PvZ would've been another good opportunity for cross-buy I think(or cross-free for PS+) owners and I honestly think it will be one of the first games on the instant collection when PS+ goes live for the Vita.
That's a good point. Since I don't have a Vita yet, maybe I'll hold off on PvZ for now.
If anyone was thinking about buying the digital version of 007 Legends.....http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/10/16/007-legends-review
I didn't think the game ever had a chance of being good.
I love PS+ and will support it as long as they continue to give games and discounts. I still got 2 years worth waiting to be redeemed. I just hope we get a promotion with a free game like Jurassic Park for renewal in the future.

The people that hate PS+ can enjoy all the free Xbox games MS gives you every month.
I love love love + and subbed day one. Overall very happy. But the last three freebies have disappointed me. Blitz is kinda fun, but only ok. KoF I don't like at all (yes, I know it has a big fan base), deleted right after trying it (I prefer VF, Tekken and SC for fight games). I was fine with this, I like diversity and don't expect an amazing freebie each and every time.

That said, when I saw Payday for this week, it gave me a frown that won't turn upside down until I see a plus goodie that delights me, I sure hope there's one next week.

The early access feature is completely worthless to me, I know Sony has said that's just a bonus for that small group that may actually love it, but I'm not even sure it makes decent "marketing filler", I see it on the benefits list and just immediately think "who fucking cares about that?"

yeah, i was thinking the same thing, and that's what has me holding off on a lot of the vita digital stuff. for the content, and the price, i think i'll take the plunge on it. i plan on playing it soon anyway.
If anyone was thinking about buying the digital version of 007 Legends.....http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/10/16/007-legends-review
anyone who buys a 007 game day one is silly anyway. i haven't paid more than $10 for one. i see ign reviews haven't changed much from when i stopped reading them. "go buy call of duty it's better". cool, that may be the case, but if i wanted call of duty i would buy that.

this is why i wish they would push for more devs to make demos. i'd much rather have actual gameplay to factor in my decision. rather than someone who's paid to play games(that some obviously don't like, or have no interest in playing), and give me their opinion. especially in the fall season with all titles they have to rush to play/review from the bunches that are coming out every week.
Nice, I see Sony is listening to its fans and finally giving us free Vita content. Frobisher looks like Warioware-style game which its perfect for gaming on Vita if you're the type that likes to game on the go
Not really. Sony released it a LONG time ago in Europe for free. (around May) It was also announced for the US a while ago and can't quite understand why it took so long.

@ Boom!

You at least have 1 more week.

i don't, until it ends up being for something that i'm excited for, but i don't see the difference it makes. they're not taking anything away from us to give others the early access. so, it's not hurting anyone, but people still want to complain about it. if they take it away, what do people think will take its place?

have you played the game, is it any good?

I saw a couple of gameplay videos on youtube and its kind of hard to judge if its any fun to play or not

Haven't and won't. Just saying that Sony's not really listening, it was a preorder item that went free and was later brought to the US. I rather have the useless free clock Japan got, at least that had trophies...

I think you misunderstood me. The fact that this feature gets a lot of unfair hate is a reason I would remove it. But maybe Sony thinks they get more benefit out of it (+ sales because it's in there to make a longer feature list) than it costs them in misplaced anger. I wonder aloud if they are correct?

Well, no one replied so i´ll ask again:

"I wanna buy a psn card online, but it´s sold out on Best Buy and i cannot buy it on Amazon (US customers only). Where can i buy it?"

EDIT: I need it badly, i cannot miss this sale.

If you PM me, I'll buy a digital code off Amazon for you. I've done stuff like this for iTunes for other people in the past.

It may not be that great, but Motorstorm R/C was free from launch and is at least a fairly decent arcade racer.

Hey, is the Halloween Sale only for one week or does it run all month?
-edit : It ends 10/30. Found it in the PS Blog
They don't need to say anything at all, actually. But, it's certainly pissing more people off that they constantly make outlandish innuendos about "being blown away" by next week's selection, lol. You're correct - tastes are subjective, but I'm not arguing whether these games are good or not. SCEA seems to have an entirely different MO than Europe. They mostly give away games with limited appeal. That's FREAKING ok by me! I like most of the games, lol, so I'm not the one who has a problem with it. In fact, I've said good things in this very thread. Other people feel rightfully shafted because these are not the type of games most probably signed up for. More importantly, these are not the type of games they gave away at E3 for PS+'s reboot (when they had a huge influx of new subscribers). And, that actually is a fact. :)
If you don't have a problem with the offerings, why is there a big argument from you defending these people that don't post on CAG? I really don't get why these long rant-filled posts are even here when you're the one that doesn't believe what you're arguing for.
I know the PS3 demo for PS All-Stars needs +, but do you need it for the Vita version?
Next week, it'll be available to all (for one week only). Plus gets it this week, the rest the week of the 23rd.
The early access feature is completely worthless to me, I know Sony has said that's just a bonus for that small group that may actually love it, but I'm not even sure it makes decent "marketing filler", I see it on the benefits list and just immediately think "who fucking cares about that?"
I've heard that a few times but personally I like getting things early. Journey came early and I'm glad I got to play it when I did. I just think of it as paying a couple dollars to be able to play it early. If there was no PS+ would I still pay a couple dollars to play Journey a week early? Yep, sure would.

Would I do it for something like Unfinished Swan or PSABR? Nope, but I may just download PSA and play it anyway since it's there.

So it all depends on what it is but for the most part I enjoy getting new releases early and getting betas and things like that.
Yes.
Nope. Vita version for all tomorrow. No PS+ required.
I know the PS3 demo for PS All-Stars needs +, but do you need it for the Vita version?
Nope, beta on the Vita is for anybody with the system (don't need PS Plus).
Nope. Vita version for all tomorrow. No PS+ required.
Really? It says it's exclusive to PS+ for both versions in the PS+ post:
Exclusive Beta Access

It’s time! We need your help in getting PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale prepped for showtime when it releases on PS3 and PS Vita on November 20th. Get a taste of the full game with 2v2 and 4 player online tournaments and choose from Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Radec, Sly, PaRappa and Fat Princess as you fight in Metropolis or Hades for victory. You’ll also get to check out the Cross Play functionality since this beta access works for both PS3 and PS Vita! The beta ends at 10/30 at 11:59pm PST, so get in while you can!
Really? It says it's exclusive to PS+ for both versions in the PS+ post:
Well, I don't think it would really make sense since PS+ is technically not available yet on the PS Vita...

I've read conflicting reports as well. Granted the one that flat out said you don't need PS+ for the Vita version was from an ABC affiliate, it was still there:

http://www.news10.net/entertainment...egins-for-PlayStation-All-Stars-Battle-Royale

"All non-Plus subscribers will be able to download the beta from PSN users as of October 23. PlayStation Vita owners regardless of their PlayStation Plus status can download and play the beta now."
Really? It says it's exclusive to PS+ for both versions in the PS+ post:
This other Blog Post contradicts it.
Plus, PS+ isn't officially out for Vita anyway.

Pretty sure it'll be available for all Vita owners today.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012...e-beta-access-begins-tuesday-for-ps3-ps-vita/

Today, we’re happy to announce that the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta will kick off for PlayStation Plus members on PS3 tomorrow, October 16th and expand to everyone October 23rd through PlayStation Store! What’s more, as a special treat, PS Vita users will be able dive right into the multiplayer beta starting tomorrow – no Plus subscription required. The Beta will support Cross-Play, so PS3 and PS Vita owners will be able to fight with and against each other.

This other post is saying otherwise, so I guess all Vita people get access to it today:

STORE IS NOT UPDATED

Not even by searching for things- they must be busy launching new store in Europe- expect next weeks update to be even later
I think you misunderstood me. The fact that this feature gets a lot of unfair hate is a reason I would remove it. Maybe I worded it wrong, but I dont think Sony should remove a feature just because people don't like what it's being used on. It is not taking away from any other perks we are getting. So, it's not doing any harm to the program. Just as many people complain when it's a free game they already own/have played/bought and haven't played.

I don't think it has anything to do with money or sales. Something as small as that isn't going to sell anyone on plus.(good job to Sony if it does) That's what the instant game collection is for, and that's what the discounts are for. Everything else, I feel, is just an added perk.

I just think the biggest reason people complain about it, is that they think Sony will replace that perk with something else.

Apparently the beta is basically the same as the old one using the same characters unlocked.

That's disappointing, I was hoping it would have at least some more of the roster unlocked for people to try out.

Not even gonna bother downloading it now I think.

I know that someone asked something similar to this earlier, and sorry if you guys consider this "buggering up the thread" but....

Does anyone know where I can use paypal to buy a PSN money code to be emailed to me?

I used to get them from best buy all the time but apparently they are out of stock now.

I think you're out of luck as Amazon is the only place I know of right now with PSN codes and they don't take paypal.

I offered to purchase codes from Amazon for someone else and would happily extend the offer to you as well if you'd like. Feel free to PM me and we can work out details.

Aww yeah. I hope they keep putting Sega Vintage Collection games on sale for $1.00 in the future. I will keep buying them every time.

I think PvZ Vita now supports Cross Buy with the PS3 version, as I bought the Vita version on the PS3 and the list of download links also brings up PvZ (demo and unlock key) for the PS3.

Not officially listed in the cross-buy section of the Vita store as such but maybe they're just rolling it out before it's "official".
