ok the 10% off pre orders day 1 digital, will they still be 10% off the first week like PLAY games were, where you only forfeit a theme? Seriously thinking about doom, but I would like to make sure bethesda doesn't ruin it with bugs.

Speaking of the $100 to get $20 promo this month. I was thinking of reupping my plus since it is done in December, but I am not sure what else to get.

Anyone know much about the Doom BFG edition other than the plus discount we are getting and the fact they are upgrading it and have Doom 1 and 2 included? I am really tempted by it, but never having played 3, anyone NOT recommend it? I already know of its good points so I was more looking for negative points to it if there are any to determine if I want it or not.

Based on the PS Blog, no, the 20% off for Tokyo Jungle for PS+ users does not end this week.

Heh, sorry I didn't respond earlier; I just haven't checked this thread since last Thursday. But to answer your first question, when I said that I was more interested in fighting the dlc characters and taming/developing them was just an afterthought, I meant just for me personally because I did everything in the regular game within the 1st month of owning FFXIII-2, so I already had awesome monsters developed for every role. I never paid for any dlc before the sale this past week because I just refused to pay full price for what would amount to a higher cost than the original MSRP for the game if you were to purchase everything. Although I had absolutely no interest in the dlc weapons or most of the outfits and I already had Omega from preordering the game from Amazon. However, I have played with developing some of the dlc characters and will probably mess around with them some more just to see how they turn out.

As far as your 2nd question, which has already been answered to a degree, yes you will definitely need to be leveled up a bit to beat Lightning and Amodar. After having fought them, they seem like they would be the easiest to beat at a low-mid level crystarium development and weapons/accessories development and they would definitely be good for their roles through a decent portion of the game. But like the other poster said, you may be about halfway through the game before you are able to beat them plus from my experience, I have had an incredibly hard time taming Coliseum opponents (i.e. Omega :razz:) without a certain ability that increases your monster capture rate, even when I consistently got 5 stars. For Omega, I could not capture him until I got that ability. I was able to easily beat him with 5 stars about halfway through the game or less but I fought him at least 20 times before getting that ability, tried different weapons and accessories with passive abilities I thought might help capture him and nothing. Then after I get that ability, which was pretty late game, I go back, fight him 2 times and capture him. Then I didn't like the way I initially developed him, ditched him, went back and got him again the 1st time I fought him. :whistle2:?

Also, you can only get FFXIII style, Ravager Lightning from capturing her at the Coliseum; but you can get Warrior Goddess, Commando Lightning automatically from beating her dlc chapter I think and she is much better at her role for late game/post-game than Ravager Lightning from what I've read. Most people say she's the best Commando hands down but I haven't played her story yet. I'm not sure when her story is available to play; but I would assume that it's available as soon as you finish New Bodhum 003 since the Coliseum was open for me to fight Omega at that point and Lightning and Sazh's stories are both in the same general area as the Coliseum, to the left of New Bodhum 003 in the Historia Crux.

Anyway, sorry for the long winded answer, lol; but I hope it helps if you haven't already figured everything out. :)

If we get it for free, it won't be for a long time. It's 20% off right now, so if they gave us that discount and then gave it to use for free a month later, that will piss off a lot of buyers.

The Alex Kidd in Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection was the sequel. The one that's going to go on sale is the first game and was on Master System.

Did anyone notice they used art from the original Little Kings Story on the drop page rather than NLKS?

I mean, they don't exactly look similar, its pretty obviously the wrong image.

I really doubt the new one can top the original. The art is fucking atrocious.

Grabbing the demo for Silent Hill and Zero Escape on the vita now.

I also see the new additions to PS1 library to the vita too like Chrono Cross, BoF IV and etc.

New King Story for $39.99 is no good for me, I'll grab it at around $20 or less, I think.

Yeah, I was mad excited for this release, but I don't think I can bring myself around to spending this much on the title. From what I hear, the voice acting (or lack thereof) is terrible and there's some slowdown when there's a lot of stuff going on on-screen. On top of all that, it's not even a physical cartridge. I don't feel like the price is justified personally. I'm going to wait for a lower price-point.

Damn why did NLKS have to be $40. I'm not sure if I should bite or not. It seems like this could be one of the games in the Instant Game Collection for PS+ in the future. But I do have a lot of BB credit.
 
Some game called Hyperballoid HD is on sale for $3. It's a brickbreaker type game, but it has trophies, so I'll probably pick that up. Foosball is also on sale for $6, and I'm pretty sure that's a cross play game for those who have a Vita.

Also will grab Alex Kidd for a buck. I may wait for my Capitol One card to come in though, or just buy them on Monday if I don't have it yet.

That game has been on sale several times Hyperballoid HD but not Foosball, I'd also grab Alex Kidd but easy trophies are meh.

Where does it say that there is an all DLC package available that only costs $1? Granted, that last sentence is written terribly so maybe you're trying to say something else.

Yeah I just bought it off of GMG for PC at 25% off. Comes out tomorrow for PC which is fine, I would rather Steam anyway.

I think that Alex Kidd is different than the PS3 Genesis Collection one (Sonic Collection???).

It may just be me, but that image in no way says get every piece of DLC for $1 at all. It clearly says all DLC $1, meaning every piece of DLC is now priced at $1

Well then blame them for making a poor presentation and writing ALL DLC as in a bundle that for only 1$ you get everything from EX2 to EX10 but you could say they fucked it up when they put the discount to be 80% and clearly it wasn't so the image would be wrongly advertising right from the beginning, when errors are made like that
