This might have already been answered, but here goes:

If you're on the 30-day free period of PS+, and you purchase a game that's on discount to PS+ users, does it get disabled once the free period is over?

It's answered in the FAQ that's in the OP, but the answer is no. Anything you buy is yours to keep.

ahh so im guessing you can't keep your themes after 30 days then :cry:
 
Sorry if this has been answered:

1) if you have multiple alt accounts, can you pick up all the games?
2) if you don't have PSP, can you still "register" PSP games in case you do end up buying a PSP/NGP in the future?

Games, Qore episodes, and DLC are the only things that expire from what I can tell.

I need help, the second game glitch happened to me so I went to transaction management and found the promotion. However, it does not let me do anything else?
Edit: I solved my problem

Yes to both questions, however I think you may need a PSP to "register" PSP games for EU accounts. I was able to download Dead Nation + Ratchet & Clank on my EU account, and Wipeout HD + Superstardust HD on my US account. It let me download 2 PSP games on my PS3 using my US account but I saw no option to do so on my EU account.

Thanks! I guess it's lucky I made a bunch of alt accounts a month prior to PSN going down.
 
The store is up, but there's so much traffic that it's just sending out cryptic error messages most of the time. If you keep trying you'll be able to navigate through it.
 
You do have a month to get in on the freebies. There's no rush.

And if anybody tried to download Home's 100 free items, transactions are not working there either.
 
downloaded Infamous for PS3 and Little Big Planet for PSP, i will probably get Little Big Planet for PS3 and trade in my disc copy and I am undecided on what my second PSP title will be. I am thinking of Modnation Racers but Pursuit Force looks pretty sweet...

The PS+ deals right now aren't that great. There will be some months that suck but I can't forget the Sam & Max Episodes 1-5 and Stacking release day all for FREE. Those two together would be the price of a year subscription so I hope for more great deals like this in the future. I bet a lot of people will not subscribe after the month then a great deal will come. Also I'm glad I stacked another 15 months on my previous subscription and the 60 days from Sony. I have plenty of time to get some great deals.
 
I'm trying to download WipeoutHD, and it gave me a Estimated time of 380 minutes. I'd say the store and site are getting fucked doggystyle right about now...

Ill probably get stardust now as that's the only other PS3 game i don't currently own.

Oh, that's not what I meant. I was saying that I think they'll offer a deal on the PS+ subscription right around the time the free month is expiring for everyone. That way they give everyone a free taste and then try to lure them in for the long run with a discount on a paid subscription (kind of like a crack dealer). I think that would be a smart play on their part.

After reading your post again I figured that out. Well it would be in there best part to offer a deal to get people to subscribe. All I can say is if you buy a lot of games PS+ is a great program. I can only see it getting better in the future since its not even a year old yet. I believe it started June of last year.
 
Uh.. I know someone in this topic said they got the Sam & Max episodes AND Stacking for free but... When I ended my Playstation Plus subscription after 6 great months and then 3 shitty months (because the service itself fucked me over), I was NOT able to play Stacking anymore. It turned into the trial version.
 
In regards to PS+ deals and what happens when it expires,

If you get it for free = you lose it.
If you get it cheaper = you keep it.

Yeah, if you cancel PS+ you lose all free games. You only keep the ones you bought (even those at a discount).
 
Tried to DL LBP and infamous earlier. Neither worked, but in transaction management LBP was there, but not infamous. So I dunno what to do here.
 
Ok so I'm doing LBP & infamous for DL's so I can trade in my discs to hastings (2 get extra $10, 3 get extra $20) so do you think they will change up the free game offers? like offer other games later on?

Nope, it would piss too many people off, what you see for free now is all there is going to be.

+ should update a couple times before the month is out though, if I'm not mistaken. It's a good opportunity to buy any games that interest you with the + discounts, as you do get to keep any purchases once the trial month ends, just not the free games (and the reason I still refuse to pay for +)

I wouldn't expect anything less then the bare minimum.

Just like the free items given on Home...they give you the Mansion, garage. Surely as just an advertisement for you to buy the whole mansion.

for plus members it starts on the 28th and July 3rd for everyone else

We have 30 days to join + and it's 30 days long right? Or do we have 45 days? I know I read that a while back but I don't remember how long it is.
 
I think I just screwed up. I put "Dead Nation" into the shopping cart and then followed up with "InFAMOUS". It turns out that "Dead Nation" disappeared from the cart, although "InFAMOUS" stayed and was ready to be purchased (for free). Now I can't seem download "Dead Nation" without paying for it. Is there anything else I can do or contact someone who can help?
