Hey guys if you havent played it get walking dead. Its a great game and you do not have to be fans of the show. Its a different story set in the same universe. It was a great game though. I 100% on 360. One of the better gaming experiences in awhile.

Does anyone happen to know if the 10 dollars back for spending 50 promo will include purchases on the 29th? If so will it be til midnight? Just til the store updates? I'd like to include some stuff from the sale of the dead week 2, but not sure if it will work like that

Yes, you have until about the end of the day Pacific time to get them in.

Haven't check this thread in a while, really sad I missed Okami HD (like really sad, fucking college...) but excited as hell for Siren next week. And maybe Fatal Frame.

Thanks, validated my decision not to go for the platinum. Damn, and I was looking forward to hitting 14 before you hit 140 too!

So I guess I'm done with Hotline Miami for now. It was a pretty good game, but certainly didn't live up to the massive hype I heard about it. 7.5/10 on the Tyler scale.
If it was on Wii U, you would have given it a 9, minimum. Jerk.

How soon did you play if after release? I played it a few months after release and with the all the patches that had come out by then I had zero issue with the game on disc.
I bought it day of release and had it for a while. I bought it again on disc a few months ago and game always lagged or froze.

Took a shot and bought it off psn and I notice the difference. It's better than the disc by far and more stable while playing online.

Not trying to be that guy or anything but 100%/Platinum-ing The Walking Dead isn't really hard considering all you have to do is finish it lol

But yes it's a great game. I now own it on iOS, PS3, PC & Vita. Playing through on Vita now and I really like the blend of regular analog stick movement and touch controls for actions

Good thing you didn't want to be that guy, but still managed to be that guy.

And technically, 100%ing the game requires more than just finishing it as 400 Days has a missable trophy.

Does anyone else find the people/zombies/player in The Last Guy really hard to see?  The flickering menus were awful but I could barely tell what was going on while I was playing the demo.  Still like the concept and it's only $2 but it seems like I won't even really be able to play it.

Conversely I was on the fence with Dead Nation but the demo really sold me on it.

Auto aim makes Hotline super easy. The first time I played I could barely get through the first four chapters in the hour plus I played. I just blasted through five chapters in like 20 minutes.

Finally started The Walking Dead series and holy shit is all I can say. I cant believe I sat on this game so long.

Just ended up buying the Vita one as well
They are good games, but at chapter 5 I stopped playing, the formula just got old. Don't ask me how I was able to beat 999 and watch all endings. Now I'm playing VLR and man skipping and jumping on the flow screen is such a great addition.

Mmmm just noticed Malicious Rebirth, I liked Malicious hopefully this one makes it into the IGC :D

Any thoughts on Zombie Apocalypse: Never Die Alone if you only will play it solo?

I'm about $8 short of $50 and was considering Castlevania next week until I read that it's not good if you don't play it co-op.

If I don't pick-up ZA:NDA and something else I'll probably just grab The Wolf Among Us season pass.

It's not that great. I'll be getting Castlevania if you want to add me.

I didn't really have any issues with it in The Last Guy.

The formula got old for me in the first chapter. I'd ratjer just watch a movie than play something like that. From what I've read, I'm sure ilI'll be skipping a lot in VLR when I get around to it.

Well, I failed my inner-CAG and bought Lone Survivor at full price.

Holy crap. I'm glad I did. Greatly enjoying this one.

Avoid mirror of fate hd- I played 3DS version and it's not terrible but just extremely mediocre

It's like playing god of war in 2D- sounds cool but after chaining the average enemy 14 times before it dies it gets very repetitive

Listen to the PS Blogcast, as they have an interview in the new episode with Grace Chen and Nick Colberg from the PS Store team. I'll go listen to the segment and report back with what they talk about.

Edit: It starts at about the 47 minute mark.

On the update time:

Nick Colberg: Since April, they've had about 30 publishes and aimed to release between 12-3 PM Pacific. They only missed six times and they don't count a Monday publish due to maintenance. They're aiming to shorten that window from 12-3 PM Pacific to 2-3 PM Pacific now.

Later on, about the update time:

Nick: "We're starting to hit 2 PM [Pacific] pretty consistently. I feel pretty confident with that."

Sid also mentions that they'll alert people via their Twitter account when they miss the 2 PM Pacific/5 PM Eastern target.

On the update process:

Nick: They not only update three storefronts (PSP, Vita, PS3) plus the web store, but they manage them across six countries. "I wish it was as easy as just working harder or throwing more people at it. We have some, you know, really complicated problems that we need to solve in order to do that. We work really hard on that."

'It changes literally right up until we publish. You know, we'll have things ready to go and we'll find out that a price has changed in Mexico and it'll just kind of throw a wrench in everything. And this stuff happens all of the time."

On how many people work on the PS Store team:

Nick: There are 15 people on his Operations team and 15 people on the QA team. "There's so many people behind the scenes that have their hand in this. There's the merchandising team that works under Grace. There's an ad operations team. There are marketing teams, both for first and third-party games. There's so many people that go in on just one store publish."

Sid: "Can you confirm that there is no PlayStation Store publish button, like a big, red button that everyone thinks about? That's not how this works, right?"

Nick: "No. It's, um, it's very complicated. There's a billion little buttons that go into the store publish."

How is Corpse Party 1 and 2?
also is the Corpse Party sale ending this week or next week update?
Very creepy games. The first Corpse Party is a retro adventure style game with you exploring a haunted school. The sequel is more of a visual novel with minimal gameplay. Watch a couple of gameplay vids on Youtube to see if it's your thing or not.

Listen to the PS Blogcast, as they have an interview in the new episode with Grace Chen and Nick Colberg from the PS Store team. I'll go listen to the segment and report back with what they talk about.

Edit: It starts at about the 47 minute mark.

Thanks. Works perfect for me since I get off work at 3:30pm Pacific.

hopefully they will release  next week   if we are getting  3 new vita games in nov.

if they are cheap enough (sub 5)

crazy market

and the zombie game

Regarding the Corpse Party sale, blog entry from 10/22 sheds light on sale's ends date (Nov 6th)...

Well, fear not! You can make up for it on the cheap, since Corpse Party will be available on the North American PlayStation Store for $9.99 – half off its regular price! – from tomorrow’s Store update until two updates later on November 6th.

You do realize that article is from 2012, right?

Good thing you didn't want to be that guy, but still managed to be that guy.

And technically, 100%ing the game requires more than just finishing it as 400 Days has a missable trophy.
And technically, 400 Days is DLC and not integral to beating the main game then and getting the platinum trophy/100%.

Remember Me is an easy plat. Got it in a few days. Id run with a collectible guide tho, some of those are crazy hard to find but each chapter lists what saramechs, sat n focus patches and memories you are missing. I ran through on hard and then redid some boss fights on easy. Peace

Sorry if this has been asked.. does anyone know if the buying the $49.99 Battlefield Premium is only good for getting the maps on the PS3 version? I'm not seeing anything that specifically says PS4 so I'm a little unsure about buying it yet.

thinking back they have been way more consistent with the store updates here recently. it used to be so awful. seemed like whenever i actually wanted something really badly the store wouldnt update until like 11pm.

OK. So far on the first week sale I got

Resident Evil 4

The Last Guy

Telltale's The Walking Dead PS Vita version

Red Dead Redemption with Undead Nightmare and Multiplayer DLC

Sleeping Dogs with Nightmare In North Point, Zodiac Tournament, Top Dog Gold Pack, and The Monkey King Pack

Dead Rising 2 Off the Record

....Yup, I'm ready for Tuesday's sales with confidence

Premium will transfer from PS3 to PS4 and 360 to One, just not the other platforms. It might be a one way thing though, like once you transfer no more premium on current gen. Stats/unlocks/etc. also will carry over to the next gen.

From the DLC's page (click on "Add to Cart"):

"Purchase Battlefield 4 Premium on PS3 and get access to all Season Pass DLC on both PS3 and PS4 system."
