PP Crackdown 360 $19.99 and some other upcoming deals at Hastings

Sorry if this is a repost! I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I got a flyer from Hastings today with some upcoming deals. The big one that stood out to me was Pre-Played Crackdown for 360 will be $19.99 next week (5/13-5/19).

Also, it says that CARS 360 (new version I believe) will be $19.99 the following week (5/19-5/26). Nice deal I believe for anyone with kids.

There were some other random deals in the flyer including a $10 off coupon for any game $29.99 and higher and also a coupon for a free energy drink and king size snickers bar with any game rental.

The only other thing that really stood out to me on the flyer was a "select 2 video games for $9.99" the week of 5/19-5/26. They show MGS3 and GUN PS2 in the ad and it says "more games to choose from"

I'll scout my Hastings this week and see how many copies they have and try to see if I can pick some up for some CAGs. They had that Lego Star Wars 360 deal a couple of months ago for $14.99. I got it for $9.99 with the $5 off coupon at the time. Hastings can really be golden sometimes!

That would be awesome! All i have to say is that northern new york sucks ass...no stores around here other than walmart :|

Damn, just noticed your location...I graduated from SUNY Potsdam. I remember having to drive to Massena if I wanted anything and even then there wasn't much to choose from!

Wow...so you know what its like to live in this hell-hole :p Yeah, All i have is EB (which is crap) and Wal-Mart. Potsdam is such a disappointment, especially considering that there are 4 colleges within 15 minutes...

never heard of hastings but its a great deal, now to find out if there is one anywhere in the VA
 
Used only right? I have yet to see a trade-in of Crackdown at any of my local stores since people are holding onto it for the H3 beta, so I'm not sure how available this will really be.

The $5 off coupon was on their game website around the time of their $14.99 Lego Star Wars 360 deal making it $9.99. It's now long gone:cry:

Like I said earlier, I'll check my local Hastings later in the week to see if they have extra copies and I'll PM some CAGs who've posted in this thread....

Yeah, this likely will be very YMMV, but I do know my local Hastings definitely has one or more....
 
Wow, thats a great deal for Crackdown...too bad there's no Hastings in CA...only one I know was in Boise...I miss my traveling job.

If you don't care about the Halo 3 beta, I'm sure the price will drop quickly thereafter as copies flood the market. It's sold over 900,000 copies already.
 
I dunno, that Halo 3 beta looks quite night, and considering it will last for probably at least a month, thats some good gaming to be had :)
 
I gots me a plan.. i'll grab a copy or two, depends on how much money I have.. and, of course, if any are in stock.

Where did you get this ad? I've gotten similar ones in the mail, but I haven't gotten this.

I could use a few of those $10-off $30 coupons!

They've never had Wii's at my Hasting's and yet they have the promo image of a woman playing Wii on that page. The only Wii-related game on the page is Metal Slug, which does not play that way. Do you think it's some kind of indication that they are finally going to carry the Wii this week? I mean, they've had the games and the 3rd party accessories, but the first-party stuff and the console itself have been absent this whole time.

From what my friends have said, Crackdown is fun to go back an play once you beat the game...but hopefully any extra copies from this sale (this thread) will go to those who posted first ;)

All Hastings stores got a shipment of Wiis this past week. My local one had one on the shelf.

I'm signed up at PlayHastings.com and they send me a flyer like this every so-often. My Hastings usually has a lot of used copies, so I'll see what I can pick up.

I was class of 98. I moved down to Texas right after I graduated and have lived down here for about 9 years now. I miss the beauty, but not those harsh winters:D
 
I'll definitely be over there for Crackdown at $19.99. I manage to snag Saints Row last time (I wish I got Lego Star Wars 360 or the other games however).

The $10 off coupon sounds GREAT.....there's one or two games that I wouldn't mind getting with that.

Halo 3 beta lasts 3 weeks, May 16 - June 6.

I'd definitely consider offering up my complete copy of crackdown after the beta's over, although I'm having fun with crackdown currently and the DLC that hits today should also be pretty fun according to the buzz.

Damn, I went to my local Hastings today and they only had one used copy (could have swore they had more the other day). I'll be lucky if I get that one! Unless, they have an influx of used copies this week, I likely won't be able to hook anyone up....sorry guys:cry:
