Im skeptical that a game where you have to avoid an alien would be fun. Im also thorn on metro redux, do you actually play it muct? I feel like I will get it and then just not play it, when I have games like destiny and black ops 3 taking up my time. The order is tempting too.. Tough choices :)

It's a fun action RPG but very heavy on the grind for both XP and leveling your weapons.

On top of that, neglecting any character's levels will be detrimental at the end... keep that in mind.

im getting the opposite way, im starting to prefer less clutter around the house, so being able to trade these games in for more than the digital costs (with extra $10 coupon) is perfect.

Alien Isolation is both fun and frustrating.

It really nails down the 70s-80s sci-fi aesthetic but the Alien AI isn't as good as many people claim. While it does actively hunt you, in many cases it is just scripted to come down or go up at certain times...... like you can leave the Alien behind you distracted by guards.. only to have it appear 50meters later crawling down a pipe because it was scripted to come into that room.

Still quite fun, and if you like Outlast then you will LOVE this game. There is also some minor fighting in the game, along with weapons.

I've been doing the same, if I can trade a game in for equal or more than the digital price on sale, I've been grabbing the digital version as of late and selling the physical.

It's a Remaster, which is a type of cleaned up and optimized port. Just like Last of Us and etc.

Now I am trying to think of a true PS3 to PS4 remake... (Entirely new game with entirely new assets from the ground up, save for maybe sound).

Yeah, especially when Heavy Rain is already $30 on it's own.

To be honest, I really don't want at Beyond at all, but if I could have gotten both for $22, I would have considered it. I only really want Heavy Rain but I'll probably wait for it to drop. I'm in no real rush to have it now at that price.

Didn't really play it save for the Nostromo story which was an expanded semi-retelling of the original Alien.

This was included with my copy.

Gamestop sent out a coupon to PUR Pro members for $10 extra when you trade in 2 PS4/XB1 games with $3-or-higher values. Metro Redux has an $8 base value right now, so you'd get $13.80 ($5 bonus + 10% PUR) if you traded it in with another PS4/XB1 game.

Remasters are just a type of port.

They are the exact same game in almost every way save for the textures cleaned up and performance usually optimized for the PS4 to run at a higher or more consistent frame rate.

Though, some are admittedly less effective at this than others (I've heard the Dishonored one is horrible, I didn't notice any problems).

Though I admit, I am weird and anal how I classify things, most PS3 to PS4 games were made to run better at a higher resolution and frame rate consistently over their PS3 counterpart.

It's crazy sometimes how we clamor after DLC for games we haven't played in years once it gets delisted. Years ago, I beat the 360 version of Beatles Rock Band in one sitting that took under 6 hours and haven't touched it since. Now I'm debating spending around $60 for all 3 DLC albums just in case I might ever want to play those songs in the game in the future. Ridiculous!

Ah, gotcha. Yeah, I'm not PUR Pro, and I don't shop at Gamestop NEARLY enough to make it worth it. Shame, I could have used that coupon - I have a copy of Life Is strange sitting around waiting to be traded in as well.

Yeah, I searched for "Beatles" in the 'What's in the PS Store' thread and only found the DLC when they dropped, no sales.

For some reason they get trigger happy with the Rock Band DLC delistings, taking them down early. I figured I should at least wait until the flash sale though.

I was hoping for a 4/20 Day miracle. :pray:
