hey Markman, is Capcom ever gonna make a Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 3? They stopped right as they were getting to the CPS 2 games :(

I will pay them money for CPS 2 games.

Namco Bandai held a special press conference yesterday (just a few days before Tokyo Game Show), where they went over new and upcoming titles and other special announcements. One of the announcements was that Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion will be heading to the PLAYSTATION 3 (no word when) and will have MORE content than the arcade version (big surprise!)… IGN was at the event and mentioned in their latest podcast that the PS3 will NOT be getting the regular version of Tekken 6, which was released late 2007 in arcades. More news as we get it!
 
Thank fucking God. I'd really hate to buy a game knowing there's already a better version of it out there. Thanks for the heads up, Markmayng.

I'm serious guys, Ima try and play Tekken for real this time!
 
Very nice, glad my worry about a DLC expansion for Bloodline Rebellion was wrong. Now we just need to know when ... WHEN?!
 
That's great that we'll see BR on the PS3 instead of the regular version. Good move on Namco's part. Now if we can just get it on the 360.

gato is top but oswald and kula are not

oswald has great supers and a fuckING BEAST LEADER but thats what make him werak because you already want Gado as you leader to have him at his best, and also kula is great becasue of her comboss but they are easily avoided so dont be fooled!
but alas gado is not the best, i forget his name but its the last guy on ash crimson team, not ash and not the punchy guy but the other one! he's the best!
 
I fuckin' love playing as Oswald. Dude has some fucking gross combos. And yeah, that Leader attack is easily the coolest in the game, and does mad damage.

uhm... isn't the other guy in their team oswald? I don't remember but I think it is....

My suggestion is to have Oswald first, random character you like (Kyo or K' for me), and Kula last as leader since you can combo into her leader move and its super fast.

I don't use Gato but I messed around with him one day and he's really evil.


Also! Get used to linking Oswalds specials and combos, since like EVERYTHING he does is comboable into something else.

A decent starter combo for him is something like jump-in HP, standing HP (or 2 LP's, or LP to diag down LP), dbp(2hit), dfp(1hit), dfk(think HK doesn't combo on third hit, don'tremember) which launched them and you can finish it off with either another dfp or the dfknockback.

df = down forward (ie: hadouken) and db = well you should figure this out

BREAKING NEWS!!! Every fighter from the poll Capcom did a few months ago asking "who do you want in SFIV" will, in fact, be in Street fighter IV. That includes Sakura, Dan, Ibuki, Hugo and The New Challengers, all in Street Fighter IV when it hits the 360/PS3. Confirmed via Famitsu by way of SRK's The Shift.

Why does it still baffle me that the general gaming public thinks Tekken 5 DR on PS3 is a port of the PSPs Tekken Dark Resurrection...?

even the logic behind it makes no sense.
 
KoFXI Knowledge:

Gato, Oswald and Kula are top tier. The best character in the game is probably Oswald, but Gato can make a mean case for that. Out of the 3 tops, Kula is the worst. She is easier to fight against and more predictable than the other two. By that I mean she is more 1-dimensional than Gato / Oswald. On Gato, I do prefer him as my leader because to get the most out of him you do need him to be your leader, and he is my best character. Actually when I play competitively I don't pick Oswald, but that is just me. My team is Kula / Gato (L) / Maxima.

The game does have alot of other fun characters to play as, though. Duck King has some awesome combos, Iori is always fun if you're not a huge KoF nerd. Basically, just about everyone is a viable option. Fighting the computer, tiers aren't really a factor. I'd say you probably wouldn't even notice which character is better / the best.

Almost any character you pick us guys on the board should be able to help you out, so just go to town and let us know the results.

To summarize: Pick whoever you want.

I think you're thinking of '03, not XI, when Duo Lon was on Ash Crimson's team and he was absolutely dominant. He was nerfed for XI and moved teams.

My partial thing I'm happy about is Hugo since it finally confirms a Final Fight character... plus, Hugo = Poison, and I'm a Poison fan >_<

here's hoping Guy or Rolento is in it.

My KoF11 team: Shen, Oswald (L), Duck King/the bitch with the yo-yos/Ryo/Rugal's Kid. I can't really ever decide on a third character to use.

Right now I'm playing with Iori, Kyo, and Tizoc in KoF11.

Just mashing special moves at this point, but I'm having fun. Game rapes your thumb though.
 
Man, I'm so glad they're adding Sakura, Hugo, Ibuki and all them others. Just because they were like... the best characters that SFA/SF3 had to offer.

I cannot freakin' wait for the home release of SF IV :(

SF IV, Bionic Commando, and RE5 = Capcom Tower of Power. They should just release all of them on the same day and see what happens. The world would fuckin' end, because people would realize that such a day cannot be improved upon.
