Playstation Rewards program is back!
You know why the prizes suck? Because no one tries so why should sony.
This is a Marketing based program and the prizes are to get the word out there. This is proof enough as from a strictly objective POV... Whats different between the following?

Sony's way

Post your favorite song in ___
Post which character looks like another character
Post your favorite in the series

vs

Hi and Hey (though I think people like this should be booted.)
Anyone getting uncharted 3?
etc

Both methods lead to pointless spam and require minimal/no effort.

if people where not doing what sony wants out of us then we would not be in the program anymore. the program is for sony to get feed back from us so its not our fault the prizes suck

I agree 100%. Some of us make an effort to start up actual conversations, but the way this whole thing is set up, there is no basis for forming an actual community. Posts/threads are way too difficult to keep track of and their conversation ideas are simplistic and uninteresting (I don't give a shit what song people listen to when they play Ape Escape, do you?). The questions provided each week (along with the polls) are a big part of why I think this is no more than just one big, elaborate focus group.

your missing the point of the program which is for sony to get info out of us with the surveys and other survey info they get from us when we apply for a housparty thing.
they also leave us info about games and feature for the ps3 on the houseparty website. thats all that matters to them

they dont care about our topics because all the above is what there after
Hope 1 of the prizes next month is the inFamous 2 dlc.
That would be awesome! I finished infamous 2 during the summer, and loved it. Is that dlc out yet?

The Festival of Blood DLC comes out Oct 25 so it's still a bit before it is released.
finished up my points for the month.
I hope very few of you tried this month.
I would like Madden :)
i lol but i clearly understand what you mean because it will suck if im not a winner unless the dl codes are for a nfl ticket on psn
Does anybody else have it consistently time out when they try to connect to the announcements page and such?
Yep! Still cannot open "conversation" pages.
I sent an email to [email protected] to let them know.

Just finished my points for the month. Off to play some Motorstorm! I can't stop playing that game as of late. Hopefully I'll win Madden even though I have it for the X360 already. Good luck, and I can't wait to see what next month prize is.
If you missed out on some points this month, new challenges are up for the last 5 days.
I guess I'll do them, and get the points. Maybe I'll increase my chances! Lol

I'm one less participant...nothing this month is worth it for me so I abstained, good luck to whoever wins, and hope you actually want the game and aren't just going to flip it
Did any CAGs get accepted to the Everybody Dance party?
I did, surprisingly. First time accepted to a party I actually applied for.

Nice, after reading some of the comments on the Party Page I had a feeling only soccer moms were getting accepted.

Just got accepted to the Everybody Dance party one. Had me send 7 emails to people before I was guaranteed a spot (I just sent the emails to myself :p).

Also, I too was rejected.
Thanks.
Got into the dance party after sending out 7 invites. Hate dancing but love free stuff, so I don't know how excited I should be. lol
Pretty much the same for me. I would never consider buying this on my own; but for free it's pretty cool. I have people over all the time, and it seems like a game that would be nice for those random gatherings.

And if nobody ends up liking it, at least I have 18 glitter tubes!

How'd you send out invites?

Is it too late to invite people to the party? I already got the rejection e-mail. I didn't know about that... I would have done it... ugh.
How'd you send out invites?
There's an email that was sent to complete a couple of steps to be accepted.

1. Click on email link and login to House Party
2. Type 7 emails you want to send invites to

After doing this it said I was accepted. It was also timed, so once you clicked on the link there was a 30 min countdown to send out the invites which only take like a total of 2 minutes.

Yeah I know what you mean. I've never seen that link..I'll try it for the next one...

I got accepted as well. I've been rejected from every other house party and when I finally get accepted, it's the one that I don't care about. I'm still bitter about the board game party. Oh well. Maybe I'll luck out and get into the Spyro party.

No, you were already rejected. People who are selected have to invite people (to "officially" set up their party) and that confirms their party. You can't invite people beforehand, it's just a finalizing step if you were already picked.
I got in ;) my girl and i love to dance, so it's awesome. lol
we have ddr and Move already so this will be neat.
The survey thing said it's for the Wii version of the game.

Yeah, as stated above, it's for the Wii. That's why the application states that a Wii is required and then asks if you have one.

Ignore me.

There's no Wii version of Everybody Dance. It's a sony exclusive. You must be talking about the Zumba party.

I was wondering the same thing. I know Zumba is on the Kinect though. Amazon had it for $30 last week or so.
