Navigate between dual timelines and shape both narratives – in 1995 and 2022 – with each offering a piece of the larger puzzle: the life-changing secrets they uncovered back then and why they’re reuniting now, after all these years. Together, in this place, they’re forced to try and remember clearly the fateful memories that have eluded them for the past 27 years. The first episode of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage arrives February 18, with the second episode arriving as part of PlayStation Plus Game Catalog’s April lineup on April 15.

Control a variety of next-generation military land and air craft including Stealth Fighters, Battle Tanks and Armored Assault Vehicles across 20 explosive missions. Experience Dropship: United Peace Force originally released on PS2, enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters.

So before we dig into February’s Game Catalog releases, we’ll touch on two unique indie titles inbound for Game Catalog – Blue Prince, launching day one into Game Catalog this Spring, and Abiotic Factor, available in Game Catalog when it launches this Summer.

Blue Prince is a genre-bending architectural adventure. Every door is a new decision as you build out a sprawling manor, with 45 shifting rooms adding layers of strategy, puzzles, and exploration.

Abiotic Factor is a six-player survival crafting game from Playstack and Deep Field Games. Stranded miles beneath the surface, you and a team of scientists must craft ingenious gear and traps to outwit your enemies and make this bizarre underground complex your new home.

Alongside these two new games, we also confirmed a trio of FromSoftware mecha action titles blast onto PlayStation Plus Premium later this year. The first three Armored Core titles from the original PlayStation – Armored Core, Armored Core Project Phantasma, and Armored Core Master of Arena – launch soon.

That’s plenty packed in to the first half of 2025. But you haven’t long to wait for new games: on February 18, as part of Game Catalog’s February lineup, you can enjoy Don’t Nod’s nostalgic journey through 90’s Michigan in the form of the first instalment of episodic narrative adventure Lost Records: Bloom & Rage – Tape 1. Tape 2 of the story launches into Game Catalog as part of April’s lineup on April 15.

State of play was okay for me. Some of the games looked cool but no mention of PS Premium or games launching Day 1 for PS Premium. No Resistance Trilogy(I will keep trying to will that into existence). No PSVR2 games shown other than that cool looking Midnight clay game but the VR mode wasn't shown. Maybe we will get a SOP just for PSVR2.

No $10 upgrade option for Days Gone 'Remastered' if you have the 'free' version.

Wow, lots of games... but nothing getting me all that excited except for the new Onimusha game... which is odd because I never cared for the OG games (mainly because I could never handle tank controls). Saros looks kinda cool.

Days Gone Remaster is... a little head scratching.

I haven't gotten around to Jedi Survivor yet, so the $10 copy I got from BJs might have been a waste. Although, I don't have to try to rush through Ragnarok to get to it or worry about it going away, so I'm not too mad.

A state of play anywhere. What would shock me at this stage is a presser that doesn't announce another unnecessary remaster.

The Midnight Walk does have my attention though. Looks like I'll need to start beefing up my Steam library as devs stop developing for Xbox OS.

Thank you for linking so at least I can read the info. Are twitter links still allowed here? Reddit had A pretty site wide ban on it recently.

I’m shocked astrobot is getting a PS5 Pro update now when the spotlight is over on the game. I’m about to finish it tonight and truthfully I cannot wait to be done with it. Way past the burnout point.

Na you'll play it one day, I bought a copy of deathloop couple years ago for $5 and still haven't played it but I'll get to eventually. Now if you paid $20 or higher then yes.

I take it the $10 upgrade for Days Gone doesn't show up until launch? I had the free version installed but also found I had a disk inside my steelbook, so I uninstalled the free one and it still shows $49.99. Is the $10 showing for anyone yet?

Possibly one of the most ehhhh State of Plays I've seen. Onimusha 2 looks good enough, but everything else is a whatever. I'm not a huge fan of soulslikes and there are plenty of those coming.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii demo is live:

Showed up for me, got it around 10 30am PST but I owned the ps4 digital version

Remember a week ago when you asked the same exact question and this entire thread went to hell? Why ask again?

Actually did forget it was this particular thread.

On an on topic query, what’s with PS stars and going backwards? I was a level 3, almost level 4. Now I’m halfway through level 2 and being warned I could down down to level 1. It seems like they’re forcing you to buy digital to maintain the program.

It 'resets' annually, but the way it resets is a little confusing.

From their FAQ: "Once you attain a status level, your status level is valid for the remainder of the calendar year plus 13 months. For example, if a member earned status Level 2 in October 2022, their Level 2 status would remain valid through that current calendar year and continue for the next 13 months until January 31, 2024. "

Level 1Entry level
Level 2Purchase one Full Game from PlayStation Store and earn one Rare and Above Trophy.
Level 3Purchase two Full Games from PlayStation Store and earn 32 Rare And Above Trophies.
Level 4Purchase four Full Games from PlayStation Store and earn 128 Rare And Above Trophies.

If you have let your PlayStation+ lapse, you may have a discounted Extra or Premium offer through the 24th. Both tiers are showing up as 99.99 for me (I let it lapse in November). No discount on essential.

Nice! It’s showing up for me, I don’t think I ever had the premium tier before so I guess it’s time to give it a shot.

I’m only seeing the offer for Premium but obviously for the same price I won’t worry about Extra tier. I don’t believe it to be targeted at only those with lapsed subscriptions (I first saw a message about it on an PSN account that has never had PS+) and it’s nice not having to wait until Black Friday for a deal. Perfect use of those “$100 for $90“ PSN codes from Costco.

PS: Seems to be roughly equivalent to the Lunar New Year deal some regions were getting a couple weeks ago.

Damn. I was set to expire early Feb but took the BF 30% off ($112). Could've saved a bit more.

p.s. funny, I did get 1,120 star pts for it

$23.xx to upgrade the remaining 162 days on my base sub... eh.

I barely have time to game these days. I'd love to have access to some of the classics, just to fire them up every now and then but not for the prices they want.

My essential sub expires next week but I don't play online any more and never play the free PS Plus games. I only bought PS Plus because there were easy to find discounts online year-round or guaranteed during Black Friday to make the cost reasonable and I used to play FIFA PRO CLUBS heavily. Also, I used to only play on Playstation exclusively and didn't own any other consoles so the PS Plus discounts on games were more worthwhile. Now, I have pretty much all the gaming systems including a Steam Deck. I find that I only use the PS5 for PS-exclusives or cinematic-style games that benefit from the extra horsepower of the console. The better investment for multiplatform games is the Steam Deck with its free cloud saves and free online play. Also, there is more security going forward that my library will be playable on future hardware if I buy on PC compared to console digital/physical ecosystems.

no cheaper PS+.

just: here's a $99 version of premium that costs us nothing more.

a deal for people...who were already paying for a year of Premium.

It's just an expensive flash sale to get people to buy something they weren't otherwise going to buy. "Here have a year of service for $100." Oooooh, thanks.

Precisely. Everything you just said. but specifically that last part.

The next couple of years is just going to be more and more people coming to this realization. My concern is that I don't think the major players realize the position they're in. They're so laser focused on squeezing those subscription and service profits. It's all they care about.

Then suddenly the next day you are Bungie or Ubisoft and there's no coming back. It didn't happen overnight. It was years of poor service, that everyone wanted to pretend was not happening. You spent a few years squandering entire decades of brand name quality and loyalty that you've built up.

All this talk about console vs PC lately and I’m over here trying to decide PS plus vs a second Quest 3. Only thing I need plus for is online multiplayer for Walkabout Mini Golf. I’ve been paying for plus for forever and almost never play online. Recently my buddy and I both bought a Q3 and we play Walkabout together with my girlfriend pretty regularly now. She plays on my PS5 as me. So when my plus expires on Feb 28 do I renew, or put that $80 towards a second Quest where I don’t have to pay for multiplayer? Can’t even take advantage of the sale on plus because mine goes past the sale date
