PS HOME Free Items / Clothes / Freebies Wiki

Just hit level 40 in Aurora. Really trying to figure out why I keep coming back. I have a 'don't spend any money on PS Home policy' so I only have the silver goggles. Not sure I want to keep working at going up levels to get the other free stuff. What are other people doing for Aurora?

I'm doing the exact same thing as you and I'm at level 41.

The Conspiracy stuff has been around for a while, but for some reason I always had trouble getting it to work properly. Anyways, there are three free tutorials and you can get a prize for each one of them. It's a pair of goggles, a shirt, and a briefcase to carry around. I finally snagged those last night.

I got the goggles and briefcase but sould never get the shirt cuz it was glitching too badly, could you please tell me which tutorial gives you the shirt?

Also I'd like to inform everyone about the rewards/freebies (that I know of) for this weeks NA update.

Of couse there will be Granzella rewards (as seen in Japan)

"Lockwood will be releasing their Showcase public space this week! Visit “Caramel” in the Central Plaza this week to receive a Lockwood Emote reward, available for a limited time only. Afterwards, head over to the Showcase Lobby and pick up five limited-time rewards!"

"Head to the PlayStation Home Community Theater this Thursday to receive a special reward to help commemorate the end of Summer (we think it will pair nicely with your Granzella rewards)"

That's all I know of so far

EU: This started in last weeks update, but as part of the Kasabian event in home square if enough people (don't know number) sign up for the Music Unlimited (under Music on the XMB) 30 day free trial to get access to the digitally exclusive Kasabian live album from 19th - 25th of September PS Home EU will give the community a free reward, check back at the space on 26th of September to see if we made it!

You get a new EMOTE in the Central PLAZA (Lockwood EMOTE) Looks cool.
Also Go to Granzella Island and you get another tattered shirt and ripped jeans.
The TREE in the community theater #10 take approx 15 mins to get after you arrive.

I got a shopping bag at the Showcase Lobby. That is a cool item too bad it doesn't look like the PSN shopping bags that would be cool.. (I only received 1 item in the lobby). Did anyone get something more?

i only got the shopping bag as well ... but then again i didnt stick around either. the traffic in that space was killing me, causing my PS3 to freeze before i had a chance to explore a bit. ill just wait till the traffic eases up before going back there.

We get one item each day until the big space opens up or something, except that would be 7 rewards, not 5.

Edit: Nevermind. I got ninja'd. No, I don't type that slow, I was just on this page checking off all the rewards and I didn't refresh before I posted.

The Granzella Island also has the underwater item hunt like Irem seaside of memories used to have. The items appear new. So far I got a seaweed-covered head and a finger pinched by a crab. Both times the item was difficult to collect because it was right at the shore and my head was sticking out of the water so I couldn't really see the shiny spot. Exiting the space and re-entering seems to reset the time counter.

Edit: Just got the Agate ring as well. Looks like this page is pretty accurate for what you 'can' find:

Didn't really wanna be this guy, but zerbe, you seem to be the one ripping people off. Where are the codes you owe me, been well over the time you said. *sigh* should have known better than to try and be nice to some people.... Guess I need to go see about making a report on you.

Just set up my Home account and have been looting for as much free stuff as I can get. Got the Yakuza 3 T-shirt and a bunch of Irem (festival), Konami's penthouse and Namco (played Dig Dug and Pacman) stuff.

Also, got most of the stuff in the original post for North America. Didn't get the coded stuff though and didn't find the Patapon stuff.

Still treasure hunting, think I ran into Shipwreck on the Japan theater expo place, forgot what the title was. Saw Final Fantasy XIII -2's and Ico/Shadow of the Colossus trailers. Got a Ico stick and a horned hat.

Irem has been the most generous so far. Got a Hammerin' Hero statue, an R-type looking ship, and a whole bunch of other stuff I don't really recognize from that company. Got a statue of Pyramid Head and I think a Gradius ship from Konami. Went to the Mall and got a bunch of T-shirts.

Thanks for this thread. Might look for more T-shirts (most of the clothing I found) and other free stuff. All the good is nice, but I can't find myself paying for them.

Missed many rewards that were available for the last few months. So I got some questions, is it still possible to get some of them? And is it still possible to get the PlayStation Move outfits?

If you can find 3 people around here to help you, the move outfits can still be had. Ping me tonight. Look around and maybe you can find a couple more people in this thread willing to help. (You need 4 total.)
I've seen a fullbody-like outfit that was dark to the point of nearly being black possibly, but I could not tell if it was an "ALIEN" outfit from the movies, which people would buy, or if it's a rewards, or........(yea, i like run-on sentences)

Can someone please clarify this for me? I'd really love to have that outfit.
The Alien and Predator costumes were a limited time offer promotion last year.

I have yet to even visit that space. How long does each tutorial last?

The reward is a "Kasabian Guitar" which is a F/M black sweatshirt with a B&W electric guitar strapped to the back. It is similar to the Guitar Hero T-shirt. If you have not been to this space before, you'll also get a "Kasabian Event Reward Tee" which is a F/M black T-shirt with KASABIAN printed in white on the front of it.

To get it just go to the Kasabian Event Space (either through the portal in Home Square, or from the Nav menu if saved as a fav or if a friend is there) and it will be given to you automatically, even if you never signed up for the free trial.

I have no idea how long these rewards or this space will be made available, so if anyone is interested they might want to go there soon.

I already have all the move outfits, but if I'm online and available, I'll be happy to help out.

BTW: Just a reminder to anyone who is still trying to collect rewards from the IREM spaces, you only have a couple more days before they remove all of the IREM spaces.

The Conspiracy tutorials are quick, like 1 min each.

Thanks, I'll check them out next time I'm in home.

Regarding new freebies, the Loot store in EU Home has added a new category "Loot Industries Office" and one of the items is free, the Red Stapler.

Fans of the modern cult classic film "Office Space" will immediately get the reference. Those that are not, might want to Google it.

No word on if or when this and the other items from that section will be added to the Loot stores in other regions.

A couple more reminders:

It is rumored that the Aquarium space in JP Home will end soon (sometime in October). The rewards there are quite impressive. If you manage to collect all 30 replica trophies (life size versions of the fish that can be seen in the aquarium - even the whale shark), you'll then get a shirt which if you wear it in the space, it will add four rare fish into the tank.

For NA users, in addition to the two different codes for registering at RatchetAndClank.com and for watching the trailer that plays on the main page, they have also announced that if they get 30,000 registrants they will give away another 4 exclusive PSN avatars, and a dynamic theme.

Keep in mind, while you can get as many codes as you like by using stealth mode/private browsing, for the last code, it may get distributed via email, so if it is something you want, I suggest you register using an email address that you have access to.

Just as a reminder, here is what you get for the codes:

Registering = 4 Hats for Home + 4 PSN Avatars + 1 Static Theme
Watching Video = 4 Shirts for Home + 4 PSN Avatars
30,000 Registrants = 4 PSN Avatars + 1 Dynamic Theme

Thanks for the offer, bu probably cannot make it tonight. :whistle2:| Though, is the space still available for North America server?

I'm willing to help with the move outfits. I already have them all. If you want it, add me and I can invite you to the space so you can favorite it and get back to it when you want. I will also stick around to help you collect the outfits. PS I'm online for the next few hours.

just a final reminder as stated a few days ago that today is the absolute last day in NA/EU to get any items you've wanted to buy or rewards you want from the Irem spaces (Irem Square and Irem Seaside of Memories) as coming tonight when Home goes down for maintance they will be gone forever.

Working on trying to get the last reward I need from Seaside to be complete as I type this haha.

Edit: Gathering place for Cave Explorers will also be gone tomorrow as well.

Keep in mind, to get all the items from the IREM square, you have to visit each day for several days. Although you can fool it by simply quiting Home change the date on your PS3 by 1 day and then go back. Keep doing that up to seven times and you'll get all the rewards for IREM square. Also, if you want both the male and female clothing items, you'll have to change your gender during each visit.

Click here for info on all the IREM Square rewards (NA).

In the IREM Seaside space you will automatically get both female and male clothing items... but seeing as the rewards are randomly given out. It can take several days let alone hours to get everything, and that's even when leaving the space and coming right back to reset the treasure sparkle, instead of waiting 15 minutes in the space for the treasure sparkle to reset.

Personally, the rings are rather meaningless, but the seven different treasure trunks are really fun, and they act as chairs in your personal spaces. Also the various clothing items are interesting as well.

Click here for info on all the IREM Seaside rewards (NA).

Some of the lockwood displays are open now. I haven't been able to find any free items yet there.

It looks like you can gift some more free items from the gift machine. It looks like a total of 9 'bag heads' - 5 male and 4 female.

I realize I'm 2 years late but I never got the free stuff from Siren, it was always too glitchy and weird. has that settled down now? It looks like it takes 4 people who know what they're doing, and I'm not a person like that!

Siren's as low as it's gonna get. Siren is a pretty popular space to hang out as well as that it's a fun mini game that doesn't get old. I know I still play it from time to time for the heck of it. Though yes I agree it's glitchy like my avatar get's stuck in spots and I vigorously rotate the left analog stick until it starts moving again.

If you wanna play just wait for a game to start and time it. Each game lasts 5 minutes or shorter if everyone dies/makes it out which never happens with the noobs that think it's just an escape maze and not a scavenger hunt maze. There's three different scenario's I'm sure you're aware of all rewarding different items by finding them and making it out of the maze with them. So when it get's around the 4 minute mark just start mashing X at the desk and you'll have about a 90% chance of getting in.

Here's the Youtube video I used to memorize and know which scenario I'm in and find all the items. I just got lucky on the cabinet when I got in a game with 3 other none new players that didn't die before I got out. So goodluck!
My internet went down last night, so I missed out on other Irem stuff. Oh well, hoping for more free stuff elsewhere.
Sorry to hear that. The space was something special and has some cool free stuff. Though the new monsters space gives you a cool decal that goes under you're avatar as you walk as well as there's 5 limited time items somewhere in the new lockwood space that I have yet to find unless there in the gifting machine.

The baseball player was the main statue when you first enter the space that is the first thing you see. Though it's been replaced with a Paintball guy that doesn't reward you with anything. I missed out too.

Well that's good to know. Are these the 5 limited time rewards? I'm confused on this space and normally I don't need an explanation.
The place just opened up today, right? So how did we miss out?
The main demo rooms opened today but the lobby which is the room you enter in when you go to the space has been publicly open since last week.

My bad ppl, didn't know that was an old reward. I missed out too. I'm not really sure how the reward system works for this event. I think the Kasabian event is done in EU too. I'll edit my previous post.
I've been going into Lockwood space every day and haven't gotten anything. I don't understand it.
The only thing you get for just showing up last week was the shopping bag and if you used the portal from CP you got the mini crown thing the circles above you're head. I'm not sure if those are still available though.

The only other things I'm aware of is the paint splat that you can still get for the next few hours and then the baseball shirt that isn't available at the moment.

I can't find it. I looked behind all the rocks and didn't see any paint splats. The paint ball player statue is gone now too, replaced with a robot.

I hope they recycle the rewards at least once... Nobody could figure it out! If anyone has some time, it might be interesting to try changing the dates on the PS3 to see if you can revert to the previous days decorations.
According to the last few posts of this thread:
http://community.us.playstation.com/thread/3894661?start=15&tstart=0
There are a few other rewards for walking into various areas when the theme in the main room is right. I won't post anything definitive since I haven't tried it.
I walked into the LKWD room since they put the robot statue up and you get a LKWD wall art piece which looks pretty cool. At least we all have a chance to get this one lol.

No you can't, I just tried. As for the recycle I hope so too.

I guess I'm just out of luck when it comes to the Lockwood Showcase room. Every time I go there, no matter how many times, my PS3 freezes.

Oh well. I'm happy with what I got last week. However, I would like to know if anyone else has had this problem? If it's just me, that'd be depressing. lol XD
