And still no response out of either GameSlop and BestBuy! GAAHHHH!!!!

What is all of this nonsense about being designed to stay turned on? Is it bad that I turn mine off when I'm done with it?
I turn off my Vita ever so often... like once or twice a month. The 3DS though at this point can just stay off, back in another hate phase of my relationship with that pocket weight.

A game is a game, but a watch is a watch!
Which is why I passed... my standard in wrist watches is a bit to high for my own good.

In other news any news on when the next LRG will be up for sale ....seeing nothing In the forums
Friday August 19th. Rainbow Moon. Be there, or miss out!

Is there one? Only thread i go to daily is this one
Same here... I'd forgot there was anything else to this site to be perfectly honest. But this line of discussion has made me remember that there was a time in the not so distant past when I lurked the anime deals thread during the Christmas season each year. I wonder if Dark Lord Shawn misses my money? :whistle2:k

I need more Vita titles from LRG.

I honestly look forward to LRG's new "competitor" since they'll probably have the titles I would actually play.

Is it just me, or is that Rainbow Moon Vita cover kind of plain? Just the game logo alone, nothing else? Couldn't they have found some artwork to put there?

As for the game, I really love the detailed graphics and overhead view, but the gameplay videos just look boring.

My Shiren LE came in today; in near perfect condition save for a small bend along the bottom. Now I can return the sealed copy to Best Buy.
I completely forgot about this... I haven't received any notification or anything. And I don't even see a way to log into the store to check the status...:whistle2:k

Check your emails for order confirmation from Aksys. Also on the front page, right side near the top is the login button.

http://www.aksysgames.com
Yeah, I made an account but that looks like it's for the forums only. I don't see a way to log into like... the online store account or check order status. I have my confirm email but nothing in there about how to check status.

Oh well, guess I'll just wait and see.

Aksys will email you with shipping confirmation and tracking# when it goes out.  Mine took like a week before it was shipped.  They will email again when it has been delivered on your doorstep.

What is the cheapest place to get a vita memory card?

Last year around november.(when I got my vita)

I found a 32gb used for $45.

Now it seems they're going for $60.

I need either a 4gb or 8gb for my vita tv.

What are the best prices for these sizes?

I don't know since I haven't needed to buy one in a couple years. The last time I did was when I worked at Toys R Us and they had all their 4gb vita mem cards on clearance. I picked up the entire stash, about 4 or 5 or a ridiculous cheap amount. I still have one I haven't even opened. I guess it helps that I'm physical purchaser only.

I have a feeling good prices are a matter of luck. keep your eye on ebay maybe?

Received e-mail responses from both GameStop and Best Buy customer service this afternoon!

GameStop is hilarious. They allegedly can't find my receipt's transaction ID in their database, even though it shows as a recent purchase on my Rewards Account! I just had to literally scan both the game and the receipt and send them the pictures!

And my employer, Best Buy, has utterly failed me... but that's become a near daily ritual for these people in so many regards... But seriously, here's the message they sent me. utter failure!

Ebay prices seem crazy!

4gb's go for around $15.

8gb's go for around $20.

Walmart has clearanced out most if not all of their Vita stuff, people are finding the PSTV bundle (the one with DS3 controller and 8 GB card) for $30, and the 16 GB cards by themselves for around $10. Someone smarter than me on here can figure out how to use Brickseeker and similar trackers to see if you have any in your area.

The vita wasn't eligible but all the other console's were.

I tried doing this months ago, but never found any.

Even now, all vita stuff is gone around my area. Brickseek shows nothing around me.

Only option is buying online.

Best option may be to wait for a possible 16gb card for 20$ on amazon during or around black friday. a 4gb card is gonna be useless on a vita tv anyway.

Mike, one of the Best Buy forum moderators, confirmed that it was eligible.
Correct, and I did reply back earlier with the link to the forum where it was posted at. So shall wait and see what happens, likely nothing, but still false advertising if they don't come through.

The latest Danganronpa episodes were fantastic, love how they stringed together a single, canon storyline by gradually piecing together segments out-of-order, very much like the storytelling of Beyond Two Souls. Won't discuss any actual elements to avoid spoilers.

Loving this form of interleaving game story and anime story.

I ended up buying an 8gb and 4gb pack, it was $20 for both.

The way I see it is, my main portable vita has 32gb and is my main use for vita games.

I can just stick a 8gb and/or 4gb on my vita tv and use it for emulators.

The vita tv won't get much use, other than some emulators.

Don't have much reason to use Vita tv over my regular vita anyways.

Also with the new vita exploit, I can switch cards without having to reformat every time.

If my vita dies, I can just use the 32gb on my vita tv.

I would suggest sending a PM to one (or more) of the moderators on the BB forums, specifically the one that stated the Vita version was eligible and give your details and order info. Replying in the thread is usually ok but all they will ask you for is your order details anyway (in a PM) so might as well go straight to that to save time.

Maaaan, clearance prices suck ass at Wal-Mart. Fifteen dollars for Rayman Legends? Lower, please!
$15 for a new copy is solid. It's $17.99 ($16.19 Pro) for a Used copy at gamestop and $22.88 for a new copy on Amazon.

I'm all for cheaper prices (this is CAG), but $15 is a solid deal.

you likely wont be able to do that as you have to update the vita tv right out of the box and they already patched the recent stuff you can do on it I think. And the update is sadly not optional. Can't recall how much space it takes up either off hand.

Legends is a great game as long as you don't care about getting the platinum trophy. There are a couple trophies that require you to participate in an absurd amount of daily and weekly challenges.
It might have taken nearly 3 months of daily playing for me to earn the plat, but I still enjoyed the game.

I want to believe Sony wouldn't be so petty as to ban people who use homebrew on their Vita..

But Sony + Vita = "fuck you."
I'm assuming at this point they aren't going to do anything. If they did though I'd assume it would be a system ban and not an account ban.

E. Especially after the huge number of people using henkaku. The amount of angry people who would want access to their purchased games would create such a hellfire for them. I don't think they'd want to deal with that damage.

I got my Shiren LE from Videogames+ today in perfect condition. The box was packed with a peanut on each side to prevent it from sliding around.

Considering things like copyright striking people for just talking about leaked No Man's Sky footage on YouTube, anything is possible with their legal team.

They won't ban people I have never heard people being banned from using homebrew on handhelds now on the PS3 it was a possibility because people would hack in games etc. At this point I see more people buying Vitas because of these new exploits, I have 2 vitas so one stays with the homebrew and will prob be updated and the PS TV definitively stays with the homebrew love playing my neo geo games on it
