Ha my favorite enemy in Dragons crown are the owl bears. Reminds me of manbearpig. I still need to get the south park game. Is there manbeatpig or scuzzlebutt in it? If not, there should be.
 
Stupid fucking checkpoints apparently don't save on Burning Skies...

I finally beat that bitch. Uncharted 2: finished. I'll go back and get the rest of the trophies for the plat this week maybe.  Also, I got to trophy level 6.

I thought it was better than the first one. I still can't decide if Uncharted is better than Tomb Raider 2013, but Uncharted 2 definitely is. That whole part in the ice cavern was pretty fucking epic.

I know this isn't serious and I realize I am opening myself up to ridicule by freely admitting this, but... Hannah Montana: The Movie is a pretty simple and quick game in which to pick up all achievements/trophies. The only trouble I had was in that damn minigame where you had to knock down bottles. I'd always fail on level 10, the final level.

Indeed it is. While easy achievements are nice, I was let down by the lack of challenge and uninspired storyline. Hannah Montana is a brand that has an established reputation, and I personally expected a greater challenge, more intellectually stimulating discussions between Miley and her grandmother regarding the origins of life, and just a sprinkling of some turn-based combat.
 
owlbears were from dungeons n dragons, too awesome. n yeah al gore and manbearpig ;)

n yeah i was the founder dude in charge of the flipping club but they turned off all groups in cag 3.0 and i pretty much gave up mass flipping. now i just do it if i can get a game super cheap on release and get a free rental from it aka sacred3/wolfenstein, etc.

 
yeah twitch is crapping out on me both in firefox and chrome. I was just checking it out cuz the dark theme you mentioned, but id love to watch some gameplay and chat etc. hopefully it fixes itself later on my end. peace guys

where do you guys chat when streams are offline? it just kinda ends abruptly. is there like a lobby? ;)

You can continue chatting in the room after the stream ends, but most people just move onto the next stream (usually someone in the chat will mention they will stream after the one they're watching ends).

 
of course I gave her a high five. and I let the game sit while the spoiler giraffes spoiler walked around. ya gotta take some time to breathe.

also that twitch, that's with ps4 sharing?

 
I always thought that Will took a cab from Philly to Bel Air, but thanks to Mexican Netflix, I've learned that he actually flew and picked up the cab when he landed.
 
Deadly Premonition platted. I really enjoyed it much more than I expected. I'd encourage anyone who thinks they can look past the bad visuals and wonky controls to give it a try. The controls were easy enough to get used to. Got the plat without having to replay any chapters; as long as you try and do each side mission as soon as it becomes available you won't miss anything.

As for the poll, I voted no. I probably won't be participating in many of them at all, mainly due to time constraints, but I think it's a fun idea and will certainly enjoy finding out the winner of each.

That was an accident though.

Also, when he whistles for a cab in the short version (almost every opening for the USA version), he's clearly in Hollywood.

Got the Resistance Burning Skies plat, and it already sold on Amazon.

Overall the game was alright, not nearly as bad as the reviews made it out to be.  Obviously at $40 it probably rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but for $8 (and resell for $5) it was perfectly fine and not overly long.

Some of the weapons and touch screen inputs were actually kind of cool.

Edit: Got it. I couldn't get the stupid light to turn on, but it was one of the prizes for the spider spin and that's how I got it.

Divekick and Castlestorm are both getting a separate trophy list for PS4.  Alas, Divekick isn't going to be cross-buy so I doubt I buy it again and Castlestorm no confirmation yet, but since it's going to be the "definitive edition" on PS4 (with all the DLC) I doubt it will be cross buy with the vanilla PS3/Vita version.

Pro:  My 4-day weekend got extended to a 5-day weekend

Con:  That extra day will be spent driving my fiance to various doctor's appointments since today her stomach decided to hate her.  Love spending 7 hours in the ER!
