I just checked online and my local BB says they have it in stock in the store, hopefully I will be able to get one as soon as they open up in the morning.
I'm not calling bullshit on you but I checked zip codes in California, NY, Florida, and a few other places and can't find any stores that show stock. Care to share the zip? Im just curious to see it since I can't find it but I only tried like 11010 12010 stuff like that for NY.

I recommended the Vita EDF once here before, it has a *LOT* of content/missions, and though appears to be mindless at first, you will quickly discover you need different strategies and weapon combos for different stages.

Just picked this up recently, and just as you've noted, doesn't seem very complicated at first, but then it starts to get progressively harder if you don't start to figure out how to approach certain stages.

Might pick up a sealed copy though.

Decisions, decisions...

Yeah, I'm deciding whether I should pick up the PS4 EDF, or should I wait for it to drop to $20...

Ugh I have EDF2 digitally but I want to own it physically too. My price point was $10 buy not sure if I should just say whatever and buy it at $15. If best buy price matches and I can get gcu I'll probably do it.

4.1 on ps4 is absolutely incredible. It's the best EDF game by so much plays pretty flawlessly and the online is great when you can get a full squad. It will hit $20 at some point I'm sure but even at it's current price it's pretty much worth it

You usually can't get both. If you have success, please let us know.
Well if best buy matches the price themselves then gcu still applies and works. If I went in and asked for a price match it wouldn't (usually) work. Here's hoping best buy matches their price!

Tldr: I guess I worded poorly. I mean I hope best buy updates their price to match Amazon's $15 BC then I can get gcu

You're right, that was poorly worded.

Would've taken me several reads of your original comment, and I still would not have ended up at the latter scenario since BB doesn't match prices in that way like Amazon does.

Probably better off hoping for an upcoming sale though that will include EDF2. ;D

I pulled the trigger on the Vita EDF, and am waiting on the PS4 version. They are both technically re-makes of previous editions of EDF. The Vita version has a slightly higher review rating. The PS4 version looks like it would be pretty good for fans of the series, but I'm willing to be a little more patient. It only came out at the end of last year, so it is still pretty fresh on the market. I'm willing to bet it will drop into the $20 range before it becomes scarce.

The Vita keeps looking like it is on borrowed time, and physical games for it are already becoming harder to find. $15 is not bad for a fairly well-reviewed EDF title on that platform.

I concur. I pulled the trigger as well.

did anyone get their copy of aegis of earth from gamestop today? Mines was preordered and paid for last month and I got nothing. Of course I did get a copy of senran today (1 of 2 copies, thankfully it was a sealed copy) so at least I got one of my preorders. It's a bit surprising that the prce difference is so much between a new copy of aegis and used. I can understand $5 but 10 is a bit tempting to wait out a new copy and go preowned, but like some of you said I have a feeling it wont be a easy to come by game in the future
According to my local Best Buy manager (who was super cool, he called the regional manager), he said the game had a shipping delay, and that most (Best Buy) stores won't get it until Friday, Saturday at the latest for the east coast.

So that might also explain why GameStop also didn't get any either.

Got mine today so hah!

should get earth  monday from gamefly shipped from cali  crap at least hopefullyi get   senran tomorrow ...  gives me something to do over moe chronicle   (biggest waste spend in long time)

Just a point of reference for making Vita carts.

"it's 4x more expensive to produce Vita carts than PS4 discs (if you only order the minimum quantities). If your game is 2GB+ or costs $34.99+, the cost can jump to 6x or higher vs PS4. Most sane publishers would look at the costs vs profits and back away slowly.

Due to that we're probably going to be the only publisher doing small Vita runs. We're happy to be doing this because we're not driven by profits."

LRG definitely being bros.

Also on the LRG front.

"Douglas has been in Tokyo for a while and is finally back tomorrow so expect a bit more activity from us here. :)

He actually held two impromptu meetings for LRG while there. We never rest from trying to secure physical releases for you all!

Lots of meetings going down at GDC this week and a few announcements will probably slip out soon. Keep your eyes peeled!

On a different note, manufacturing has begun on Oddworld! It's finally coming!"

well this is great now LRG is gonna put their hands in my wallet again....all this action in my wallet will make it feel like a porn star, hands everywhere being grabbed from different directions, being yelled at and demands thrown around like piece of clothing. protect your wallet my fuck . the only thing I can do now is just throw my hands in the air and say do as you please to my wallet just leave me out of this...of course it does feel good to see the vita getting the support it deserves

I know it is a long shot, but optimistic me hopes Sony sees how successful LRG is with these limited runs and start trying to encourage other devs to develop for the vita.

just checked my email this morning and oddly Best Buy is telling me a new completely different date.

:vita: Aegis of Earth... "Available Wed, Mar 23"

 I wonder what happened to delay the ETA again. did they make 4,000 and realize that wasn't enough?

As for Amazon, they might be the best place to grab it, to be safe...

LRG is kicking out physical runs that are all sub 3000 units. Sony wouldn't care about numbers like that even if they know about them. Sorry to go Negative Nancy on you, but thems be the shakes.

This is most likely due to BB's approach to ordering much smaller quantities of niche games, to avoid having too many in stock. They did this with Terraria for the Vita, and it sold out permanently within a few weeks of release. The lesson to be learned, if you want more obscure releases from BB with your GCU discount, order them sooner, rather than later, or you might not have the option to get them later from BB.

I tried to place an order for in-store pickup yesterday. Site said pickup would be Saturday, but when I placed the order, it said item removed due to high demand.

So I placed an order to be shipped which went through fine and I received the shipping notice today.

That's weird, I ordered a copy last night and I received shipping confirmation this morning.
