I already brought Ibb and Obb back in the Summer.  Fun game.  Really recommend it.  It was interesting trying to communicate with the other player on what to do. XD

I'll probably pick up 2 more years of PS+ on BF

i watched some gameplay videos and since i dont have any co-op partner available it looked mind melting trying to do it single player. but i'll give it a try for free i guess.

It's doable in single player. I done a level or two. There are parts where you wished you have another player. There's an online co-op where you play with a random person. The other player and I got stuck at a point where we didn't want to do and kept drawing "?". XD

 
Hrm, I have a 360 save for DD and picked up Dark Arisen cheap to take advantage of the extras you get.  Unsure if it's worth the hassle to dump that copy, pick up a PS3 vanilla, establish a save, toss it and play the PS+ version.

 
So were getting this ps+ lineup plus the IGC refresh? I figured Soul Sacrifice was coming, it was either that or Ragnarok since both have sequels and expansions coming soon. Hopefully P4G comes as well.

 
Okay...a few things...

1.  Fairly excited about the November games.  Looking forward to DD, BD and Oddworld.  I'm also excited because I've had Soul Sacrifice since it released and now by buddy who just bought a Vita last month will be able to play it with me.  He had been putting off buying it.  Treats for him.  No complaints from me as I have been waiting to play Kingdoms of Amular since it came out and we got it last month.  Now I just gotta finish GTAV.

2.  Didn't go back to look for the post to quote it but somebody basically ripped my thoughts on Sine Mora out of my brain and typed them out.  The "story" pisses me off and I fast forward through it with as much haste as fast forwarding through the "story" part at the start of porn.  WTF.  The backgrounds on the game are amazing.  I know some people said they get killed because they can't see incoming fire.  I get killed because I'm always looking at the backgrounds.  And the "dialogue" that brought on the M rating is totally pointless.  I like the game but, damn, it could have been sooooooooooo much better.

3.  All the talk about PS4 not supporting MP3s or CD playback:  The CD playback does not surprise me at all.  We have known for quite a while that the console makers were trying to get away from physical media.  The MP3 surprised me a bit but I can see the outcry being loud enough that it gets added via a patch at a later time much in the same manner it did with the PSP.

4.  I will say something very unCAG-like.  I know some of you are waiting to see if P4G will go to the IGC.  Your call but at 20 dollars it is a steal.  Bought it at 40.  Loved it so much I would have paid twice that amount.  It was one of the rare games that actually held my interest through 75 hours...and that is saying a lot.  I just started P3P and I'm loving it too.

5.  Frisky rocks.  I always stop for an extra moment to admire Breakfuss' avatar.  Doink the Clown grew up fifteen minutes from me (Ellwood City, Pa).  I would write more but I have to poop.

Mp3 support will so get patched since right now it looks like they're screwing everyone into their Sony Music plan.

P4G was $14 recently brand new. So make that your break point.
 
This is the only thread I ever read anymore. I don't need to buy many games due to plus and wanting to kill my backlog so I can get to next Gen next year. you all make it so entertaining to read. Even with the piss all over the walls in here I always come back. And thanks to friksy and his updated op vast knowledge and smart ass remarks. I love it all.

I keep thinking I need to fill the card slot with that ONE game that I could play on and off forever (or until my Vita breaks) but the slot is still empty because I have so much digital content through PS+ (mostly free but also some older discounted games like the Persona and FF games).

 
Maybe I'm the only one, but I actually subscribe to Music Unlimited (MU).  The preset stations are not that great, but they do get most of the new cd releases.  Listening to the new Arcade Fire actually right now.  My playlists work across devices (PC, Android, PS3, Vita).  I find it a better value than the google play subscription service (that's 9.99 per month, I got MU for $40 for the year).  Pandora and other services are great too, but if you want access to the latest cd's then I think MU is worth it.  My 0.02.

 
I had DD but got a bit bored of it....was about 1/2 way through...so I ended up giving it to my bro...now we get this one so should get the extras...will likely play it but it will go so far to the backlog it will be bad.

I considered MU. I liked the free trial I got about a month and a half ago, and was pretty impressed by the amount of content they had. Having said that, I can't even find somewhere to purchase a 1-year sub. The trial I had ended and when I click "upgrade" it says there are no upgrade packages available. I do see that it costs 4.99 a month for the streaming and I'm not too thrilled with that (it's higher than PS+ even not counting the PS+ promotions I always sign up for.) I could see myself getting a year sub for $50 or better yet $40. Maybe next time there's a $10 back on $50 if there's an actual 1-year sub I can purchase rather than having to do the monthly thing.

 
I'm sure MU is a decent service, but the iOS app doesn't get very good reviews, so that scared me off as that's the primarily way I'd listen to it.

I'd listen to it off my PC (it works quite nicely on it) or via Android (which I haven't tested.) If I were paying, though, I'd be looking into whether it can download files locally for when I'm out on my phone. I try not to use mobile data, but have wifi in a lot of places I go.

 
To say I am not a big fan of Sony would be a massive understatement, but I have to give credit where credit is due as they have made PS+ VASTLY superior to XBox Live Gold, in regards to the overall value of the service. Whosever idea it was to start the free to play service should get a promotion. It was a great idea and I have to give mad props to Sony for really going all out and offering high quality titles on the service as they could have easily skimped and made the service about cheaper titles. It was really an ingenious move as it took the focus off of Sony going from a free service to a paid service (something they said they wouldn't do). Instead of people complaining about having to pay for online play, they are instead praising the free games they will be getting as each month passes. Basically the move from a free service to PS+ was just perfectly played all the way around. Sony is just destroying MS on this front and its making MS's sales and deals look worse and worse with each passing month. Makes me wish I was a PS+ member.

You can download files locally to your phone when on WiFi and play them when you are off network. I think you need to use the MU Android app which works fine by the way. Can't speak for the iOS version. Hopefully they will run more promotions after PS4 release. I'd like to lock in 1 more year for $40 if I could.

 
Your time played on GTA V kind of boggles my mind. Since release, approximately 1100 hours have passed and it says you have played it 441 hours? Combine that with only 5 trophies and it hurts my brain.

Yeah, 50% cross-buy discount is very generous, but shared trophy list means I'll probably pass.

Does it count time if you just leave it there paused?

I remember playing RE4 HD and looking at the time played being really high, until I realized I would pull up inventory screen instead of pausing it, and leave it for hours at a time, and that time on the inventory screen counted as "time played" on my save file.

Game sucks for me at least as I found everything about it bland. Maybe I just have higher standards with SRPGs but I tried playing this game three times and all three times I asked myself why am I torturing myself.

thanks, that's terrible news. I loves me some srpgs and will play ff tactics on vita when I need a fix, but still looking for a decent native vita srpg. Guess I'll keep looking.

Can you play Orge Tactics on the vita, that is a good one too.

Too bad you can't play some of the ps2 srpgs on the vita, they had some really good ones.

 
I liked Rainbow Moon. I never finished it though, because I got to a spot that ended up being so grind heavy. I'm normally not opposed to grinding, but if think while I was playing it, the MGS4 trophy patch came out so I put down Rainbow and haven't returned...yet.
