It's a decent deal, the headset looks nice but I got a cheapo one from Best Buy that works fine for the little amount I use it.

Also having $300+ in Best Buy credit since that's where I traded my PS4 in at kind of means I want to keep my order with BB.

 
This is the worst movie I can think of. I could only watch it once.

A.P.E.X: Plot is that in the future a guy invents time travel. He goes back in time with a robot guardian while suffering from a sniffle, which infects everybody back in time with the plague. When back in time, his robot goes crazy upon seeing a family in a station wagon and begins attacking everybody; future guy returns to the future to find that the planet has been overrun with hostile robots and the plague. He falls in love with plaguegirl and has sex with her (getting him infected whereas before he was a carrier), and he and a small group set off to his time travel lab (which is incomplete in this timeline) and he converts it into a machine that can travel realities or something instead. He uses it to appear to his previous self (prior to the time travel) and warns himself not to travel back in time. The timelines merge or something stupid and at the end you see previous self's timeline was altered and he's now plaguegirl is pregnant with his kid or something stupid like that. The end.

Yeah, wasn't thinking about the fact that you traded yours in as opposed to selling it. I'd probably jump on that deal if I had the cash though.

 
Played some more MGS4 last night, made it up to Act 5. I watched all the intro scenes to 5 so I can get right back to it the next time. I dig the game and all but there definitely is a LOT to watch in it. Thinking I might boot up Rising right after this. I want to try to clear the decks for some of the bigger titles coming.

I feel like I'm 1 game behind on most of the major games I want to play...like I need to play Uncharted 3, God of War Ascension, etc. Do I absolutely have to play Peace Walker before Ground Zeroes? I know PW is great as I've played a little but just curious for those that are in the know.

It's a neat idea and I think the OP says everything it should. I would participate, but my plan for my 3-day weekend has been to knock out a longer game, so I'll be putting all my time into Deadly Premonition. I'm sure someone will have it finished up before I'd get a chance to start it.

 
One thing I hate about the PS3 is how I power it up and then it gives me an option. Sit there and wait for a while while it gets a waiting download to start, or skip it and get to the game (or in this case MLB.tv) I was wanting to play. I end up choosing to skip, so I don't think PJ Racers 2nd Lap is downloaded yet.

Thanks. Yeah I think the game isn't an ideal choice for most, which is unfortunate. I really think the tournament will only be fun if some of the trophies are challenging though. I mean, I could run the same thing for Destiny but really the winner would probably be whoever had the most free time between Tuesday-Friday to be able to finish up the game, rather than proving that they had any sort of skill.

I dunno, maybe people would like that way better.

Yeah, if you have something queued up to download to your PS3 you have to wait for that screen to finish if you want the game to start downloading. It does take a long time, even when I have themes and avatars queued to download it take a while.

Like I have plenty of ammo, but killing a monster takes almost one clip of ammo from any gun. So I kill a monster, run around while I am reloading and being jumped on by other monsters, repeat. The fights with monsters are not avoidable, btw. They just sort of show up and attack you. Great atmosphere and all that, but the prospect of trading it back to Best Buy so that I actually make money for playing it (albeit only a few bucks) is too alluring.

You guys disappoint me. When I played Metro 2033 on 360, I didn't have too much trouble with enemies and I went for headshots most of the time.

 
The next trophy tournament should be the first to 100% Pinball Arcade on any (PSN) platform (including all DLC available, that has trophies). Yeah!

Whatever you pick will never work for everyone, so I wouldn't give a shit what others think and do it however you want to.

Personally, I just really do not have any interest in the game, so I wont be bothering. However, I think it is a cool idea.

On the poll, you are missing the, "Play Velocity 2X and stream it as soon as you get the new PS4 since nobody cares about Destiny" option.

I think you could set it up with it having a start date, so most people can get the game and try to tackle it. It adds to the idea of posting the time completions, as everybody did that challenging others to best them. So, pick game, add a date for people to start playing it and first one to complete it, wins. That way, nobody can say they were left out.

I think the game is a great choice actually. I think the choice should always be a reasonably short game that can be had for cheap.

I'm honestly not uber-psyched about Destiny, but I want to try and get $40+ back for it so I want to play and trade/sell it as soon as possible. Destiny is definitely being played first.

Definitely considered this, and will possibly implement it in the future. How do you account for the people that may already own the game and earned a couple trophies in the past though? Are they automatically DQ'd?

They better do something about the loot in Destiny. Multiplayer was enjoyable and story was bearable, but co-op with friends makes it a blast.

Diablo 3: UEE has legs due to the loot in it and enjoying it way more than I thought I would.

The atmosphere was the only reason I finished the game. I didnt have too much trouble with the monsters, but I know what he was talking about. They could be frustrating sponges sometimes.

Should be, since it would be structured like a race. A few days or so, depending on how you choose, the date would be set and the trophy timestamps help with that. You could set a poll for a game to do the competition for too.

Not sure why i keep playing Thomas is Alone.    The narrative (for what it is) is more important than the gameplay.

Oh look, another puzzle involving using rectangles as stairs.  There's not much there, and an hour or so in I'm not really moved by the touching tale of simple geometric polygons.

I wouldn't think someone should be ineligible just for having simple trophies like "start the game up once" or "played for one hour" or something of that nature though. You know, trophies that will come naturally to anyone who plays. Just my opinion.

 
Well finally got my ebay item, and it's a broken mess.  I can just write "Return to Sender" on it and drop it off at usps if the seller wants it back, right?

The only problem with this is the seller can say he never received the item and with no proof of shipping it back you could be denied your funds.
