I finally signed up for + last night and now I am on a download rampage. Just for clarification, do all of the games under the Free Games for + list expire at the same time or are some of them always free?

I recommend this one. Simple game yet pretty fun. You're playing soccer with RC cars, basically. Online play works quite well for the most part, and you can also play local multi-player split-screen.
 
why did the walking dead have to license out to telltale? my favorite type of game (zombie) meets my least favorite type of game (anything by telltale)
 
I know iv asked this before. memory loss. but i have limited ps3 space.

as long as i get shank2/shift 2 in my dl list, even if i don't download it, i can still go to the list and download it in the future after it expires? correct?

If it's in your purchases and has the red shopping cart there should be no problem. There's some plus stuff I haven't downloaded yet and it's still there.

I played through it since it was free for ps+. Fun little 4-5 hr. campaign. I'd buy it for $3 if I could to get the trophies I missed at a later date. Unfortunately, since I already downloaded it, the psn store doesn't allow me to buy it outright.

I'm pretty sure this one is just the original plus all the DLC.
 
no trophies. i check ps3trophies.org to check that and trophy guides.
i thought they took the plat away from trine 2, but they still have a plat.
just only 12 or so trophies instead of 33, they just have all golds and a plat, haha.

Ah k thanks. Guess ill just stick with the Vita version then, i'm sure the player difficulty is insane on that game anyway, considering how long its been out.

Ya, from what I've heard Trine 2 is a Trophy Hunter's dream.

It really is. You can get the Platinum before you even beat the game. I think there's something like 16 chapters and you can obtain the Plat as early as chapter 7. It's ridiculously simple.

Playing on Vita is good. Second analog stick doesnt help too much (unless you use the camera alot which you most likely wont). Turn on Bilinear Filtering for sure and turn off PSP Color Space. I think that's it. Pretty good imo. If you have Dissidia 1 saves put that on your vita beforehand so you get to keep all your levels and stuff. Ad HOC play works as expected. I think that's everything.

Because The Walking Dead is more about the people than the zombies. The Walking Dead as a typical zombie game wouldn't be any good. It was given to Telltale because of WRITING.
 
I've only played it for about half an hour but I think I'm going to really like the walking dead game. So far at least it's almost more like a visual novel adventure than anything else.

I could see why anyone not knowing what it is going in might not like it though.

Amazon also has it, but it seems like they may be dyslexic since they're saying it'll be out 8/5 instead.

Well, they have put some of the remakes on the store, but they're not called classics. If it's a classic, it's the original version.
 
And the PSOne "classics" usually suck or at the very least look so blurry in all their polygonal glory that they are virtually unplayable. At least for me. I am sure others enjoy them, but I just cant.

I cant wait for free Trine 2 though, pretty game and the first was very fun.

Nice, would like to check out Mushroom Wars, but already own Digger HD and Wakeboarding HD. So if this disc ever hits the $10 mark I'll scoop it up.

^Disappointed that Rayman 2 is a PS2 Classic, I'd rather have them HD'ify it like Rayman 3.

Also, what is "Bang Bang Racing"? Is that a PSN game that is out already, and just getting a demo now?

Thanks Frisky, that's what I thought it was. Just surprised because we rarely see demos for PSN games BEFORE the actual game releases (PS+ exclusive demos like HotD3 & 4 being the exception)

Also, Digital Reality seems to be a pretty good developer that just seems to have appeared on the downloadable scene. They seem to be hustling over there, having done Skydrift, Dead Block, and this as well as doing Sine Mora and Black Knight Sword (which looks awesome) with Grasshopper.

EDIT: I lied, they only published Dead Block.

After playing Hot Shots Golf so much on my Vita, i broke down and spent the $20 on the HSG Out of Bounds Complete Collection since it was only $19.99.
