Asking if PS+ was an exception was also a "stupid question" until someone actually asked Sony about it. So, if Sony ultimately confirms that 59.99 purchases in general work for the promotion, then you're the idiot. No one else.

If you are going to be around on Tuesday the 3rd, the other option is to see whether anything goes on sale you want to purchase on the next, regular store update. As long as you purchase by midnight pacific (though earlier would be better so you don't forget) it will still count toward that promotion.

If I remember correctly, no one asked Sony, they just said straight up that it counts as they were branding that credit back promotion as "buy a year of PS+, get $10 in credit back" as well which sounds better than "buy a year of PS+ and a shit avatar, get $10 credit back."

Fair enough. Doesn't mean it's a "stupid question" though, as someone so eloquently put it. It's Sony's fault in the first place for creating said expectation that a 49.99 purchase counts as 50.00, via the exception they made for PS+.

well as other have said, why risk it for penny? am sure 99.9% that you need to spend $60 unless you see in bold print otherwise or others would then come out wood work saying, i spent 59.95 it should count too! i spent 59.75 it only 25 cent come on ! etc,etc

 
Guys, I just bought the extended warranty for the ps4 using 10 dollars that I got from ps4 purchase: I paid 59.99. I guess I am not eligible because I have a penny missing?? So I just buy something else and i would be eligible, even if I used the 10 dollars credit??

What the heck? I don't understand how this is confusing people. Stores run these sort of promotions all the time. Spend the required amount, get money or a percentage back. Simple. You can't haggle with Best Buy over a penny, lol. The only exception Sony made was for PS+.

Hey guys on a totally unrelated ps question. I'm thinking of maybe jumping on the tablet wagon. The Ipad seems to be the big dog in the block, but considering space, some androids seem to be way more convenient (and price). So any recommendations, anyone has an Air or would you guys recommend a galaxy more? I'm thinking of mostly pdf reading/ daily multitasking, but at some point I might end up trying some programming in either one

 
Hah Legends on Vita for that price seems a bit far-fetched, but it would certainly be interesting to see how close the games get to their floor price.

Deadpool - $17.49

Diablo III - $20.99

God of War: Ascension - $13.99

The Last of Us - $20.99

Saints Row IV - $20.99

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Blacklist - $20.99

Rayman Legends - $20.99

I would be all over Legends Vita at that price. Probably Diablo 3 as well.

How long until someone takes this as fact and gets mad when these games aren't at these prices?
 
I'm sure many have already taken it as fact.  I look forward to the whining and the insults thrown at said whiners.

If those are the prices, I'd probably buy Deadpool and Rayman Legends Vita while heavily considering Diablo III.

Or should I get Rayman Legends on PS3 if it hits that price?  Hmmm.

The good news is at least one of those games has to be that cheap.

I would also be all over Rayman Vita at that price, but I bet only one game on the list will be 65% off. My guess is for GoW: Ascension, as that hasn't seemed to hold it's value well at all, despite the fact that it's a console exclusive.

Diablo 3 is not cross platform in that pc and ps3 players cannot play together. PS3 does not have the auction house and the drops are considerably better in the PS3 version. I played through it and got the platinum trophy on PS3 and I enjoyed it and thought the way everything was laid out for console worked well. It does have local coop and it's same-screen, if one person moves too far off the other teleports to them.

I read that people will be able to import their ps3 characters into the ps4 version set to come out at some point as well.

This makes it easy not to buy any games during BF. Between my physical game blacklog, PS+, and Games with Gold, I have too many games to play.

Edit: Requires credit card and doesn't work if you've ever used a trial on your EU account before.

I love my Nexus 7 and the newer model is supposed to be even better. I know the Tested guys put it on par with the iPad as far as recommending tablets.

So, i downloaded soul sacrifice with ps+, but i can't play online, I checked my download history and there's not a separate online pass, and the one on the store shows up at $10, how are we supposed to get the pass.
On the game menu the online option doesn't even show.

Just when I thought my post went to oblivion Frisky comments on it. Thanks man really appreciate all the input I can get. I've been eyeing the Nexus since the first one came out. If only it had an SD slot that would be awesome. Have you used it for PDFs?

You have to pass a certain point in the story before you can play online. Unless you mean you've passed that point where avalon pacts have opened up for you and still can't play online. The story itself is single player

The only PDF I've used is a Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate strategy guide that I got for pre-ordering it at GameStop that worked fine for what I needed of it.

Now. I was just going to post that Frisky is getting my hopes up too much that Bioshock will be 13.99.

Passing Time on the Vita is pretty fun so far.  Some minigames and even a game of soccer.
