Getting Sony rewards points for earning trophies is excellent news! Just worried that hackers/cheaters will end up causing Sony to kill the offer...

I'm surprised Agents of Mayhem was just a blip on the radar. I picked it up from Redbox for like 15 and am having a blast.

It feels like GI Joe meets Saint's Row. You start with 3 characters, but can unlock a lot more... each has a unique weapon and skill set. Brawlers, assault, beam weapons, bows, etc... Each character plays very different. You take out a squad of 3 and can switch between them at will [tag team style, they heal while not active].

The biggest mark against the game is it feels very 'checklist'y... mission to find new agent, mission to unlock them, mission to unlock special ability, etc... plus tons of 'open world' style things to do plus a main storyline. There's also a lot of arena style combat, so I guess that could get old, though so far I've been enjoying it. You can easily switch difficultly across a broad spectrum, sort of diablo style [you set a level that affects gold/exp bonuses].

That said, it's actually really well put together. There's a far greater complexity to combat than is in Saint's Row, and it works really well. Some enemies might have shields in addition to health, for example, so different squadmates work better to remove shields, then switch, etc.

Definitely was worth picking up if you see it at the right price.
Good post and I agree with your assessment. I picked it up at launch and got a good amount of entertainment out of it. I finished the story and the character missions but burned out before collecting all the damn shards or grinding everybody to 20 though.

https://www.sonyrewards.com/en/account/pass/available

Sony Rewards has a new Reward Pass system where you can get reward points by earning trophies, renting movies on the PS Store, and subscribing or using trials for Sony services. You have to activate them first, but it's a neat addition to the service beyond getting points for buying things on the store.

For the trophy passes, you get 1000 points ($10) for 10 platinum trophies, 250 points ($2.50) for 25 gold trophies, and 100 points ($1) for 100 silver trophies after activating the pass. It's not retroactive, but I don't see any sort of expiration date on this offer. The pass for using trials for PSN services (PS+, Music, Now, Vue) is retroactive, as I had two checkmarks after activating it a minute ago. That pass gets you a 15% off coupon for the PS Store if you use all four trials.
Anyone else having issues with the playstation music trial/sub working?

Not sure if this was mentioned, tried looking a few pages back but watch your emails from PlayStation Store with the subject "[Your Gamer Tag], see what's new this week", it includes a 20% off code for the PlayStation Store.

edit: waited too long to post this, so didn't see the responses first.

So after finally using my 20% coupon from my destiny 2 pro bundle I get this message "this discount code is not valid for the country associated with your account" dont know what gives i made a U.S account and I got the bundle here in the U.S so any ideas why it's not working?

Edit:I'm on a 30 day ps+ trial if that helps.

Did anyone else get a 20% off code in the Playstation Store newsletter just now?
How do you sign up for that newsletter, is it part of the Sony Rewards program? I know I probably won't get the 20% code if I sign up right now, but it would be useful for the future.

Sure, that is how to sign up, and I am. Have been for years. I don't think I have ever received a newsletter.
Yeah this bugs me. I too have been signed up for years but have never gotten the newsletter. Always make sure to check spam as well but nothing there. I always miss out on these cool deals as a result!

Same. I called them up and complained once and they pointed me to the same place and said "looks like you're signed up. Should be getting the next one." Still nothing...

somehow i didn't get this week's newsletter but did in the past...checking message history, the last time i got a weekly newsletter was on 10/13!? I didn't get one on 10/20 or 10/27 either o_O and checking https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com/liquid/cam/account/notify/edit-settings!input.action?displayNavigation=false says i'm still subscribed... *pouts*

The new Sony Rewards feature is such a great idea, too bad it's not retroactive but ya I can see cheaters popping trophies like crazy tho.

So for everyone who had asked about Hidden Agenda my friends and I did a full playthrough last night and I can say if you have a group to play it with, it is absolutely worth the $20 or $15.99 with gcu. That said Im not sure I'd say it's worth it if you're playing solo. It's basically an interactive movie. scene's play and a decision has to be made regarding what to do or what to say. It's got a law and order feel to it but it was fun. I played with 5 of my friends (the game supports up to 6 players) and the best part of the game was debating and arguing with friends regarding what decisions to make.

The game ran about 2 and a half or so hours. It was perfect instead of a movie night. We were all able to just sit around enjoy some drinks and play, with nice chapter breaks for refills and smoke breaks.

It really was an amazingly fun group experience and I hope they make more games in this kind of way. As a solo player it's still probably okay but without the arguing and discussions held as a group it's probably a totally different more movie like experience. Not sure that'd be for me but I'm sure some would like it.

Like I said though for $16 after gcu, the same price as a movie in the theaters, it was totally worth it for a much more entertaining night.

Turned on the PS4 this morning an had a $10 free code in my messages. Anyone know what this was for? Just set the system up the other day...

Also..started the free MGS game and have no voice audio during the cutscenes. Anyone else have this problem?

Are the 20% off coupons transferrable or only usable on the account associated with the email? I got a code that I'm not going to use, happy to give it away if that's possible.

Edit: Code sent to Shadowsteal123

Random question: Are dlc on "complete edition" games on the disc or do I have to dl them?
this doesn't have a universal answer afaik

some stuff comes on disc and sometimes you get codes within the case for extra stuff when buying physical

at least that's how it used to be I don't buy physical currently

There is no standard for this. Games like Witcher 3 and Shadow of Mordor had DLC on disc. Meanwhile, Fallout 4 and Dragon Age: Inquisition had codes for the season pass. Just a couple of examples.

Long ago in this thread somebody said Divinity Original Sin was $8 on Black Friday last year. Can anyone confirm this? Also, what are the odds that happens again this year? Seems like that would be a hell of a deal since it's still over $30 everywhere, on disc. I'd prefer a physical copy for that same price if possible.

Yes it was. I bought it then. It was at Walmart.

I'm about to get a month of PS+ to get the full discount on the Hatsune Miku bundle, does it set to auto renew? I'll save $1 more so I figure I may as well get the benefit and go through the extra hoop, but I don't see myself playing any multiplayer anytime soon so I don't want to drop the additional $30 for the year.
