Phoenix Wright 3 on the way!!!

Drive By (Episode 7) is one of the funniest things I've seen on television. Up there with Arrested Development and Curb Your Enthusiasm, if you ask me.
 
I get the feeling that Phoenix Wright doesnt need any help as far as sales anymore.

With the reprint of the first one and the second one both costing $19.99 new now, I think I'll wait rather than pay $29.99 for it.
 
I got my Play-Asia copy yesterday, and I just finished Chapter 1-1. I'm loving it so far, tho it's a little disorienting to see Mia Fey as basically a Phoenix Wright with big boobs when all we've seen of her in the previous games is confident and all-knowing.
 
I wonder if we are going to get any pre-order bonuses - like the stylus for PW 2 or this special limited edition cover set for GS 3 @ e-capcom:

Major problem...

I pre-odrdered from e-capcom for the stylus and they SCREWED the order up royally. PW 2 came almost a month late with no apology and nothing but grief from customer service...

I am going to check out my GS in store tomorrow and see whats up...
 
Now I have to remember to put in a preorder for this and Dewy at GS for some plushy goodness. I have a feeling I'm not going to get them, but I'll try my luck.

I've been pretty good with preorder bonuses at GS, so I'll try my luck there. I want this so bad, so hopefully I don't get screwed over on this.
 
Dammit, now I MUST preorder this for the plush. Wish we knew how big it was.

Yeah, per the blog, it will likely take a few days before either site gets the pre-order bonus put up. I'm looking forward to this game--I skipped PW2, but the plushie may seal the deal for me on PW3.
 
The pre-order plush actually will make me get the US version this time. I got the JP version for part 2 and was considering doing the same for 3. (I enjoy having the strange looking titles in my collection)
 
FOR anyone who has skipped GS 2...PLEASE...go back and beat it. Case 4 is by far the best PW case ever (even including GS 3).

It is a pretty cheap game now, and after you play it and beat it you will understand 3 better and have more fun with it.

Edit: Does anyone have any Capcom shipping codes? GS is pretty unreliable with pre-order bonuses being "in-stock."

Right for all of the wrong reasons. T&T/GS3 is nothing short of amazing. You wouldn't want to go to JFA/GS2 after playing T&T/GS3. Case 5 is better than the entire second game, and I haven't even finished it yet!
 
Case 5 of T&T/GS3. Case 5 in AA is awesome too, but part of the reason it's awesome is it used the DS features to add to it's awesomeness. I'd rank the cases something like this:

Oh sweet, they added a DS-new case 5 to the third one as well? Awesome since I loved 1-5 and was sort of let down by 2 not having an addition.

No, it was in the gba release. It is still the best part of the best game ever.:D Also, case 4 is about the same as 3-1 in length, and it's in-court only. Still rocks.
 
That plushie looks cheap and cheesy, but I still want one! I think it's enough for me the get a US copy along with my import.

I'm nearing the end of the third case, and all the cases have been really great so far. I'm just loving the twists and the ridiculous characters in this game. I was disappointed with the second game (hated that circus case), but I still liked it, but this is definitely better than the second one so far.

And while I'm on the subject, anyone playing 3 get stuck here:
During case 2/3 after getting the CEO Card info from Larry and encountering Adrian's Psych-Locke about the Urn, I can't trigger Ron to show up at the Detention Center! What did I miss?

Get Ron to update me about the urn and I haven't gotten it back from Pearl. Seems Adrian wants proof that the urn is a fake. When I go to detention center, no one is there!

Had checked GameFaqs (naturally) and I just can't seem to trigger the above.
 
What about Larry? Doesn't he have a lock?

Also, you could check the guide for the GBA GS3. First half of the guide is Jap, second half is English.

I think quite a few people forget to:
Present Kane Bullard's profile to Gumshoe, then talk about him.
Here's a sort of checklist from the FAQs on what you should have done at that point:
-Talk to Maya
-Talk to Desiree
-Talk to Gumshoe, present Kane Bullard's profile, and talk about the new subject
-Talk to Larry, present the CEO Office buzzer, and talk about the new subject
-Break Larry's Psyche-Lock
-Talk to Adrian about all subjects to reveal her lock
-Talk to Ron

I guess the best thing to do is to go through each individual talk list and make sure that you talked about all subjects. If you find nothing new, then try presenting the appropriate items to the appropriate people to see if you missed something.

Is there a shipping code for Capcom?

Otherwise, can't see the extra $8 for the plush, unless I could unload it for much more. I'm in the middle of trying to rid myself of worthless crap, not bring in more. Though some would argue that's the point of getting rid of the old stuff. :)

Yes it was great. And I didn't even finish it.
(very mild endgame spoiler. Nothing I'd care about if it was spoiled to me)
I'm at the part where Pearl runs from court after it's all over. I save and turn it off to eat. When I come back, it says something along the lines of how the save is corrupted. Thankfully I backed up my save, but the last time I did that was at the beggining of the last day of court. :bomb::bomb::bomb: Now I get to play it twice. YAY. Thankfully gamefaqs can help.

Same here. It's usually when my trail turns cold that I take an extended break for the game. Plus, with all the dialogue, hitting A or tapping the screen sure does get old. It needs an auto mode.
 
Finished Gyakuten Saiban 3 today. Believe me, this game is worth every penny. I've even got it preordered, the English version. Gotta have me a Phoenix Plushie to squeeze and molest!
 
I preordered my copy of Trails and Tribulations with the plush online yesterday. I can't wait to play it and the plush will look cool on my desk next to Bender and Dwight.
Does anyone have the plush? His hair looks almost grey in the picture, which is pretty stupid since Phoenix has black hair.

*edit* I finished the game last night. The last case is one of the best in the series. Lots of clever twists and character development.
 
I'm playing PW2 in anticipatiion for number 3. How long would you say Case 4 is?
