Anyone know if they added online multiplayer to Assault Android Cactus?
I'm pretty sure they haven't. My understanding is that the developers added the couch co-op as sort of a bonus mode. The game was designed to be played solo and it is a blast going for the highest rank on the campaign levels.

It controls better than gta5, in my opinion. Liked it a lot more and thinking of a rebuy.
Nice. I've heard of too many people running into freezing issues with that game. It's been a long time since I've played a game in that vein though. Last one was GTA III.

I'm basically deciding between that, Psychonauts and Infamous: Festival of Blood.

It's a tough choice.

Does anyone play Killzone intercept? Is it alive at all? Do you have to play with people? Do you have to play with a full group? A buddy and I are kind of interested but it would probably be just the two of us, and if he isnt around can I play alone or with randoms or bots?

Thanks.

If I were to only get one of the Ratchet & Clank games, out of the newer ones that released on ps3, anyone recommend one over the others?
most would probably say crack in time but for those prices I would highly recommend snagging em all

Game is definitely best played solo. Even with two players it gets too hectic to be anything more than a fun party game.

Infamous FoB is fun for the couple of hours it lasts, but if you're only looking at one and looking to get value out of your gaming dollars then definitely go for Sleeping Dogs. It's definitely not as expansive as GTAV but in some ways its nice to have a more compact game. (but full disclosure, I haven't played the PS4 port of it, only PS3)

Nearly a year ago I bought my 3rd PS3 console (this time a slim and no problems since). I got a bunch of games with it, including Last of Us.
Is there a huge need for me to buy the remaster for PS4 right now?

I almost want to buy it now but know I won't play it for a long time. Plus I already have the PS3 version unplayed anyway.

If I already have the PS3 version on disc waiting to be played, is there any reason for me to jump on this flash sale?

I'm trying to buy some of the Ratchet and Clank games, but I'm having an issue with Deadlocked and Quest for Booty where it says I'm "not eligible to purchase or download this content". Has anybody had this issue before, or have a fix?

I can add Tools of Destruction, Into the Nexus, Full Frontal Assault and Size Matters to my cart with no problems.

EDIT: I figured it out, you get Deadlocked from buying Full Frontal Assault and Quest for Booty from buying Into the Nexus.

I wish they would do it in a proper bundle format so it wouldn't be confusing, but at least it stopped me from wasting $7.50.

Finally bought TLoU. I've played it before through phantom shares and rentals but never finished the story.

I'm also considering the Metro bundle but haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Don't FINISH IT!
It's a much better game if you don't actually see the ending or play the awful DLC...
Ha! Please do not take this persons advice. The ending is absolutely fantastic, and so is the DLC. Actually, I would advice you to never listen to any recommendation this guy ever gives to anybody in the future.

Sell your disk copy and get the remastered version. $8 is an absolute steal. It looks and plays a lot better. You can thank me later. :)

Anyone know if it's worth holding out for the Deluxe edition of PvZ2 to go on sale?

Thinking of grabbing the regular version.

Also, anyone know if the couch Co op is the same as the first one? I remember only the first player had the freedom to customize, earn points, etc.

Thinking about picking up Into the Nexus (with QfB) and Crack in Time so I can play through the entire R&C Future series (I already own ToD).

My gut is telling me to pass on the R&C Collection & Size Matters since I don't have nostalgia for PS2/PSP era of the series, and I'm convinced those games will feel dated compared to the newer releases... If anyone wants to try to convince me otherwise I'm all ears...

Also, any opinions on Split/Second at $4.99?

Agreed. The ending made the game. I haven't played the DLC

Is XCOM: Enemy Within worth it?  I picked up Enemy Unknown back when it was on PS Plus but that price tag for Enemy Within looks tempting.

Feedback would be appreciated.

I played Sleeping Dogs on PS3 and PS4. Didn't finish it on PS3 but did on PS4. Also 100% Festival of Blood. I like both games but Festival of Blood is pretty short as you said.

Grabbed Futuridium EP Deluxe, Zotrix, Velocity 2X and Valiant Hearts. Considering something Ratchet & Clank, but I already have a few of those in my backlog sealed, so I should check on those before buying.

Split/Second is well worth the 5 bucks. One of my favorite arcade racers ever.

Anyway, went ahead and got TLoU Remastered and I'm liking it more than I did when I first played it. Already progressed further than I did then as well. Tess didn't grate on my nerves this time like she did before either. Perhaps I was having a bad day...

I personally think Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal are in the top 3 of the series. Size Matters can probably be ignored-it's not a bad game by any means, it's just not as expansive and memorable as the PS2/PS3 games.

Split/Second is incredibly fun, with a fairly unique concept.

I would get the R&C collection. You don't need nostalgia because they are just good games. I just picked it up myself and can't quite comment on the quality of the remaster, but if it's on par with the Sly Cooper or God of War or Ico/Shadow remasters then you've got yourself a real winner in that package. You can probably skip size matters

Is Sleeping Dogs worth getting?

The original Ratchet & Clank is the only one that feels dated in any way due to the strafe controls and weapon leveling system not being in a thing in that series until the second game, but it's still a great game if you're interested in seeing how the series began. The other games in the collection are largely the same as what you see in Tools of Destruction without the big increase in visual quality.

Ah.

I ended up picking up some avatars instead. But I'll keep it in mind if it goes back on sale.

Really enjoyed the bit of Assault Android Cactus I've played so far, as I've beaten the first chapter an unlocked some of the side modes (Daily Challenge and an Endless mode). I do like the myriad of unlockables, which includes EX options that can change up the way you play the game. So far, I've unlocked the ability to play co-op modes with just one player and an option for the music to ramp up as the action gets more hectic with the few credits I had from the bit I've played.

It's great. I love them both. EW doesn't add that much to the campaign - same ending and all - but there are more options and variety along the way.

I can't decide whether to get any of the R&C games. Is this the cheapest they've been? How much better are the good ones than All 4 One? That's the only one I've played and I didn't care for it, so I'm not sure I'd like the others.

What's with all the hate on Size Matters? I've played every Ratchet game except for this one. Been waiting on a sale and since I got it on Friday, it's been a blast. Plays great on the Vita since the camera can be mapped to the right stick. Weapons and health both level up and it has strafing controls too so in that way it's actually better than Ratchet 1.

If I were to only get one of the Ratchet & Clank games, out of the newer ones that released on ps3, anyone recommend one over the others?
Crack in Time is the first one to use standard twin stick controls for movement. The one's before it either strafed with L2 and R2 or you held down a button so that you would strafe while moving the stick from side to side. It's also a really good game. Into the Nexus is also good, but it doesn't have as much content as Crack in Time, it was a slightly smaller scale project that launched at $40.

All for 1, Deadlocked, and free for all aren't really Ratchet & Clank games, they are series spin offs with different gameplay that happens to star characters from that series. The proper R&C games are 3rd person shooter/platformers singleplayer games which focus on giving you a lot of imaginative weapons to kill your enemies.

Yep.

Sleeping Dogs was fun. I enjoyed it a lot. However, in my mind there's no question that GTA V destroys it. Not even close IMO.
agreed

saying sleeping dogs is better is like saying a vacation to ocean city maryland is better than hawaii

sure ocean city is decent, but it's far from hawaii

Parts of Sleeping Dogs are better than GTAV.

Like the gameplay and story.

I picked up Dariusburst for Vita and PS4, loving it.

It still seems a bit high but I havent seen a sale on it and have really been wanting them

So is it worth holding out for the Deluxe edition of PvZ 2?

The couch co op was limited in the first one, wondering if it's the same for Garden Warfare 2 (second player couldn't customize freeley, earn points, etc.)?

I'd appreciate any input. Thinking of grabbing it for me and my brother.

I sometimes hate game sharing with my Dad.  He is the exact reason why Sony does all these sales because he automatically buys the DLC without ever playing the game.  He buys Dogfight 1942 for $2.  Well there are 2 DLCs packs that are $7 each OR you can buy a bundle for $10 that has everything.  So what does he do after buying the base game? He buys the bundle.  SMH.

Thats one reason why I am in charge of all gaming/sharing purchases for my whole family.

Wei Shen is way more likeable than Niko. And hand to hand combat is awesome, dat sound when you twist a guy's arm and stomp on his leg.
