Found me a used Sony Gold Wireless Headset at Goodwill for $25 last year. I literally use it everyday and it still works.
Damn you would wear something used that people put on their ears. Nah I'm good. When I worked at Apple we would just send that type of stuff (headphones in and out of ear) back to the retailer for hygiene concerns.

Exactly what I was waiting on. Now Black Friday sale and its mine.
Despite the base game always being in the $20 range for the past year I kept putting off buying it because of bad timing, so this works out for me.

Especially now that I look at it closer, didn't realize the season pass was $50, that is crazy.

Just ew @ using used headsets....I really hope you bleached that thing to hell before you started using it.
yeah of course. I replaced it with new pad cushions and cleaned it with alcohol wipes and rubbing alcohol witth q tips. So far no ear infections lol. You guys need to shop at goodwill. They're are spot for video game items, especially retro games.

Ignore these stuck up hipocrites. That was a great deal! If I found that deal at a local goodwill I would totally buy it as a back-up pair for the ones I already own.

Don't let these germophobes bother you!

Exactly. It's not like you wear them on your butthole.

Killing Floor 2 is my 200th plat. Easy fun game that I beat too fast. Double xp weekend also helped get to that max level 25. Fun game.

If anyone needs help beating Hell on Earth hit me up, im gonna level up some more classes before I delete it.

also I hope FO4 goty plays alot better than FO3 goty. I heard that was a mess

Has anyone here purchased or played Night in the Woods? Was considering purchasing it, but wanted some opinions on if its worth the 19.99 asking price.

To be fair, you have a small army helping you, lol.

I have... something like 97 or 98. I'm 'committed' to stop going for plats after I hit 100, so I avoid stupid traps like I'm in now, where I've done so many stupid fucking hard challenges in Just Cause 3 that I now feel like I have to do even stupiderer harderer challenges for the plat, since 'quitting' doesn't make sense. Same goes for collectathon games where I don't realize 1 last trophy takes 20 hours of searching a map or something. At least JC3 makes collecting easy.

I say that now... but I don't know that I can avoid trying for plats for drpgs, soulsgames, racing games, and naughty dog games. But at least maybe I can stop trying for them for stupid games? I don't know.

Just Cause 3 is an absolute blast at least... but it's got hella hard challenges in there.

Is was worth it to me and is one of my favorite games of the year so far. No clue if it's going to be worth it to you because I don't know what type of games you like and what makes you consider a game worth its asking price.

I enjoyed Life is Strange, King's Quest, and Oxenfree. I believe Night in the Woods is in the same genre as those games.

https://blog.us.playstation.com/2017/08/11/introducing-no-mans-sky-atlas-rises/

Big update for No Man's Sky today that adds a bunch of cool stuff to the game.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYSYOGT3KGc

Atlas Rises

Featuring a new central storyline players can discover more about the universe and themselves, as well as a wide array of new and improved features. Whether you’re a veteran interloper or completely new to the No Man’s Sky universe, there has never been a better time to start your journey.

Full patch notes are available here.

Here’s a quick run down of the main features:

  • 30 hours of branching story and deeper lore
  • Procedurally generated guild missions
  • Much deeper interstellar trading
  • Star Systems have varying wealth, conflict and economies
  • Overhauled Space combat controls, weapons and AI
  • Portals stargates enable quick travel
  • Terrain manipulation for more complex bases
  • New farming and mining interactions bring increased depth
  • Increased biome variety and Rare exotic biomes
  • Analysis visor & discovery improvements
  • Galaxy map and many other UI improvements
  • New S Class ship designs
  • Low altitude flight and the ability to crash your ship
  • Crashed Freighters to salvage on planets
  • Joint exploration
Our story gives a new context, quest system and branching narrative to No Man’s Sky. In the Atlas Rises story, the fabric of existence is starting to falter. A mysterious new interdimensional race have appeared, and ancient portals have begun to open.

Glitches in the simulation, visualised by strange floating orbs, allow players to see and communicate with up to 16 other travellers and explore the universe together.

While interaction with others is currently very limited, this is an important first step into the world of synchronous co-op in No Man’s Sky.

We hope you enjoy this and what follows – look forward to seeing you out there!

This week marks the one year anniversary of No Man’s Sky and on behalf of myself, and the team at Hello Games I just want to say – Thank you for this year. Thank you for playing, providing feedback, discovering, sharing and so much more…

I'll have to give Hello Games some credit. They didn't fold up their tents after all the hate they got when the game first launched. I'm probably one of the few that got 20+ hours of enjoyment out of NMS at launch so maybe I'll reinstall it and give the new content a look.
I don't own the game but the drama around it never bothered me much. It always just looked like a laid back flying around space game, very relaxing. I still plan to buy it eventually when it gets super cheap.

So I claimed the season pass of Life Is Strange on PS+ some time ago but never installed it; went to grab the first episode the other day, and it said Ep 1 expires when my Plus does.

I thought waiting until after the giveaway month was supposed to make 'em free; is that only a Telltale glitch?

I too was never bothered and planned on picking it up cheap.. looks like waiting may have paid off because this patch looks like it puts the game closer to Sean Murray's original vision which was the game people were originally excited for.

So I finished Yakuza 0 last night. First Yakuza game I've played and was not disappointed at all. Story was over the top, funny, dramatic and really made me care for all the characters. Really looking forward to the release of Kiwami, really @ $30 for the remake from what I just experienced seems like a very good price, especially if the story is just as good as 0 was. Hopefully they do end up remaking 2 - 5, only problem is I'll have to wait a long time before that happens (if it does)

Kiwami is going to be my first Yakuza game and I am really excited. The series always looked right up my alley but I never got into it because I am a stickler for playing games in order and by the time I realized I wanted to check the series out I no longer had a working PS2. Really hope Yakuza 2 gets the same treatment since it's only playable on PS2 as well it seems.

I tried a Yakuza game on PS3.   I wanted to love it... there was so much to love.  But so many mini-games... iirc I entered a karaoke bar and didn't leave after like 5 hours, burning myself out on the entire game.

Yeah, I agree that there are way too many mini-games in the Yakuza series especially if you have any thought of going for the Platinum. I have all of them but Dead Souls is the only one where I have actually finished the story. Think I'll wait and see if I can get around to at least finishing 0's story missions before I consider getting Kiwami.

Finally decided to move my PS4 to my main TV since the kids no longer play it. Put on Hellblade with my surround sound and, holy crap is the sound incredible in that game. Definitely a game played with either really good headphones or surround sound. Amazing stuff they did with that game.
