Sleeping Dogs gameplay was better and you could actually like the main character. Gta v you play as some psycho racist perv, ice cube rip off that kills all black stereotypes, or a dysfunctional dad mafia stereotype ripoff. Rockstar makes such shitty characters it kills the games for people who like stories.
 
I like GTA5 a good bit more than Sleeping Dogs but that game is still fucking awesome and its one of the few games I've gotten a platinum for. The fighting and environmental kills are dope and I like how you upgrade Wei, who is a great character. Anybody who likes GTA or open world games in general needs to play it.

Don't wait for Deluxe, the difference is relatively minimal - deluxe just gets you a bunch of extra coins and some character unlocks, but you can earn the vast majority of that just by playing. The split screen mode is significantly improved over the first game, though you still can't play online split screen. But you can play all the game modes against AI opponents in split screen, and both players do earn coins/XP.

explain to me what was interesting or unique about the main character in sleeping dogs

same thing with the story, what was so great about it? yeah they were ripoffs in GTA, they were still more memorable than the character in sleeping dogs who was boring as hell

heck i wouldn't even call sleeping dogs the best game with the word "dogs" in it's title, watch dogs is better imo

it's fine if you prefer sleeping dogs over GTA 5, just understand you are a part of a very small minority

Picked up all the R&C games with the exception of the ps3 collection since I already own it on disc but went ahead and picked it up for my vita ~$24 for all the R&C games is one hell of a deal

Anyone know if the multiplayer servers are still up and running for split second? Thinking about grabbing that and Spec Ops The Line before the sale ends. (Although something tells me both will be ps plus games eventually)

Well I forgot this was even a thing I was so underwhelmed by my first glance at it.  Second glance I think I'm getting Assault Android Cactus and I'm tempted to round out my R&C collection.  Think that just means Size Matters and Full Frontal and if I want to double dip on the Vita collection or convert Tools of Destruction or Crack in Time to digital.

Man, Assault Android Cactus is a beast of a game. Always heard good things about it and at $6 it's a steal. From the music to the game-play, it's all topnotch. I usually don't enjoy twin-stick shooters, but the devs made this game both challenging, forgiving and most importantly fun, it's a blast as you start to learn how the game needs to be played in order to survive. Highly recommended.

I hope you added Into the Nexus to your cart before Quest for Booty. Apparently Quest is free with Nexus. I made the mistake of adding Quest first, and had to pay for it, even though I should have got it for free. Likewise, you get Deadlocked for free with Full Frontal Assault. I'll have to contact Sony later to see if I can get some sort of refund on my order because of this.

I should've read the "Note"s on the first page, but I was on mobile at the time and they weren't working. Sucks for me.

According to PSNProfiles, somebody earned the trophy for winning an online race 4 days ago. It's 100% worth it for the single player anyway.

I think playing it on the Vita some of the controls should be able to be remapped (through the wrapper) and the controls were the biggest complaint as I was checking it out.

If you find yourself in the situation where the TV is being used by other household members, or where you kinda wanna half watch a sporting event, etc., the Vita is great. You can even remote play your PS4 games when the TV it is connected to is otherwise occupied. I rarely use the Vita "On the Go", almost exclusively household use.
