Anyone know if Okami HD is PSN only, or will there be a physical release?
digital release only
Interestingly enough, I'm interested in the Spy Hunter deal as well. But by the time this deal is live next Tuesday, the game would have only been out for 3 weeks. Which leads me to believe that this deal is because either the game is selling horribly, the game sucks, or it's a combination of both.
I would be very surprised if it sold even decently. A $40 PSN only release with barely any advertising? But it has 7 golds and is a pretty easy platinum trophy so if it's $20, I might have to bite unless it is truly terrible.

So excited for the new Vita games! Ragnarok and Liberation both look great. I already pre-ordered ACIII but haven't beat Revelations yet. :(

Spy Hunter looks rather fun, actually. However, since I'm still highly resistant to buying digital versions of games with retail releases, I'll just wait for a sale on the hard copy.

If you're buying them both, might as well b2g1 at target next week. grab something to sell if you don't want anything else.
Stop complaining about the Download list, you can go directly to the purchased item from the store and download from there.
Stop defending Sony's sheer laziness. I may be lazy too, but that's my prerogative since I'm spending money, isn't it. I don't remember everything I own! It's lunacy not to have a sensical list of content that a user has purchased.

Thank you! My download list is somewhere around 700 items. Then you add in the years of game share games and hundreds and hundreds of rock band songs. It's out of control and impossible to remember

I love how the go-to reasoning for anything that a developer or programmer doesn't do is laziness.

Sony has already RECENTLY addressed the fact that they're aware that people are displeased with how the Download List works. Now with the coming HTML5 friendly update to the PSN store, they've said that they intend to address the problem in the future. There's really no point in bitching about it at this point, if Sony's treating it like a small problem, that's because it is.
This might be a silly question, but does anyone know if we can use our American paypal account on the European PSN since they're now accepting paypal?
I would be curious to know the answer to this as well. Especially curious to know if Japanese PSN will work for U.S. PayPal.

It doesn't seem like a small problem. I hear people complaining about it continually. It's the standard in digital downloads to have coherent organization. I don't understand why the console world is taking so long to catch up. Is their architecture really so obtuse that it's difficult to add a "you own this stuff" section with the ability to sort it?

Obviously us arguing about it won't solve anything. I just think its silly.

By local trophies I guess you mean those that haven't uploaded to your account?

Do these automatically update as soon as you connect to the internet (wifi)?

Thanks
Yep. Obnoxious as fuck.
The whole local trophy list gets cleared when you swap memory cards, and only starts re-populating itself as you play the various games again. It's really stupid.

I have no idea what would happen if you earned some trophies while offline and then swapped memory cards before going back online... I assume that they're stored with your saved game so that the next time you launch the game it would know you have those trophies, but I'm not sure.

I wish Little King's Story II would go on sale.

Has anyone played it?

Worth the $40 asking price?

It's digital (non retail) only, correct?

Thanks

no it wont work.. I did research on this.. has to be same region

Hmm...$50 would be towards PS+. Haven't really bothered with this spend " $100 get $20 deal." Now to figure out what to get for $50.

Corpse Party $10
Comics from the closing Comic Section $6

$34 remaining to spend. Might have to look up on the current deals games like Amy and Red Star. Didn't even know that Red Star was made into a PSP game.

Seeing Arcana Heart 3 get a new arcade edition (Love Max!!!!! (yes, complete with those exclamation points) which rebalances along with new moves & systems) makes me wish the PSN version would go on sale one of these days. I tried it and it seemed fun enough, but $30 is outside my price range for download only games. As far as I know, it was never on sale, so I don't know if it ever will since the game came out last year in April.

When you go in the trophies app, there are two sections: Vita only trophies and Playstation Network trophies. The Vita only trophy section gets wiped when you change memory cards.

They automatically sync whenever you look at your trophies and are connected to the Internet. I don't know what would happen if you didn't sync before changing memory cards.

Totally forgot Okami HD had move support. I was considering skipping it since I still have my PS2 copy and a backwards compatible system.. but this sounds like a good enough excuse to rebuy and replay. Anyone here play the Wii version and have some insight into how well motion controls were implemented?

It's not a very good port, and the controls are wonky. I like it, but I severely regret paying full price. Great game, awful execution. $10-20 would be nice. $40 is ludicrous, but I was desperate, thought it'd be awesome, and took a gamble. I do like it though.

Yep digital only.

Well found at least one thing I like about the new store. You can now redeem codes within one text box instead of having to type 4 characters in 3 different one. Was playing with my UK account last night and went to redeem a code for playstation plus that someone traded me and got a bit excited when I found I could type it in all at once.

There were several times I'd forget and be looking down and type my whole code into the first window then look up and curse.

It's just came out a few weeks ago, I don't think a sale is likely any time soon.

I enjoyed what I played with the Wii, though I didn't play a whole lot. The paintbrushing stuff controlled very well with the Wiimote.

That's cool.

in case anyone missed it and may know the answer.

Does Dead Rising off the record share save files from the retail and digital psn release or would i have to start over if i got rid of my retail copy and bought the digital release?

Thanks

Does that game still have the hour full trial? I'd check and try your saves there.
Oh hey Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is out on the 27th of November. Cross-buy for 19.99! The game is going to be released on PSN and will have retail (yay!) copies as well!

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/10/26/ratchet-clank-full-frontal-assault-out-1127-for-19-99/
No retail version for Vita though. I guess it doesn't really matter, for only $19.99 and being cross-buy, most people, myself included, would buy the PS3 version anyways.

Yep, that's the easy way to check when nobody knows the answer.
I'd imagine that if R&C Full Frontal Assault weren't available at retail, it would've been $14.99 as a PSN exclusive.
I've wondered about games like Retro City Rampage and Sound Shapes. If they didn't have cross-buy, would they have only been $9.99?

I don't think so since it wasn't a required feature, but I don't think it's similar to having to produce physical copies that would require/allow them to ask a little more for it.

Also, Retro City Rampage is $15 on PC, which obviously isn't compatible with any other platforms.

That's a good point on RCR, forgot about that.

correct it would have been like Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty

Very much worth it.
One of best title I ever played on vita.

It is fun and addictive.

Agreed, LKS was an amazing game, and this shitty "remake" is more like port with god awful art and a dumbass story.

If you have a Wii, just get the original. Its cheaper, better looking, and a better game all around.

It's not a port or remake, but a sequel that takes place a few years after the first game.
