I tried that 1button app in Firefox when that was first posted on CAG and it didn't work for me. No $5 discount ever showed up. I will try it again next time I have something to buy, though.

Yeah, I already used it twice lol. Once for the PS TV order ($15 off total combined with e-mail coupon), and once for my super ultimate mega Halloween blu-ray boxset. (2 accounts, afraid to use more than that)

I need to go to the Post Office and get a mover's coupon to Best Buy for 10% off on that Destiny bundle.

 
Is Watchdogs ps4 worth 52 bucks? It's a slight discount on amazon and I'm getting bored with wolfenstein. I think anything would bore me after the Destiny alpha,

I don't think it really shows up anywhere IIRC. Just install it and use the Amazon search bar to get to the product you want. Should give you $5 off.

That's a lot honestly, but I'm a bit spoiled on high game prices with GCU. AWD has them around $40-45, and maybe cheaper if you're lucky.

I think it is. The story starts slow, gets good, then kind of falls flat again toward the end. The side stuff is far more fun than in GTAV though. I couldn't be bothered with any of GTA's side missions and powered through the story but with Watchdogs I kept getting sidetracked from the story. I also find the hacking and invasion part of the multiplayer to be the one of the most addicting gaming experiences I've had in recent years. I'm hooked and always have that just one more feeling. Its refreshing that its less about how much you can shoot someone and more about how much you can fuck with someone. They do have standard shooting multiplayer modes as well, and racing.

I was really expecting to find it over hyped and lackluster, but I love it.

Nah. The fact that it's a Ubi game means it will likely go much cheaper not without too much more waiting (though AC4 on next gen took awhile, so I could be wrong). More importantly, I found it to be a pretty dull open world and story. Others seem to like it, so you may too, but waiting for it to be cheaper seems smarter.

Are you talking about wondering around and trying to find out which one of the NPCs in a certain area is actually an online player? I didn't find that to be fun at all. Never bothered to do it aside from when they forced it on you in an early mission (although sometimes you get invaded and don't have a choice).

Yeah I tried that out, thought it was dumb.

I bought those 2 Ratchet games for my backlog, if I went straight out Ratchet until I finished them all I'd probably make it to the end of the year gaming wise.

I don't go to Kotaku but I did click that link, man that site looks like a bag of dog shit. It looks like it's from the Netscape Navigator days of websites. Their logo and site name sucks asshole too. I agree though most of these sites are just click bait not actual news. I realize you need news for a gaming news site but it's out of control most of the time. Guess what only runs at 900p? I don't give a shit I bought the right console.

Yes. I prefer being the invader and just reque for that back to back, but I still have fun defending. I'd say over half of my invaders never even get the hack started. If you are aware someone is in your game before they profile you then you have the upper hand. The hack cant be started till you're profiled from about 30 meters away and in visible line of site. So if you get some distance quickly and position yourself right you can see the enemy area bubble approaching and have a good shot at picking them off before shit goes down. If they do manage to profile you then you can still take off at full speed. If they don't start the hack fast enough you can actually leave get enough distance between you that they cannot start the hack and have a very limited amount of time to catch back up and start before you win. Conversely its fun overcoming these obstacles when being the invader, and ideally trying to remain undetected completely.

I'm sure its not for everyone, but the cat and mouse mechanic is a blast to me, and the high speed chases that ensue after being found or finding someone are adrenaline pumping, especially since as the runner you're not allowed to harm the pursuer. Its intense. Its also hilarious to see people freaking out and panicking trying to find you and desperately shooting anything that moves towards the end, haha.

 
Really disappointed in what I'm hearing/seeing from the Borderlands Pre-Sequel front. Looking to be a lot of carried over guns, and a lot of the same guns with different sayings/adjusted for cryo element. From dissected videos, they are showing the Harold, Gub, Bitch, etc. I am liking the skill trees for the characters though.

 
I'm playing the Tearaway demo and I instantly fell in love with it. It's the only Vita game I've played that makes the back touchpad seem worthwhile. I've got to find a way to scrape up the cash for this one!

It's a great game, I loved it. But it's extremely short, even going for 100% completion. If you only played it 1 hour a day, you'd be hard pressed to get 2 weeks out of it. I'd recommend looking for a sale on the physical so you can trade/sell it after you're done. That's the route I took and it worked out great. Not to deter you if that route doesn't appeal to you though, it's a great game and easily worth that price.

Any other battery powered devices like clock radios? Old digital watches? Do you live in an apartment/townhouse, could it possibly be something beeping on the other side of the wall / floor in their area? Step outside and see if you can hear it out there. If it becomes too frustrating you could try shutting the power down so that you at least know whether or not it is a battery powered device.

Spacechem is one of the few pc games i"ve played. It's fun, fantastic puzzle game. You need to optimize building chemical molecules on an assembly line you build yourself. It sounds terribly boring but it's actually addictive as hell.

Are you 'charging' your primary weapon (the rifle) so that it does headshots? Getting the timing of that gun down right is key to survival/ammo conservation. It's my primary mode of dealing death.

Ah, i completely forgot that mechanic. It was awesome when you lined up a bunch of zombies and took them all down with one rifle shot. There was a gun that mowed down hundreds of enemies at a time during the last level where there were thousands of zombies on screen.

 
It's official I have enough Ratchet games in my backlog to feed an army. I magically turned my Crack In Time to a digital copy, 14 physical games and counting on my way to be 100% digital. Half way through Heavy Rain, 13 here I come!

I hadn't been keeping up with it. It was deal of the day at BB when I picked it up (14.99/11.99 GCU). But it's worth it at $18/20 for physical more so than $17.50 for digital IMO.

It's one of those games people like to get all tingly about. If you're the type of person who can find deeper meaning in flower petals blowing around in the wind then you might like it.

It's a pretty unique experience. You use the sixaxis controls the whole game. I didn't care too much for it, but it was fun for a while. At $3.50, if you still get all 3 versions for that price I'd say it's worth it on the chance you may like it. I think the trophy lists are also seperate for each one. I'd look at a youtube vid or the vid on the store. You're basically gathering/controlling flower petals, floating with the wind, while using the tilt functions to do it.

Damn, I didnt know to be on the lookout for hidden deeper meanings lol. Like I said, I thought it was fun for 10-15 minutes just because of the controls/environment. Then again, I may not have gotten past the first level to get to that part.

 
I absolutely loved flower (and Journey even moreso). Played it through on both PS4 and Vita. PS4 is for sure the best experience if you have headphones / a good audio system

So let me get this straight, If I want to go digital on the 3DS swapping some retail physical games out with 2 old games and 1 sort of new game it would cost me $120? $40 each!? fuck that. Nintendo it's called a price drop...learn it.

I've said it before, but this is a huge drawback to me owning a Nintendo console. Most their first party games (which are usually the must-play ones) never ever drop in price. I don't like to go much above $10 to buy games anymore, so even if I had a 3DS and/or WiiU I would have almost no games for them anyway.

Well to make it worse a game like Starfox 64 which I'd like to move over to digital can be found at retail much lower than $39.99 most of the time especially when it hits clearance in stores.
