nice just grabbed hydrophobia for $3. glad i waited because yesterday i almost bought it on steam for $5. 2 bucks can go a long way.
 
i was thinking do you think they were gonna have maintenance just in case that leap year bug happened again like it did march 1st two years ago? that would have sucked. glad ps3 is working today tho ;)
oh and kz3 mp trophies won't sync with servers yet, argh. if you look at your profile on psn/ps3 it wont show them

just got 12000 xp in a round of warzone in killzone 3 mp, wish that double xp was working... Tactician fortheWIN

When are the deals for the Gamer's Choice Awards going to start? I'm going to out of town from Thursday (3/8) to Tuesday (3/13) and I'll be away from my PS3. Does anybody know an approximate on when those deals are going to go live or end? Did Sony post the dates yet or not?

I know I know they are still gathering the data on which games will be on sale...Just want to know if they posted the date of the deal because I can't seem to find it.
 
The voting lasts for one week and the winners go on sale starting with the next update on Tuesday. It's mentioned in the official announcement:

Don’t go too far because the winning games in each category will be announced right here on the PlayStation Blog in just one week–on March 6, 2012–and that same day, the winning game in each category will be discounted 30% in the PlayStation Store for one week, with a special 50% discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

I went into the store last night n voted for the games. Hopefully Tetris or one of the other ones I voted for wins and is 50% off current price(or more for PS+ members, which I am now till June:booty).

How's Crush? Does it have unlockables like in the DS demo? Played the demo and now I really want to play the full version and the PSP version is only $5!

Keyword in those statements is MOST. But some of us like to get as many games as we can for our money, even if it is digital money that's already in Sony's grasp before we spend it on the store.
 
Festival of Blood wasnt even worth 10 bucks. I mean it was a cool concept, but 9 missions and you are done. Doesnt even take that long to beat, and a few of those missions were annoying. Im not saying its terrible, because it was cool. But it should have been a lot longer.

I voted because i wanted themes, but the themes turned out to be garbage.

Yeah. The themes were garbage(big blue screen with the best of 2011 n the games from each category on each 'theme'). Meh.

you said it was cool, why is a cool game not worth 10 measly dollars?

how long should a 10 dollar game be? many 60 dollar games these days are barely 5-6 hours

I didn't play the DS demo so I don't know how it compares, but it's a sweet game on PSP. I'm tempted to grab it so I can play on the Vita.

PS+ gets Journey a week early (so on the 6th). No discount, but still getting it a week early is cool. I'll probably resubscribe just to get it.

He can wait until the end of March to get April I suppose. Depends on how soon he really wants it. Or maybe he was just hoping out loud for something good in the last month.

So can one person stack those 3 codes they gave, or is it one per account? I can't find the thread about that anymore.

I guess you have a point, lol. I was just wondering why there hasnt been any info, since it usually is posted at the end of the previous month. At least thats what seems to be on playstation blog. I could be wrong, i really dont pay much attention to PS3 that much.

It usually is, but seeing as February is a short month and the new month starts at the end of a week, they'll just hold off till probably sometime this weekend when the deals for this upcoming week get announced.

i remember reading in the thread someone mentioned sony knew it wasnt popping for people.
i just redeemed my kz3 strategy guide i got for $5 clearance at walmart and got another 3 unlock points.
fingers crossed this works for the mp game and not just the disk...

kz3 unlock codes from future-press strategy guides dont work anymore. they sent me a code after i registered the guide asap, but upon redeeming on psn store it says it is no longer valid/expired. oh wellz. hopefully we still get those 24hrs 2x xp and 3 more free unlock codes. i needed triage++ for a trophy yesterday, and now I need engineer repair ++ to get another trophy. lol

I don't know why people are ignoring me when I say it's 100% coming next week. They don't really post that type of stuff on the weekends, as it's just the recap and The Drop unless there's a special event happening.

$3 is really cheap for a game. That boarders on iPhone game prices on a PS3 but I've heard bad stuff about Hydrophobia. Has anyone played it and can you please give your opinions of it?

nevermind to the above question. I just went back several pages and read. People are split, some think it's worth $3, some don't. It's the first part in a trilogy that will never have the second and third parts made. I'm going to have to pass on this even at $3 since it's going to be a game with no resolution...ever.

Hey a new theme, sounds nice actually. I was complaining earlier that I wanted to play this game early and Sony listened.

Quick and probably stupid question: How do I actually vote for the sale next week? I can't seem to find a link online to the voting site...

Too bad Journey can be played in 2 hour or so. The game looks beautiful and I will grab it when it drops.

I bought Flower on Day 1 for $10 and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Not sure about paying $15 for Journey. I probably will not get it Day 1 since Mass Effect 3 will be keeping me busy, might buy it when it goes on sale for $10 hopefully during the summer.

I´m a PS+ member, I bought Killzone 3 multiplayer and it finished downloading at Friday morning.
The PS blog says that the double point weekend is going from "8:00am PT on 3/2 through 2:00am PT 3/5", but I´m not getting any double point at the end of the multiplayer matches, does anyone else have the same problem?

March 1 UPDATE: The team has resolved the issue with the XP bonus and 3 free unlock points, so anyone who purchases the Killzone 3 multiplayer will now have access to this added content. And rest assured, for those who purchased the multiplayer already we will be awarding the content very soon via XMB message with voucher code where the items can be unlocked. We appreciate everyone’s patience during this fix and as a reminder we look forward to seeing you all out on the battlefield for the Double XP weekend (going from 8:00am PT on 3/2 through 2:00am PT 3/5)

They will be sending you a voucher code via the XMB to redeem the double XP and 3 unlock points.

yeah that sucks they do that. i work till midnite tonite, so i guess no mw3/kz3 tonite. oh wellz. i have to plat happyfeet 2 anyway... im such a dork ;)

n thanx for the kz3 voucher info, i dont wanna max out my level already so i dont need that double xp but nice to know. also kz3 mp trophies aren't syncing with Sony's servers anyway, so trophies on that don't really matter til they get it fixed/updated anyway.

cheapest hit me up if you wanna play some battlefield together. i still need that 100 rounds trophy, so im down for run n gunning with ya

Oh goody. Developers/publishers really need to make a workaround for when Sony decides to black out the whole service for almost a day or in the event they get hacked again. This is especially true since I've really gotten into that Battlefield 1943 that EA gave away to people who bought BF3 and I've been playing that for hours at night lately.:D Even though I'm getting my ass handed to me many times by people who are insanely good it's still fun as hell. But that's likely because of the inclusion of vehicles and the fact you can snipe people from half a world away.;)

I have a question, is uncharted's Fortune hunter DLC worth $25? And will PS+ get journey next week on the 6th?

That maintenance is ill timed, not only its too long but it on the week end wtf.
 
have they done any patching with the kz3 multiplayer? matchmaking was pretty bad.... especially finding a DLC map. I ended up alone in rooms before, or joining games where before i entered it was 3v0. not to mention how badly tactician class was needed yet everyone would rather play a cloaking or disguise class and run out the timer.
 
im so bad at times. i thought it would be dead tonite, but actually tomorrow right? der

i thought 12pm was midnite, but thats noon. im so high, lol

also got my kz3 unlocks through psn, thanx!

and yeah iv entered games 0-3 like 6 vs 12, oh wells

using my x2 xp now, just got 45,000 and 55,000 xp. went from level 25-27 in two rounds ;)
