Personally, I'm having way more fun with my second (Good) playthrough compared to my first (Evil), though hopefully you'll still enjoy it.

I just beat Infamous over the weekend for the first time. Good playthrough. Is evil different enough that it's worthwhile playing through again? I don't care about trophies so that aspect of it is meaningless to me. Wondering the same on Infamous 2--IIRC the Good story is supposed to be better, but I haven't looked too much in-depth on it.

I'm not even that big of a fan of JRPGs, but I've heard smatterings of people in this thread say many of these Golden Week sale games rarely go on sale or have never been on sale, so I'm tempted.  I've bought MGS2 and 3 several times before, but it seems nice to have them on my Vita.  Muramasa looks like my type of game, but I'm hoping you have some opinions on it.  I know the PS1 classics are just that, classics, but I've never played them before and don't know if I ever will (especially because they are quite lengthy, according to howlongtobeat.com).  But if they're as good as everyone says, maybe I should pick them up on the cheap?

If you don't play Chrono Cross/Chrono Trigger least for the story, something is wrong with you. Essentially, both are time travel stories. VERY GOOD Time Travel stories. CT precedes CC, so if you need a game to try first, play CT. It's an SNES revision with slightly updated graphics, added animation cutscenes...easily one of the simplest and hardest RPGs you can hope to play. One of the biggest selling points of CT is the plethora of endings you can amass in the game (which usually takes a single playthrough to open up with). I can't say in detail without spoiling, but you'll get it if you play the game.

I noticed that Sucker Punch tends to put more effort into the Good story for their games (likely because they go with those as canon), so for that reason, I've always played Evil first. The progress I've made in SS so far in the Good story seems better than the entire Evil story.

Buy MGS HD Vita, Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story. Chrono Cross and Vagrant story are classics that anyone who enjoys JRPGs should play at least once. I was impressed by the quality of MGS Vita port. At the current PSN sales prices they are an absolute steal. I purposefully left Chrono Trigger off the list as the PSX version of the game has terrible load times. With respect to Maramuas there is a decent change it will end up on PS+ at some point, so you can hold off on that one as well.

The load times for CT PS1 are not game breaking nor do they make it the unplayable travesty that people keep perpetuating.

Its certainly noticeable if you've played any cart versions of the game, but its completely functional and worth the price and time spent to experience it if you haven't already.

I almost always use "your" for everything because its a pain in the ass to use the correct form.  I figure if everyone knows what you mean whats the point in taking more time to say the same thing.  I rarely use commas as it is.

Depends on the time equals money argument, adding how much you want to play the game when it's released and such. There should be an algorithm for that.

I used to buy everything that was on sale. The only game I'm grabbing from the sale are the Star Wars tables. I'm tired of being black and blue in the face.

It's pretty clear that Ghosts has been a failure.

By failure I mean that Activision execs are having to settle for mid-size yachts this year instead of the big ones.

Hopefully it will spur more innovation, but it will likely just mean that everything is going according to Activision's normal plans of milking things until they shrivel up and die.

Would it be worth selling off physical, sealed, Greatest Hits copies of Chrono Cross and Vagrant Story in favor of the PSN digital versions? Is there any decrease in fidelity or anything with the digital versions?

 
So, I'm running into an issue I've never had before.

While playing through Child of Light, I'll get a message saying the game will close in 15 minutes before the licenses cannot be verified. I've had to restore licenses via PSN twice now, but I don't think that's fixing the issue.

Any ideas? Like I said, I've never seen this happen before.

Did you buy it on the account you are playing on? If not, you might want to make sure the account you bought it on is still set to primary on your console. A friend of mine had that issue this morning with his UK account when he was trying to play the new Sound Shapes DLC on his main account. The new PS4 update apparently cleared that account as being primary.
