Only game I'm fairly certain will be added is LBP. I hope my calculation pays off since I've passed up quite a few sales on that. I hope PSABR isn't added because it's downright dreadful. I don't think Sly is a good choice either, considering how downgraded it looks from its PS3 counterpart. Killzone Mercs would be a bold choice, and as others have suggested, they could push DLC for it. Could also serve as an introduction to the series, which in turn could help drive Shadow Fall sales.

That would suck. I just finished Little Big Planet (Although I guess I could always do more online). PS All-Stars I'd take and I already own Sly Cooper. I'd hope for Unit 13, since I've played it, finished it, but never got the platinum. I have Hot Shots as well.
the lbp vita online is literally the worst most laggy and unplayable online I've ever played in my life. and I've tried playing street fighter on my underpowered laptop using my tethered phone's 1 bar 3g connection in the middle of nowhere new mexico.

edit: killzone would be awesome, but the download size would be detrimental to most (4+ gb). maybe that's their devious plan - to force everyone to get bigger memory cards by offering free but gigantic games!

It wouldn't be awesome for exactly the reason you stated. I prefer digital games for my Vita, but almost everyone wouldbe better off grabbing it from Gamestop for $20 on Black Friday. (Soul Sacrifice is also $20.)

With the GS black friday deal, the $10 back for $50, using for PS+, sure takes a dive. But actually it should because you already have a better deal at Best Buy with 1 year for $40. That's $10 off of $50, as opposed to $10 off of $60+ that is the credit back deal.

So PS All-Stars is a common prediction here but how do I already have it on Vita? I certainly didn't pay for it and always thought it was part of the IGC. So does anyone know why people were able to get it free before?

I wonder if I did the Sly 4 trick of buying the ps3 version just to unlock the vita version and then trading it back in for the same price to make it free.

Either via PS3 version on-disc redemption or part of Amazon's AC3 Liberation Vita bundle which included PSASBR Vita and a coupon for AC3.

Oh yeah, totally forgot it was free with the white vita bundle from black friday. Wow, that was a hell of deal. Funny how last year's AC3 bundle for $180 is still better than anything Gamestop is doing this year.

Glad I didn't touch it, lol. I just played the single player campaign. The last level was beyond awesome. It's a shame the online is jank.

I do not disagree they have some great sales on used games. They can afford to since they make insane profits on their used merchandise. New items though? Specifically a new item like a PS Plus card? I am kind of expecting every retailer to have them for $30 now. I just do not see Gamestop dropping the price like that.

Do not confuse me for a Gamestop hater, I have done a lot of business with them. I think I have enough credit to get a PS4 for almost no out of pocket cost. No, that did not come from flipping stuff, just general trade in credit and gift cards for presents from family members. I am just surprised by this particular deal.
They have had deals on PS+ before, tho nothing that good. Also funny since I typically used the Gamestop gift cards I got from eRewards on PS+ subscriptions. (At least, before they raised the redemption of $25 Gamestop cards from $50 to $75 credit.)

I'm debating going for that $30 PS+ year. I'm set through May right now, but don't know if it would be worth it with just a PS3 since I have no plans to get (not can I afford) a PS4 or Vita anytime soon.

I'm leaning towards yes because Sony seems to support previous gen systems for awhile and so I can play all the Plus games I've had to postpone because of backlog.

They're still putting out PS2 games (not much.) There's absolutely no reason to ditch the PS+. It'll be years before it dries up for PS3.

The Nightmare Before Christmas Comes to LittleBigPlanet
This wonderfully dark level kit available next week for both LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita for $4.99 each.

Oh damn.  Certainly milking it though, two different $5 level packs plus the costume pack.  Another $6 for Jack, Sally, Oogie and the doctor guy.

http://littlebigplanet.com/en/downloadable_content_items/1299?t=US

At least it all counts towards the promo I guess.

Also didn't know about the Autumn Creator Kit until I went to look for the costume kit, not sure when it ends.

OH I JUST NOTICED THE MOST EXCITING THING EVER AND CAN'T BELIEVE NO ONE ELSE GOT THIS EXCITED ABOUT IT WHEN THEY POSTED IT (if anyone did since I certainly never saw it).

YOU CAN QUEUE THINGS TO YOUR SYSTEM DIRECTLY FROM THE ITEM ON THE WEB STORE NOW!!!  NO MORE HAVING TO DIG THROUGH A 700 PAGE LIST!

Whaaaat? Did you also know that you can turn on the PS3 by hitting the PS button on the controller?

No, no, no not that. That you can activate that directly from the item listing now instead of going and digging through every thing you've ever purchased or downloaded on PSN.

Just added a couple things to my queue from that button which just used to tell you that you already owned it. That's a feature we've all bemoaned since they enabled the web queue.

As someone who just got a 2nd PS3 though I'm not crazy about the download to all your ps3s...what if I only want it on one?

Doesn't work that way sadly, never has with web queue. Have to do it from that system, though you can always cancel it if you don't have it auto download over night.

Am I the only one completely shocked by the Gamestop BF Ad scan that is showing PS Plus yearly cards for $30. I am already a member until 2016, but I will definitely be adding to that now.

Looks like my hope for PSASBR for $10 is also going to come true. I will definitely be picking that up so I can play on PS3 and Vita.
PSASBR is on clearance at BB for $10 right now, if your store still has it. You can save gas and check the clearance items online for all the stores near you. I picked mine up a couple weeks ago.

Holy shit this is awesome, except I JUST finished redownloading things onto my two new 32GB Vita memory cards two days ago. This definitely wasn't there two days ago because it would have made my life about 5 times easier. So awesome, but at the same time, fuck!

Also, you guys should make sure to understand what people are saying before trying to shit on them. Lol

It's nice to see Resogun reconfirmed for PS+ at launch despite tylerh suggesting it might not happen for NA PS+. I guess most people here stopped at the Contrast part since they mention something very interesting right below the trailer:

We’re also offering members access to an exclusive “Open Weekend” trial of Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer on December 28-29.
It would be cool if they could do these Steam-style free weekends often for various games.

Oh damn. Certainly milking it though, two different $5 level packs plus the costume pack. Another $6 for Jack, Sally, Oogie and the doctor guy.
How is it milking? There's a version of the level pack for LBP2 and a version for the Vita game to take advantage of what each offers in terms of controls.

one word: FINALLY.

$16 for two level kits and four costumes. The level kits also don't contain a costume like most of the other ones have and seem to contain identical stuff for building levels. Could have charged a little more and just made it cross buy or at least included a unique costume with both. Something to justify it for the people who will buy both because it's Nightmare instead of knowing you can get away with charging more because it's Nightmare.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there are many, if any, level packs that are Cross Buy, especially since very few of them are on both systems. I don't know why you'd expect them to start now, so you'll have to convince me on that one.

First time I read it, I understood it as "Free multiplayer weekend" where they would lift the PS+ restriction for online gaming like Xbox does once in a while with their free Gold weekends. But now that you've re-brought it to my attention, that is really cool. I agree with you, I hope they're able to do is semi-regularly like Steam does. It's a great way to give everyone a free taste of the game, and depending on how they do the download, they can basically have people have the game fully installed on their hard drive so they're only one click away from owning the game if they enjoy the free weekend.

I'm sure they could do it with a temporary unlock like they do with the full demo downloads when you buy certain full games.

I've just used a 1 Year PS Plus Card which I purchased during the $39.99 BB sale. Will I receive a $10 credit from PSN for using the card to sign up for 1 year Plus subscription? I have another 1 year PS Plus card on the way, if I add another year of Plus before 10/29 will I receive additional $10 credit? Thank You!

Nope x 2.

So, after finishing Beyond, I decided to give Heavy Rain another chance. Also wanted an excuse to use the move. To my surprise, it actually works really well. Quite intuitive. Much better experience than with the Dualshock. So, yeah. In case anyone was wondering. Wish I could say the same for Okami. :(

That kind of makes me want to go back to BBY and grab it now... stop that. ;)

I guess I'm in the minority, but I loved Heavy Rain. Which is weird, because I don't like anything.

I liked Heavy Rain a lot, which is odd since I don't like a lot of those "interactive" games like the Telltale Games and such.  I'm looking forward to checking out Beyond when it hits $10.

Didn't care for Django as much as I thought I would.  Felt a little bloated and oddly paced.  Still, worth a buck if you haven't seen it.
