The red cable on my Composite R/Y/W PS2 cable stopped working, so I can't get stereo sound anymore. Does anyone know where I could purchase a good PS2 A/V cable for a reasonable price? Thanks!

If you have a Gamerush nearby you might want to check there. Madcatz GCN/PS2/Xbox combo cables are on clearance for $5 after 50% off.

Don't have a Gamerush. Damn.
Get you a DTS compatible surround sound system and buy an optical cable, you won't regret it...
No. I just need to know where to get an A/V cable.
Well then get some s-video cables if your TV ahs the input... :)
No, because S-video doesn't (at least not on my Xbox) make a significant difference, and I want to be able to use it on all TV's, regardless of age. That's why I also have an RF adaptor :bouncy:

As for the MadCatz cables, are they OKAY? My RF adaptor is Pelican, and I'm very satisfied with it, and I don't have much experience with MadCatz...

Actually, most 3rd party S-video cables have both S-video and composite on the same cable. I have a 3rd party Datel S-video cable for PS2 and a Radio Shack one for xbox, and both have S-video + composite.

Very convenient for me, as I can display S-video on the LCD, and run the composite to the video capture card to make videos of my gameplay.

Don't know where you can get for cheap though, a lot of accessories for PS2 and xbox are hard to find these days. I got my cables on clearance at Best Buy and Radio Shack for around $4. You might be able to get like $5 online, but then they charge you $6 for shipping. :whistle2:(

Check around the usual places, Target, Toys R Us, K-mart, Wal-mart, Circuit City, Best Buy, and EB games.

I have a sealed pack of OFFICIAL Sony PS2 A/V cables. I am HDTV all around so I have no use for standard def cables.

If you're interested, I can sell them to you for $8 shipped.

I'm not sure if they have these in your part of the country, but at Value Village, all cords are 99 cents if you don't mind hunting. I picked up a spare Sony A/V there on a half off day so got it for 49 cents.

I have 3 of 4 Official Sony PS2 cables/adapters in very good condition (near mint).

Sony RCA/S-Video Adapter (requires a/v cables). (I used this to test GT4 quality using the S-video cable and it made GT4 much clearer and more crisp.)

Sony RF-Switch cable adapter (for coxial connections):

Sony Original RCA cable (Original meaning its the default cable that comes with the PS2):
