playoffs
Okay, who just saw that Eagles TD?
Man, that was great. 2 forward passes on a single play. Nice. Boo to Moss just now, though.

I am a colts fan but I am gonna be the first to admit they SUCK! I have seen high school teams play better than this All the records don't mean a damn thing since they can not win win it counts. To top it off Indianapolis is going to build them a new dome for about 900 millon Now there is money well spent.

wow, youve seen high school teams play better than the colts? hey this is the pros not high school football. The players are smarter, bigger, faster and the coaches actaully make the players watch film. Dude you cant compare high school to pros, it just doesnt work that way

the 4th highest scoring offense in the history of nfl and they can not even score against a team with a wide recevier playing in defense and a beat up secondary? That is bad real bad. As they have done in past years they can not win win it counts.

My nephews school did all that. They always would watch films and do shit like that. Maybe that's why they were the best team in Michigan.

The weather is shit out there, you shouldn't have been expecting a super high scoring game.

Peyton Manning=Partiots' bitch
Thats what you get for running up the score on my boys

It'll be interesting to see what medichoker team will oppose the Patriots/Steelers in the Superbowl down here.

None of this is the fault of the Indy players. They actually played a pretty decent game. This is the fault of the person who designed the game plan - Tony Dungy.

Dungy is a fantastic regular season coach, but when it comes to the playoffs he loses his balls. That's why Tampa fired him - they'd go to the playoffs every year but lose because Dungy would screw it up. Instead of going deep quite a bit and really testing that New England secondary, Dungy saw 2 flakes of snow and went "oh crap! We better run the ball and throw a bunch of little bitch 3 yard passes!"

Being conservative never works in the playoffs, as the Chargers and Jets found out. Guess the Colts need to fire Dungy before they can get themselves into a Super Bowl.

his only problem is that he is a defensive coach, coaching an offensive centric team. I think within the next year, that defense will be better and they will have a better shot next year.

The loss of Ty Law and Richard Seymour really hurt us today, Manning torched us for 238 yards and 3 points. Their defense played us pretty tough, making our offense keep the ball for 37:43, wearing us down and giving Manning plenty of rest. And they held us to only 210 yards rushing.

Aside from Colts fans (no one is expected to pick against their own team), some of you fell in love with offense, fell in love with the big numbers, you picked against the Patriots, and they made you look completely stupid once again. Thank you. I love it.

I can't wait to hear why Pittsburgh is going to win next week. And I can't wait to hear how we cheated today and why we should have lost.

Also, there was a classic quote from Dan Marino today on the postgame show. An analyst compared Manning to Marino (who is sitting next to him), and Marino interjects, "Hey! I actually made it to a Superbowl."

manning is reminding me of qb's from the past like Kelly(at least amde it to the bowl),elway just to name a couple they where great but just could not seem to finish the job

I think the question going forward is if the Eagles will choke thier unprecidented 4th Championship away. Unlikely, but anything could happen.
Um, Pitts D > Pats D.

And Pitts has beat NE once. The colts will never beat NE. Ever.

:(
Pats offense > Pissburgh's offense by a lot.

You could make the argument that Pittsburgh's defense is better based on numbers, but I wouldn't agree. But neither one is far superior to the other, they're both good. But, Roethlisberger did everything he could to lose that game last week, but he couldn't beat Pennington and Brien at their choking ability.

Well one team was far superior than the other during their first matchup this year and it wasn't the Pats.

check Ben Roethlisberger in his last couple of games as opposed to his initial games. He has become a completely different, QB, for the worse.

Also Tom Brady just does not lose once he gets to the playoffs.

But as they say, that was the regular season. This is the playoffs. The regular season doesn't matter anymore. I think the Pats will win against the Steelers, but that's cause I'm a fan of the Pats. But come on...Big Ben proved himself to be a rookie last game. If it wasn't for Doug Brien sucking ass, we'd be talking Pats/Jets. I still stand by my statement that you will not win the Super Bowl with a rookie QB.

Pats Vs. Steelers is gonna be one hell of a game
But i still think the Steelers can pull it off.

And If indy is really getting a new stadium they shouldnt get a dome.

Yes we are getting a new dome it will have a retractable room and hold about 67,000 it is a done deal supposed to start this spring building gona tear down old dome and make a new convention center there

Of course he'll get worse statisically because he's still learning while teams are treating him like a serious threat. I think last game for his first playoff game he did fine. Sure he through a very costly interception but he's young and throwing the ball alot more now so it'll happen. Nevertheless he lead them on a drive down the field in the 4th quater to tie the game.

I'm not saying Pittsburgh is a lock by any means, but people seem so quick to count them out as a contendeer based one this week's games.

The Patriots Offense is better than the Steelers by a lot? They have a more stable passing game, but the Steelers running game is far superior. Corey Dillon may have been the third leading rusher in the league, but the Steelers overall had more yards rushing and they have 2 top tier running backs. When it gets late in the game you have either a fresh Staley or Bettis. Couple that in with the fact that the Steelers receiving corps is superior to the Patriots crew and all it really comes down to is Roethlisberger. If he can just keep the mistakes down and have just an average game the defense can take care of the rest. "Pissburgh" is a good name for a Patriots fan to call the city of course since i'm sure many Patriots fans did so in their pants on October 31st.

Corey Dillon did not play in the regular season matchup so the Steelers can't just load up and blitz them on every down. If Big Ben doesn't play the best game of his young NFL career, the Steelers will not escape again.
I think the Pats win by 10+ next week.

Yeah but the Steelers a the best rush defense unlike the colts, dillon wont run all over th steelers like he did to the colts.

But if Ben has a good game and our special teams dont screw up again i think we can win.

The Patriots managed to rush for 5 total yards against the Steelers with a NFL level running back even if it wasn't Dillon. You could put Tom Brady in as your running back and get more than 5 yards in a game normally. Corey Dillon obviously will get more than 5 yards, but let's not forget he's not exactly a mystery to the Steelers. He played his entire career until this year in their division. The entire thing is going to come down to Big Ben, if he can get through the game with no more than one turnover I think the Steelers pull it out.

The thing is with a viable running game the Pats will make the Steelers worry about Dillon. When they're worried about Dillion, it makes passing easier.

By the way, going on numbers alone, Steelers Defense is number one, and The Pats are #2.

Low scoring game, chaps.

Don't count on it. We all expected a shootout today.

And whoever said Colts shouldn't get a dome. LOL, yeah, get rid of the thing they play best in.

Being a Colts fan in NY after losing sucks so much, it's only cushioned by mutual hate for NE and crappiness of the NY teams.

Yeah pretty much the only sure thing in the NFL is that Michael Vick is going to be treated like god by the announcers every Sunday. Outside of that anything can happen, like for instance the Dolphins beating a certain team considered to be a juggernaut  .

I live in Boston and I love the Pats but they are by no means a juggernaut.

They are very beatable if they are not prepared or focused.

They learned their lesson.

I got to say that was enjoyable. All of the people who picked the Colts didn't have respect for history of the matchup and history has a way of repeating itself. This Steelers game will be interesting to see with Corey running in this one. And who knows three years ago the pats went through pittsburgh to go to the super bowl maybe history repeats itself again?

No, they're not beatable. They have Bill Bellicheck.

Yeah, whooo that history! Like how no 8-8 team had ever gone to the playoffs and won a game. Or how no team had ever beaten two undefeated teams back-to-back in the regular season. Or how the Packers are untouchable at Lambeau. WHOO HISTORY!

havent been watching much of the playoffs sinse the Giants had a miserable season, but i will watch the NFC and AFC championship games and of coure the Super Bowl.

The Patriots hold the "best" offense to 3 points.
The Patriots score 41 points on the "best" defense.

I don't know why you persist in doubting the Patriots. Are they not flashy enough? Do they not have enough starpower? Maybe they're just too boring for you, all they do is win.

Though, I did enjoy hearing about how the Colts would tear up our secondary, and how the Steelers would shut us down. And I can't wait to hear how the Eagles are going to beat us.

I especially can't wait to hear how we cheated, or how we're frauds, or how we didn't deserve to win. Maybe they'll say that the Colts and Steelers were cupcake teams. I wonder what rules they'll change next year.

I totally agree. Seam's like the patriots will never get any respect.

Well nice to see the Steelers were exposed today as the worst 10+ win team in recent NFL history.

The Superbowl should be a really good one. I believe if we could find some pre-season predictions this horse has been campaigning New England vs Philadelphia since the pre-season. Of course so has about 80% of the rest of the free world.
