trilogy so he wouldn't have to pay his ex-wife royalty rights.
