The Halloween sale that they had last year had scary games like Plants vs. Zombies, Costume Quest, Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, and Zen Pinball 2, so that's not necessarily all it offers.

 
I made a list yesterday of how many review scores each PS1 classic has on PSN. This is pretty much the closest thing we have to an all time sales chart, although things are skewed by PS Plus freebies, sales, release dates, and so on.

Here's the full list. Top 25 below. RPD is reviews per day since it was released.

Oh damn!  Anyone else actually hold off on buying games that were on EU PS+ as evidence they are likely come to US PS+?  There are numerous games that either US or EU got "first" and a few months later popped up on the other PS+.  Only reason I haven't bought Mortal Kombat Vita yet :D

 
I guess I'm one of the few that's not that jealous of EU PS+ this month.  Revengeance is nice but I just got it for $10 at Gamefly and I'd like to play through Remember Me at some point, but I can wait for it to hit the $5 or so range. Stranger's Wrath would be nice on Vita but I already have it on PS3 (as do all Europeans long-term PS+ members). Motorstorm RC is not very good and anyone over there who bought Full Frontal Assault (QForce over there) also got it for free.

Like handsomepete mentioned, the first thing that popped out to me was the 4 games listed this month instead of 5.  Wonder what happened to the 5th game?  Think it's just making space for Drive Club on the 29th when PS4 releases over there?

Spend  50 you get 10.. notice it says buy a year of  PSN +  get 10..

if i would put 50 in my account.  and then spend that 50 on psn+  would i get 20 instead of 10

I'm with you. I have Revengeance, I'd rather have Oddworld on PS3, and we already hot R/C. Remember Me is kinda cool but from what I've heard, it's a pretty mediocre game.
 
While Remember Me would be nice lets be honest. It is a failure of a game that seems to "feel" like a European audience would prefer. Most of us would not spend more than $10 for it.  I will be upset when they get a game I am willing to buy on day one.

I don't want a game i'm willing to buy on day one because I would already own it - unless you are talking about the couple of PSN titles that have been free on release date for Plus. That's probably the best way to get a free Plus game since there is no chance Plus users already own it.

What I should have said is a game I am willing to pay full price to play. There are many day one games I never buy since I am cheap and busy. I won't be buying much this holiday for that very fact.

 
Not sure Remember Me is worth getting all that excited about, considering that disappointment with the game seems pretty universal.  The rest is pretty good, tho.

It's really not a failure of a game - it's a terrific (albeit flawed) game with some original ideas and cool environments and money well spent for me. I'm very glad more people will get to play it since I think a lot of people have avoided it due to the mysterious bad word of mouth it gets. I dunno. those are the perfect games to put on PS+ I think.

not having looked it up I imagine it is a 'failure' in the sales department though, which is really too bad.

I agree. Spec Ops was also a "failure" from a commercial standpoint, but it was actually a pretty good game. I wouldn't have spent $20 for it, but I gave it a whirl because it got thrown into PS+ and I was pleasantly surprised. Ditto for Darksiders and Sleeping Dogs.

I'd be happy to see Remember Me on the U.S. schedule.
 
I was speaking of sales when calling it a failure. I reserve judgement on its quality until I play it. Since Sony pays to get these games on PS+ it does not surprise me that underperforming games make the cut. Some money is better than none.

not having looked it up I imagine it is a 'failure' in the sales department though, which is really too bad.

I am pretty close to your opinion on the game. I would not call it terrific, but pretty good. Some small things would have made it in the terrific category for me. The combat system was just not done well enough for hard mode. That was my biggest gripe. You could make it through, but it was frustrating after playing games like Batman where it is damn near perfect. I do not know how many times I would see the ! off screen so I would dodge only to still be hit by whatever was trying to attack me because I was too quick dodging and needed to wait longer?!?!

The combo manipulation was interesting and the story was something original. I really wanted to love it but the core gameplay just fell apart too much at times for me.

I am glad I played it and I am glad more people will get to play it. I am not sure how they could make a sequel with how the story ended without it seeming forced. I would still give it a shot if they made one and the combat system was improved just ever so slightly.

You can be the odd duckling. I think it is an awesome selection and would love for that to be the US offering, even though I own all of those games already. Would love to have MGR and Remember Me digitally on my main account so I can boot it up whenever I want (esp MGR). Yes, I am that damn lazy.

Awesome news, as I recently picked up the Collector's Edition of this game from AWD, and I'm looking forward to playing through it. However, all of the DLC that has been released is multi-player stuff, right? I sure don't remember hearing anything about single-player add-ons or anything like that...

I got the offer for buy a year of PS+ get $10 back in my e-mail this morning. It seems weird that they would act like it's two different promotions when it is clearly the exact same spend $50 get $10 back promotion.

I think they were trying to avoid the flood of questions like, "Does a year of Plus count for $50 since it is only $49.99" that they got flooded with last time. Problem is, they just made things worse.

 
What do my fellow CAGers say about keeping hope alive for a DOA5/ DOA5U dlc sale? I've been super tempted especially with the spend $50 get $10 back but my inner CAG says its too much.

Oh ok. I didn't get that email, but I've seen the promo mentioned several times so I didn't know where others were seeing it.

In general, it does not seem like DLC ever goes on sale unless the game was added to Plus that week or the DLC was on sale previously when the game was a Plus game. At least I can not think of many exceptions to those.
